is there a difference between the majesticity of maple syrup and Morgan Freeman?

That might be the best question we've ever gotten here.
And the answer is no....both are equally majestic.

I'm curious what type of behavior would lead a company to not sponsor a person? Like on Facebook would post filled with cursing, innuendo, and other non family friendly content, or maybe having overly sad/violent post. What are flag the raisers? Would trying too hard to get sponsored be considered?

We look for players who feel like part of the family. There are no hard-and-fast rules about what is ok and what is not, but we obviously try to steer clear of people who act like complete lunatics and don't know how to behave themselves around kids when they are representing us.
We are never really "looking" for new team members....we just sort of find them. :)

Is there a regulated contest scoring method, or is it subjective? Is there some big international recognized organization that manages these things?

http://iyyf.org/
Every contest posts their own rules on their website, but they all tend to follow the same ones (for the most part). The National organizations for each country generally set the standard for contest scoring in that country, for all sanctioned "official" events. Most everyone defaults to the IYYF.

I went to a contest recently and came last. However whilst there I noticed most (if not all) the points were being given out for string hits. Is this normal? To score more should I concentrate on combos with lots of string hits?

Did you sit down with the judges and ask them, or are you just assuming they were only scoring for string hits? That particular complaint is most often used by people with the least understanding of the judging system...if you want to know what the judges scored, you need to talk to them! They are your best resource!

Hey CLYW, I'm in a rut. I can't really get tricks right or string together a combo. Is the a certain trick path you can put me on so that I can be an expert? Like from begginer to Master. I want to be able to compete in WYYC someday.

Switch things up! Work on a style you aren't proficient in, fiddle around with kendamas and spin tops, but don't try to force something that isn't coming. Distract yourself, and let the creativity happen in your subconscious while you take a break from your regular style.

chuck, i have three questions: how many color ways has CLYW made? how many return tops have CLYW made? whats your favorite colorway?

oh man that info could take days to find! There has been many colorways. CLYW has made 24 different return tops over the years.
I like the bushmen colorway, bip bop, and solids.
