Time to learn a thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineering_tolerance"Dimensions, properties, or conditions may have some variation without significantly affecting functioning of systems, machines, structures, etc. A variation beyond the tolerance (for example, a temperature that's too hot or too cold) is said to be non-compliant, rejected, or exceeding the tolerance."
Is national yoyo league still in ise to register for contests or do I have to use yoyocontest.com? Also can I use my account I made on national yoyo league on yoyocontest.com?
Pretty sure league@nationalyoyo.com is the email address you are looking for. -Steve
What website do I use to register for contest in the US?
Probably a better question for the organizer of whatever contest you are talking about? -Steve
Those Igloo's looking real good!
Hell yeah they are! Can't wait! -Steve
28 Stories on the last Borealis run though!
Good stuff. -Steve
Chris what even are generic Mexican highlights? Where can I get them? I'd think you would use Kitty String since that's what the whole team uses and is also sponsored by them unless that was a joke you put on what the team uses.
That post hadn't been updated since November of last year, and at the time Chris had a giant pile of generic Mexican highlight strings he's been working through. At this point he really just uses Kitty String Fat. Post updated! http://clyw.ca/news/clyw-team-what-do-they-use/ -Steve
It's crazy on how diverse people are in yoyoing.
It's pretty good, compared to most subcultures. Could be better, and we have almost zero gender diversity, but ethnic diversity, yes....definitely better than average. -Steve
Should I get a Blizzard or Igloo?
Yes.
CLYW Millennium confirmed for the 10th anneversary?!?!?
A millennium is 1,000 years. I'm not sure what that has to do with our 10-year anniversary? -Steve
Social media consulting work, although he's trying to reduce that and focus more on CLYW. -Steve
Steve, what do you do other than CLYW?
I'm a stay-home dad of three kids, I run YoYoNews.com and Bindlewood.com, I run various yoyo contests including Ohio States, Triple Crown, Las Vegas Open, and 2016 Worlds, I work with the National YoYo League, and I'm working on a few new projects that will launch in 2017; one is a non-profit organization and there are a couple of non-yoyo related businesses that I'll be starting up. -Steve
I actually like how Zach hasn't been active after Worlds. It's like he isn't feeding on his pride and holds some kind of integrity and people have huge respect for him when he does come out with something. No one knows what he'll do which makes it always interesting to watch him do his thing.
Also, he's hella busy with school ha ha. But yeah...he always does things at his own pace, which is why everything he does comes out pretty unique and amazing. -Steve
