What if you can't get the salary you demand or request for 3,5k per month and to start form small amount like 1,200 to 1,600? And how will you deal with it ?...

I think firstly one has to be realistic --is what you have to offer to the company (based on aptitude and credentials) a reasonable match with your requested salary? If no, you should probably revise your expectations. If yes, perhaps you could explain why and reach some sort of compromise with your potential employer. If you are really confident of what you have to offer and no compromise can be reached, perhaps you should look for another company. Never settle for less than you deserve (but only if you deserve it) (:

did you get any bursaries/scholarships for your summer school? :)

I don't think NUS offers a lot of bursaries for summer school but I did get the NASA one for my exchange programme to UC Berkeley, California (:

Do you like long hair or short hair better on others?

Generally I think girls look better with long hair and guys with short, but that's a personal preference --it really depends on the individual too!

How fast do you fall in love?

I think it takes years haha. To me, a liking for someone/something is not the same as love, which can only come over time and sacrifice.

Hello i am currently taking sc2216 right now and i am actually an engin student taking it as UEM. With my fyp and other engin modules, i do not have time to read up all the readings? How did you study for SC2216?

Hi, I understand... you can pick one key reading per week that the prof highlights (bc that's probably the most important one) and then get the key concepts, which you should then relate back to that week's topic (this is a good guide for your essays too). Sociology is very much based on concepts/theories so as long as you get those, it shouldn't be too much of a problem! Good luck (:

Do your parents tutor you personally or find you tutors? And do you take any national exams then? How did you apply to NUS? Sorry for the questions, find this so cool :)

Haha no worries! My mom taught me herself. For admission to NUS I wrote a personal statement and submitted documents from my home-school program, but i do not have any standardised certs like A levels/poly diploma (:

heyyy yk previously when u said u hadn't done too well for an assignment how did u do for that mod in the end? i had a B- for a 30% assignment n im thinking of giving up on this mod sigh sad sad

I had a B- for a 25% assignment previously but managed to get B+ in the end! You can't exercise s/u for a major module anyway, so I would say just keep doing your best. Afterall, B- to B+ is still a huge difference and could really prevent a huge detriment to your CAP. You can do it (:

hi janice, are you doing honours? Are you writing a thesis and what mods are you thinking of taking next sem?

Yes I am definitely thinking of doing an honours thesis but unfortunately I don't have a concrete research thesis yet ):

Hey Janice :) are you on exchange?? You can go in year 4?

Hi, yes I am (: I'm finishing year 3 this semester, going back to NUS in AY 2017-18 to finish up year 4. Hope that helps!

hey janice, do you mind continuing a module review of your current mods from where you left off in your last post please?

Hi! Sure, I could do that but there isn't that much to update because I'm on exchange this sem and won't be taking any NUS modules
