What do you love about Nadja?

so many things anon, so many things.
i love how selfless she is. her sense of humor. her wit. her intelligence. her determination. her dedication. the fact that she tries so goddamn hard to learn english. the fact that she tried to read ipsuren back when her english was really, really poor (when we first met a year ago).
i love her kindness. how considerate she is of others. that she tries her hardest not to upset anyone or make anyone worry about her.
i love it when she says "okno" after saying something she thinks is stupid. i love the way she edits, how talented she is and how humble she is about it. i love her obsession with michael jackson. I LOVE THAT SHE USED TO BE PART OF MICHAEL JACKSON FANDOM BECAUSE THERE ACTUALLY IS A FANDOM FOR HIM ON THE INTERNET WHERE THEY WRITE FANFICTION AND SHIT. i love how bad her edits were back when she was in Naruto fandom.
i just honestly like more things about her every single day, because every single day i learn something new about her and there hasn't been anything i haven't liked.

walk us through an average day in the life of queen lamia

wake up at noon; down a shot
check tumblr and twitter and email
for every NON KPOP video on youtube feed, down a shot
check pixiv. cry over eruris.
check AO3. if eruri smut, fap.
it should now be 1 pm.
attempt to write fanfic and think of self as the next James Joyce. realize after an hour that you're more like E L James. drink a lot and consider alternative options to writing, including sex work.
make a late lunch: if there are leftovers, eat those. otherwise it'll probably be a tuna sandwich and oolong tea (which you will spike).
stumble into the afternoon and drunkenly fight homework demons.
it is 5 pm and you are probably too smashed to function. attempt to play Bayonetta or Bioshock on Hard. fail miserably and deplete all of your ammo in 10 minutes. give up and retreat to your lair to scroll mindlessly through tumblr and harass senpais.
make dinner, usually pasta. figure you'll be drinking while eating so you might as well start early, since you're pretty hungry by this point. try not to burn yourself.
talk to roommates for the only 15 mins/day you allow them. try not to slur too much.
roll back to the batcave and watch some 80's movies. if you're not feeling like watching anything, listen to the cure or the smiths or depeche mode. go onto ebay and etsy and svpply to cry over things you will never be able to afford, things that would ultimately make your life worth living.
skype with kaworu-kun until you pass out.
wake up at noon the next day; down a shot.

Unpopular opinion(s) about kpop?

OH MY GOD I HAVE SO MANY I WON'T EVEN NAME THEM ALL BUT HERE ARE THE BIG ONES
- first of all i think G-Dragon has gotten too into his image since Heartbreaker and has sacrificed music quality in favour of mass appeal, status and just generally being a rebel and korean pop culture God.
- if super junior never puts out another album it'll be too soon
- exo is probably the most overrated musical group in any genre, ever. not bc they're not talented but because they only have, like, 6 songs and only three of them are quality(?)
- the overwhelming majority of female kpop fans under age 16 are really fucking difficult to like and even harder to take seriously
- half of kpop (MUSIC) is just...awful, tbh.

you're not planning to delete ipsuren aren't you?

no oh my god i could never delete it. i would never, ever delete it, because i worked so fucking hard on it. it's ridiculous how much i slaved over that stupid livejournal. i grew to hate it because i spent so much time obsessing over it. that livejournal, that fic, was created with my sweat and blood and tears and tens of hours when i should have been sleeping, but instead spent typing and writing and going over notes again and again. no, i need it, bc i need that reminder of what i'm capable of when i'm driven to accomplish something.

What can you do to make this world a better place?

stick to your morals and don't be a hypocrite. if you're against slut shaming/rape culture, don't go around using the word "slut" and criticizing other's appearances. stand up for what you believe in and SPEAK OUT. call others out on their misogny/racism/homophobia. take the 5 minutes out of a conversation to tell your friend or family member that they shouldn't use words like 'faggot,' 'nigga,' and 'retarded.' don't police others. don't judge others. and if someone is doing something offensive, hold them accountable, even if they're a celebrity from another culture.

i add the shinee members and yasmin yo for the dislikey likey thing omdg

okay!
Jinki:
+ he's so fucking sexy when he wants to be dear lord i just want him to rip me open and suck out my soul
- he needs to stop this clumsy dubu aegyo shit
Jonghyun:
+ i love how cocky and witty and sarcastic and mouthy he is
- i hate how he acts on variety shows tbh. he talks too much and hogs all the spotlight and gets really emotional and i just want to facepalm bc it's embarrassing and you can tell the MC's don't know how to react
Key:
+ my favourite thing about key is, and i've said this before, how fearless he is. he's not afraid to be himself and fuck everyone else. even if it's at the expense of others, or his image, he's true to himself. a lot of people think his lack of consideration is his worst quality because it's what gets him into trouble the MOST and has the potential to cause scandals (like him telling women they would look better with plastic surgery, or telling nicole to lose weight), but i find it really admirable tbh.
- my least favourite thing about key ties into my favourite thing, because although i admire his confidence and lack of fuck giving, i sometimes really hate his delivery. he lacks tact and sometimes it comes across as if he also lacks empathy for others (telling women the would look better with plastic surgery and telling nicole to lose weight are two extremely harmful, hurtful things to say to someone).
SO THE POINT IS, WHILE I ADMIRE THE FACT THAT HE'S CONFIDENT IN HIS BELIEFS ENOUGH TO SAY WHAT'S UP, I DO THINK THERE HAS TO BE A LINE DRAWN AND I DON'T THINK KEY IS OFTEN TIMES CAPABLE OF DRAWING THAT LINE, EITHER BC HE LACKS EMPATHY FOR OTHERS (which would make him a sociopath) OR HE'S JUST AN INCONSIDERATE SELFISH PRICK (probably this one).
Minho:
+ i don't like anything about minho
- i dislike the fact that i don't like anything about minho
........jk
+ I like Minho's passion. he has a really big heart and it's apparent how much he loves his fans. he works really hard and is very dedicated in everything he does. he genuinely cares about what he's doing, even if he doesn't get the most attention all the time, he loves being an idol and part of shinee and it's obvious.
- my least favourite thing about Minho is his unintentional sexism tbh. PLS NOTE I AM NOT CALLING MINHO SEXIST, I AM SAYING HIS KOREAN-BRED IDEAL OF MARRIAGE AND A WIFE IS SEXIST. but it's not his fault bc korea.
- i also dislike his rapping.
Taemin:
+ he's grown so fucking much and i think somewhere along the line his desire to prove to his hyung's he's not a baby turned into him being an adrenalin junkie and that shit just turns me the fuck on.
- i hate how he acts around girls. it makes me want to throw up.

describe your ideal wedding :U

i want something very close to nature, preferably by a stream, with white fairy/tea lights and candles. i want to be barefoot with a crown of flowers instead of a veil. i want everyone to sit on pillows/blankets instead of chairs...we will have a celtic/Irish folk band...but this is just what i want and i also have to take into consideration what my partner wants. i dont want her to wear a suit...i was thinking that she could wear a short white dress and i could wear a gown....idk...
its so far in the future tbh none of it will probably even happen

It seem like you are making fun of her by telling you would make a dictionary out of her mistakes.

correction: i would make a dictionary out of all the words she makes up, because she has her own language and it's somewhere between english and spanish and to me it is one of the most endearing things about her. i want to write them down so we can have our own language, so i can understand her better, because to me it's a reflection of her mind. of her wit. of her sense of humor. i have never made fun of her english, not once, in the entire time we've known each other. the fact that she tries so hard to communicate in a language she's not 100% comfortable with is one of the bravest things i've ever seen. the fact that she's improved so much since we met by teaching herself this complicated language makes her the most intelligent person i know.
i don't call her efforts "mistakes." the fact that you would even insinuate that they are such is what is offensive.

how did you and nadja meet

ONCE UPON A TIME, back in 2011/12(?) when i was a semi known kyu stan on tumblr, she followed me, but her english was really poor at the time (bc she was using google translator for everything omg). EVEN STILL she messaged me and i don't remember what she said bc she told me recently she was still using her old username...but anyway she just started messaging me in broken english a lot and i was like "aw you're cute" so we started talking more?
and then one day she stopped talking to me for a while bc she felt self conscious of her engrish so i messaged her like "what up bro where you been" and my heart hurt because i missed her. and now a year later we're stupidly in love.

Why do you hate so much when Roy's followers talk about him and Minho being together or just boys? It's not your deal, If someone should get annoyed, should be Roy, not you.

it's exploitative of homosexuals and guess what? i'm a fucking homosexual. therefore, it bothers me. it's offensive to me, as an actual gay person, the way heterosexuals exploit us. i get disgusted and offended when i go to a party and am swarmed by drunk jocks who want me to tell them all about my sex life. "do you scissor?" "how many girls have you eaten out?" "have you ever done it with two girls at once?" "would you ever fuck a girl in the ass?" etc. and then they want me to make out with some random girl at the party who i'd never met who isn't even gay or bisexual, but just happens to be attractive and drunk.
sounds offensive, right? sounds ignorant, right? well guess what, you girls are doing the exact same thing to roy except it's even WORSE because he's STRAIGHT. he's a human being, a 17 year old boy with feelings and friends who goes to school and has parents and all of those things, NOT a character in a yaoi manga or a celebrity or a gay porn star. what these girls are doing is SEXUAL HARASSMENT and not only is it offensive, but it's abusive. besides, he's asked everyone to stop. multiple times. he's said he doesn't like it. you're being disrespectful and inconsiderate by pushing it.
he's one of my good friends and i'm sitting here watching this happen, having been through similar situations in real life and KNOWING what it feels like to be made to feel like a sex object, without a personality, without a life outside my sexuality. what kind of friend would i be if i didn't defend him?

When did you knew you were a lesbian? When was the moment you sat back and just knew?

for me, discovering my sexuality was a very long, drawn-out process. some people know from a very early age and some people have to get married and have kids before they realize. looking back on my childhood, there were signs, but at the time i didn't pay much attention to them because there was all this other stuff going on in my life that made sexuality in general very dark and grim and evil. it wasn't until i was in middle school that i got my first girlfriend, so i started identifying as bisexual at 13. there was a lot of pressure from both sides. i was very aware of the lgbt community and was a hardcore activist for gay rights even at age 10, so homosexuality wasn't ever something that i was sheltered from or put against. anyway, when i reached high school, i dated both boys and girls and i made a lot of really bad decisions. then, last year, i started a relationship with one of my best friends, a boy, who i trusted and loved very much as a brother and confidant. it became very apparent very early on, however, that it wasn't what i wanted. i was past puberty. there were no hormones involved, i wasn't sexually charged, there wasn't any confusion. i was an adult and as an adult it became 100% clear to me that i was not and never would be sexually attracted to him. and that's when i knew.

if it's a normal thing to be gay, then why do people find it weird?

just because some people find something 'weird' doesn't mean it's not normal. to be fair, homosexuality isn't the norm, we are a minority. but you seem to be embracing the attitude that public opinion is always and forever the right opinion. keep in mind that for centuries, white people oppressed people of color. that was the norm for a long time, but that didn't make it right. for decades, interracial relationships were considered weird (to put it mildly -- it's only recently that interracial marriages have become legal in the USA), but that didn't make them so. just because someone doesn't dress "normally" and lives an alternative lifestyle (tattoos, piercings, black clothes, dramatic makeup) doesn't make them weird.
but these are all examples that don't really apply to the discussion of sexuality, since marrying outside your race and dressing a certain way are all lifestyle choices where homosexuality is not. sexuality is not something within our control, therefore we should not be persecuted for it. we can choose what we are attracted to no more than one can choose the color of their skin, or their ethnicity.
unfortunately, it is that bigotry, homophobia, racism, sexism and intolerance are the norm in society. but that doesn't make them okay. if anything, we, as revolutionaries and the future of society, should question normalcy. the masses are not always right and sometimes all it takes is one risk-taker and free thinker to promote change and influence revolution.

fuck marry kill: shaun karl nick cave

fuck: Nick Cave (but only if i could get in a time capsule and go back to 1981 when he was young and wild)
marry: shaun
kill: karl cuz i mean he's already dead so idk (he'll just come back anyway bc loop theory)

who is sharp?

Sharp is my OC (original character) and my favourite character in the book i'm writing. He's been begging me for years to put him on paper and the reason I started seriously writing this book in particular. He's a demon who can breathe fire and he has a temper and a dark sense of humor (actually he's kind of a brat....).

what is your book about?

HO HOOOOO FINALLY AN ASK ABOUT IT!!!! this has made my night omg thank you anon-chan ♥
it's dark fantasy and features tons of queer relationships and non binary characters! (and some cishet characters too). there will be something for everyone who likes fantasy (...that's a large claim...hopefully it's true...TT). but my baby boy Sharp is a central character in it so I am very, very excited to finally put him in something since he's been trying to get out of my head for years.

what do you think of religions

this is a really loaded question, anon. but okay.
i'll start off by saying that i am not religious. i don't believe in an afterlife or a "creator." i'm not even spiritual -- i don't believe in ghosts or anything. i was raised Methodist Christian: confirmed and baptized into the church when i was 12. when my Pastor found out about my sexuality, he firmly told me that i was not welcome back to service until i'd changed. i have been told by multiple people throughout my life that i'm going to hell because of my sexuality, and i have been bullied in the name of God. so I would say that due to this oppression, my opinion of religion has been coloured. although i questioned my faith and religion as a whole BECAUSE of the treatment of homosexuals by religious affiliations, it is not true to say that that is the SOLE reason i left the church. when i was six and in elementary school, still dutifully following God's path like a good little girl, i often had a lot of anxiety about Hell. I noticed Christian's hypocrisy early on in this regard, often wondering why a "loving" and "forgiving" God would populate Hell with people who might have lived their life without ever sinning, just because they didn't believe in Jesus Christ. The first question I asked my Grandmother was, "if Christianity is the only path that leads to Heaven, but there are so many people who believe in other things [Judaism, Islam, Hindi, Buddhism, etc.,], does that mean God will send all of those people to Hell, even if they haven't done anything wrong?"
This is the biggest flaw in religion as a whole, in my personal opinion. Every religion likes to think their faith is the only path to Heaven and if you don't worship their God you will suffer eternal damnation. This, logically speaking, means the majority of humanity ends up in Hell -- because there can only be one "real" path.
I don't hate religion. It's in human nature to question our beginnings and worry about our ends. Humans needs reassurance and comfort. They want to believe that there is something else for them, that there is meaning to their immediate suffering. That their pain means something and ultimately leads to a reward. It makes pain bearable. But it's not for everyone. I don't personally need religion to justify my existence or give meaning to my death and the death of my loved ones. But that doesn't mean other people don't. And that's okay.
Religion becomes problematic when it causes people to hurt others, which is unfortunately most of the time. to say that religion causes more harm than good is not entirely accurate. I'd say they're evenly matched. While religion saves many from despair, it also causes despair. It is a two headed coin, a serpent with many heads. it's complicated. Light and Dark. Good and Evil. but unavoidable, i think. it is ingrained in all of us. The quest for "how" and "why". But I, personally, have grown beyond it.
