Is suffering really necessary? Yes and no. If you had not suffered as you have, there would be no depth to you as a human being, no humility, no compassion. You would not be reading this now. Suffering cracks open the shell of ego, and then comes to a point when it has served its purpose. Suffering is necessary until you realize it is unnecessary.

Self-love should be a priority in your life. Please, don’t feel bad about practicing self-love. It's not selfish, it’s crucial. How can you truly love another person if you don’t love yourself? If you don't give yourself validation? If you don’t have love within, you can't give it away without. You’re just an empty vessel pretending to be full.
You are the most important person in your life. Stop criticizing yourself, stop pointing out your flaws and imperfections that don't even exist. Realize that you deserve your own love and affection. Realize that you are wonderful, you are loveable. Fall in love with yourself and the world will follow.
When you don't love yourself, you attract toxic relationships. When you don't love yourself, you depend on other people to make you feel a certain way. When you don't love yourself, you become your worst enemy and sabotage your success and happiness.
