People you may like

Do you believe it's possible for someone to be incompatible with anyone? Or do you believe everyone has their soul mate out their somewhere...

lucascorben25
Of course certain people aren’t compatible with certain people, but I do think that if someone finds someone that is worth it, they’ll want to better themselves. Not just better themselves for this person, but they’ll want to better themself for themself. I don’t believe in soulmates or that there is only one person for everyone out there. I mean come on, there are over 7 billion people on this earth, the thought that only one of them could love you for you is bizarre.

Is it bad that I don’t have energy to do anything anymore ? I stay in my room all day which is a mess, showering and brushing my teeth seems like a job now. I cry for the littlest things and I feel stressed like I can’t anymore

Hey, I completely understand how you feel. But be proud of yourself! You’re still here! That’s amazing, despite the fact that life can get mundane and difficult, you’re still here. It’s not a bad thing, and it’s not something you should be ashamed of whatsoever. Everyone has rough days, maybe you’re having a rough couple days, weeks, months or years even, but that’s only temporary. The pain does stop. And I know you might be asking yourself “When? When does it get better? When does the pain stop?” The pain stops when you let it. It’s difficult, yes, but you’ve got to stick to a simple routine. Wake up, brush your teeth, wash your face, keep your room cleaned, keep the curtains or blinds open to let light in, hang out in your living room for a little bit, call a friend, go for a walk. Life is stressful, but you have to look at the good things in life and really cherish those moments you have that you’re not working or doing something stressful. For me, I like to read at night with a candle and all lights off. It’s relaxing, smells good, and I can get lost in another world. Try it out, you might like it. You’ve got this, don’t stop trying!

You can love someone without liking them. For example, if you have toxic parents, you may not like them but you have love for them just simply because they're the ones that have brought you into this world. I don't like people in general, I still have love and care for all humans. Hate is too strong

I agree with you, I feel the same

If you're being homeschooled, do you enjoy it more than public school?

I used to be homeschooled and it was the worst thing ever, I hated it

Isn't it weird that people have celebrities as their idols? You don't know these people. They don't know you. We all don't know what they do behind the screen. But you are in love because they have good looks or are talented. They should be more of an inspiration to you than for you to look up to em

Yes, that whole ideology is weird. It’s like worshiping someone because of who they pretend to be in movies or worshiping someone for being born with good vocals. However, celebrities do work very hard and are under constant duress. They are just regular human beings yet their lives are document and watched at through eye glasses. People have idols because they look up to them, maybe they are living their dream, maybe they admire their work ethic, maybe they wish they could be so outgoing. I think having celebs as idols it totally understandable

It hurts so much that how people have everything. Why everyone is so talented, successful, creative, has great social skills, attractive, and perfect in general? Why can't I do shit in my life? I feel useless. Why people are always better than me? What is wrong with me? Why do I keep failing?

Listen to me, I feel you. But you know what you have to be proud of? You’re here. Your alive and living. Maybe your not an Instagram model, but who needs that sort of validation anyways? Insecure people. Maybe you’re not a modern day Mozart but hey, when you talk, it’s like music to people’s ears. Maybe you’re not super athletic, but you still got up today and walked around the house, went to school or work. No one is perfect, and so many people think the same way as you do. But I mean, what’s the fun in life if you’re good at everything? What’s there to laugh at if everything is serious and perfect? What does it matter if you’re amazing at something if you didn’t work for it and you only do it for validation? Look on the bright side, you’re still here and you’ve got your whole life to find what makes you tick.
