And about shows and such
My biggest recent watch was "She-ra and the Princesses of Power". The remake of a famous 80's show for girls, you know. It was pretty good, though flawed. But the final season kicked ass and fixed all the problem the show had earlier. If you enjoy fantasy animation, LGBTQ+ themes (lots of them!), slow-burn romance and engadging characters you might like it. But teh fights only get good around seasone 3.
Aside of that, i was pretty impressed by recent "The Green Kinght" movie. It's, once again, is not an actual adaptation of 15 century anonymous English poem, but it's visually stunning and provides a pretty unique look at the kinghthood and "the way of the her" in general, which is so constantly re-inforced in culture. A worthy watch if you're ready to a slow, pretty surreal movie, there CGI is not always top notch (did not bother me a bit, but my wife found them laughable).
What else? I've recently wtached teh animated feature "Breadwinner" by Tomm Moore's (who made Song of Sea) pupil. It has a similar style, though not that imaginative nad more straight-forward. It's about women in Afganistan, so it's very timely right now, but it's also not an easy watch.
"The Lighthouse" was incredible! It's sucha unique cinamtography experience, and both Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson were incredible in their roles. I couldn't put my eyes away from teh screen even for a moment. It is disturbng on purpose, though, so be aware.
"Vivo" was a great little animated musical. With songs by Linn Manuel Miranda (from "Hamilton" and "Moana"), very pleasant humor and great, intense pacing, I hadn't seen something like that in a long time.
There are more, of course, but I think those are teh most remarkable and the ones you might be interested in.
