I reread it. It depends on context, who it came from and what the situation is. Either I’ll be hurt or try to make sense of it

I grew surrounded by athletic men. My dad, brothers, team mates and coaches were hard on me which made me strong. What most find hurtful is critical and open to hearing my mistakes. So many sensitive narcissist in this world that can’t hear criticism because they got stuck in toddler stage and if you can’t be open to criticism you can’t be accountable and grow as person. This is the US epidemic.
