I'm a fan of your writing and i'm a writer as well. Do you have any advice for me because i feel like my writing career is doomed way before it has even taken off because I will be enrolling in UKM's ELS program and i have no idea what I'm going to do because the course itself has nothing to do with
what makes u think that ELS has nothing to do with creative writing lol? yeah it's a linguistic programme and if im not mistaken ELS doesn't offer literature as one of its courses. but it doesn't mean it is useless and cant help u in creative writing. u know sir arthur conan doyle rite? the one who wrote sherlock holmes. he was a physicist. which part of bachelor of mechanical engineering (let's say dia ambik program tu lol) that actually helped him to be a good writer? none.
i'm currently taking ELS but not in UKM. it's fun af. i like my courses but not my university lol. but the point is this, the programme that you are taking does not determine whether u can be a writer or not. anyone can be a writer. as long as u have talent and passion, u can go anywhere. ELS is a bonus for you. u will learn a lot, trust me. it does help u in writing. okay lah let's say u want an icon in ELS that contributed to literature. The name is JRR Tolkien. he was a philologist - an expert of language history and literature, which is a branch of ELS.
plus, if u think that entering ASWARA or taking any literature courses can help u to be a good writer, you're not wrong. but think about this. a good writer must know a lot and engage in a lot of fields to produce the best material. if sir arthur was a literature student solely, probably sherlock holmes would never have scientific approach. literature courses only teach you how to analyze novels and poems. but not how to write. u want to be a good writer, read a lot. develop your own style of writing. keep writing and dont stop. please, dont kill urself for things that u are unsure or in this case, the future. be a good writer and a disciplined one. good luck.

it happened in a far place, jauh lagi dari kita. there was a society who lived in barbaric notions and systems including the law. at that place, siapa saja yang buat kesalahan, hukuman dijatuhkan dengan cara yang sangat pelik. maybe because they believe in fate like whatever happens in the future, it is all because of our previous deeds. sama ada benda tu rasional atau tak, if it happens, than it happens.
hukuman dia mudah. pesalah akan di bawa masuk ke dalam sebuah bilik besi. dalam bilik besi yang bentuk empat segi tu, pesalah akan mengadap dua pintu di depan dia (tak termasuk pintu masuk bilik tu). salah satu pintu tu ada serigala lapar di sebaliknya and satu lagi pintu ada seorang perempuan cantik. pesalah tu diminta untuk pilih pintu mana yang dia nak masuk. kalau dia pilih serigala, then dia akan dimakan and bye bye. tapi kalau dia pilih pintu yang ada perempuan tu, dia akan kahwini perempuan tu no matter what he was accused for and he (technically) would be saved dari dakwaan terhadap dia. perempuan tu sangat cantik and dikira reward sebagai terlepasnya dari kena makan serigala.
one day, ada seorang lelaki ni dijatuhkan hukuman tu. lelaki ni cuma orang biasa, a commoner, peniaga di tepi jalan, tapi disebabkan kesalahan dia lambat bayar cukai, dia kena hukuman tu. lelaki ni ada kekasih, seorang perempuan yang bekerja dengan government yang mengamalkan and melaksanakan sistem tu. the woman really loved his man but she couldn't do anything to prevent him from being charged.
the woman, named Lin and her lover, Nil had been in relationship for years. even though taraf kerja diorang berlainan, Lin lihat Nil as someone yang sempurna and very supportive. After all, Lin sanggup sacrifice a lot of things just to ensure that her love on him tak pudar. Nil pun tak pernah rasa rendah diri bila dengan Lin since true love knows no boundaries.
so, sementara Nil ni tunggu hukuman dia dijatuhkan ke atas dia, Lin cuba sedaya upaya untuk dapatkan maklumat mengenai which pintu yang betul. sampai lah satu hari, dia tahu pintu mana satu yang ada serigala and pintu mana ada perempuan tu and not only apa yang ada di sebalik pintu, but also siapa perempuan tu. dia benci perempuan tu sebab dia kenal who the woman was. so before Nil pilih pintu, Lin jumpa kekasih dia for one last time sebelum hukuman tu dijatuhkan. lagipun, Nil sendiri minta untuk jumpa Lin and that was his last request.

tak salah pun untuk mencintainya amboi. the feeling is there right. but, the sense of belonging is not there. u can love anyone in this world. but can own them? to own someone, u have get thru a lot and to love orang yang totally from different world, (melainkan u are a pluralist lols) it hurts right? sometimes, u have to do the best thing u can in order to see or make someone happy. even by eliminating urself from the equation. i hope one day u will heal urself and will be better. but the question is 2 months already lol are u okay now? what's the update?
