You have been meeting some cool people even though classes are remote? Do you all turn on your cameras and stuff?
Yes! I joined a couple of UCLA class of 2024 groups and found some interesting people to befriend😊 and for classes sometimes the teacher requires you to turn your cameras on but sometimes other teachers are more lenient because they’re teaching 200 students in one meeting!
How have your classes been? How many weeks of class has it been?
I’m starting third week this coming Monday! Classes have been slightly challenging but I’m dedicated to pushing through! I’ve joined a couple of study groups which definitely helps.

What do you think of cheaters (in romantic relationships)?
Mostly I don’t like their dishonesty and breach of trust to their partners, but sometimes I wonder what was going on in the relationship which made one of the partners cheat. Personally if this happened to me, I would forgive whoever cheated on me if they gave me an extenuating reason why, but i wouldn’t get back together with them.

I totally understand! Life is really a rollercoaster as some people say. But I appreciate that life isn’t always easy because it’s the challenges that make you grow. I’m actually doing a lot better than I was during the beginning of quarantine. Last week was my first day of uni. I feel that having things to do makes me more productive and in return, happier. I’ve made a couple of friends in zoom breakout rooms haha

History is one of my favorite subjects. And I love musicals. So my mind was literally blown away with Hamilton the musical. OMG. And what is crazy is that the biography shows it's pretty much all true. All the drama of his life was real.

Try to think about what you’re struggling with or lacking in and formulate some ideas and plans to help you better yourself. Writing things down always helps! Remember, you are allowed to take baby steps when attempting to improve yourself so don’t let a certain negative outcome bring you down! Hope i’ve been of any help.

I dunno, what about Kappa Alpha Theta? They seem like popular girls who are attractive and smart, who are kinda business and success-oriented? I dunno, or do you see yourself more as a social justice minority advocate? Because Theta is pretty White?
This question has actually brought me lots of insight. At my high school, the racial demographic was quite diverse so an Asian individual didn’t feel like a minority. It will seem like an eye opener if I join a sorority and then I will finally feel like a minority. I don’t know how I feel about that. But I also an advocate for the fight against discrimination due to one’s skin color. I’ve been researching and discovered a group called Student Activist Project at UCLA and I feel like they’ll make a positive to the campus.
Or you know, if you wanted to go into finance or investment banking. There's nothing wrong with that. No judgment here from me. I just want you to be happy and successful, you know? What do you think?
I enjoy the maths and sciences so I’m really keen on finding a career that focuses on those two disciplines. I feel like I can be truly happy in a workplace that enforces these two subjects. I really appreciate that you’re looking out for what will make me truly happy from the inside and not just outwardly happy!

Ironically, I used to be in love with John Green novels back in middle school! But now i am attempting to expand my selection by focusing on the classic novels and not the new and trending young adult novels!🙂

I think there are times where lying is justified in instances where someone will be endangered or cause danger to another person. For example, lying about doing your homework so you don’t get in trouble is unjustifiable, but there are much bigger issues that can be.
