Dr. Harris, just for clarification...the annotated bib instructions states to evaluate the authors background, does this mean we can do a specific search on the author and use what we find? Also, for the "intended audience" part, is based on who we feel the research is intended for?

For the annotated bibliography, parts (a) and (b) ask you to evaluate the author and the intended audience more so as a part of evaluating the credibility and utility of the article for YOUR particular study. This information should be readily available simply by looking at the journal/issue the author is published in. What will be really important is the synthesis and interpretation that comes in parts (c) and (d). I hope this is clear and helps!
