it would be logical if it was only compulsory for the Muslims and not for the Non-Muslims like me. But, government schools here made it a compulsory subject and even added it as a compulsory subject to the o level subjects for my government school. Why should we, the non- Muslims be forced to learn and study a religion which we are not part of. Muslims have their own views in life, but we do too. Why force those students to study something that may or may not go against their own religion. Why? Just Why? This may have also wasted the non-muslims' precious time, which they could use to study another subject instead of investing time on someone else's religion. We learn our religious knowledge at home, temples and churches. It's great that Muslims get the opportunity to study and learn about their own religion in school. But don't you think it's a bit unfair for the rest of us who are forced upon to learn something we have almost no use of in the future?
