{ basically i have to write a short story for my english language coursework and i'm finally getting somewhere with it, but it's so so sad
it's about this fifteen year old boy with a seven year old brother, and their mum is really depressed because her husband/their father works with the army in afghanistan and the older brother has to explain to his little brother where is father is, and he's always late for school because he's too busy making life easier for his little brother and he's failing all his classes, and when he buys his brother's advent calendar the little one asks 'santa' for a bike for christmas, and obviously the older brother can't afford it and he says it's unlikely to happen, but then on christmas day their dad comes back home and brings the bike and it's going to be so cute and i'm going to cry }
