At my school there was a competition to cook the best meal and the prize was £1000, I made a Coq Au Van and spent the best part of £100 on the ingredients and they disqualified me but I used wine but how can you make Coq Au Van without red wine? I was furious. Can you see why?

When you are home alone do you lock the bathroom/toilet door (or however way you call it) out of habit? Because i do and then i'm like... ehh. No ones where house is all locked up anyway.... anyway. My bathroom , has had no functioning lock for as long as I've been back here ~ 23 years ~ never been a problem , nobody ever been embarrassed , nobody ever complained . . .
~ and that includes ten year period when there was literally dozens of kids in the house ; nor now that V's here .
~ girls , at teens , +/- , always go in 2's . . .
~ I've never entered a bathroom with a closed door , without knocking, waiting . . . . then calling out entering cautiously . . .
Anybody who's visited more than once know I require the bathroom door wide open when not in use ~ most don't need told . . .

~ I've never had a problem with accepting mistakes . . . . for an awfully long time ~ if ever . . . . there is no logic in denial or pretence of facts
~ the only people I've ever encountered , who try to make a big mockery & 'put-down' , over a mistake/error of judgement/misunderstanding ~ have been the utterly stupid (apart from peers having a laugh)
~ in the former (the stupid-ignorant) , you can console yourself: "well , today I learnt something ; & that bozo will always be stupid" . . .
~ this can be an irritation when you're 'young & moving up' ~ esp. 12-14 yr old . . . . as I recall , starting work p.t. . . .
