Hey Garry, have you considered DX12? Seems like a great fit for a game the scale of Rust. Maybe talked about DX12 to the guys behind the unity engine and know a bit more of their plans on implementing it. I was wondering if implementing it would be hard for the team and if it would help performance.

DirectX versions aren't magic bullets. Microsoft + NVidia want you to think that DX12 makes your games look and run awesome automatically. It's bullshit. It just sells graphics cards and OS upgrades. It's the same shit.
