Each department's quota is different, usually within 20 members.
Can you explain the difference between corporate communications and events department? they sound similar to me.
The Events department plans and execute events while CC source for speakers, sponsorships, and etc. for these events.

Yes, our intake strictly follows the recruitment period. Our work year ends around mid-January so we do not recruit members after the 2nd recruitment in September!
Hi does Trading and research also teach us how to valuate between companies and also pitch stock like in SMF (investment)?
T&R has plans to focus on some fundamentals of valuating a company, but not stock pitching. Stock pitch is unique to SMF because they do prepare for competitions like the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
I am keen to join the Trading and Research. However, I do not have any prior trading knowledge and I just know some basic technical analysis terms(Trendline, MACD, Fibonacci, RSI). Would you recommend that I give the CCA a try or should I built up more on my knowledge before joining?
Since you're really keen, why not put in your best application! Do use online resources to build up your knowledge in the question(s) you intend to do for the assignment. Strengthen your answer with depth. Don't give up!
How much time do I need to commit per week?
One meeting per week, for most departments. You can find the meeting day(s) in the Recruitment Messages posted on our Facebook page!

T&R members will be doing research and sharing insights with each other, testing their trading strategies and documenting them in report form. CC is at the forefront of communications with corporates. They create proposals and pitch to corporate partners about potential event collaborations and sponsorships. The SMF (Investment) provides trainings on financial analysis skills and various valuation methods. Members will be trained for stock pitches to recommend hold/buy/sell decisions for Singapore-listed stocks.
