Ever make impulse-buys? If so, which was your best one? Your worst?

Yes I do. One example of a good one was, I was at Hot Topic yesterday and they had a Mabel Pines plush I'd been eyeing in Amazon, and even at $15 I bought it up.
One of the worst things I bought was a really cheap Composite to HDMI converter. It was sort of impulse. Anyway the picture quality was horrendous and I regretted the purchase.

What is something about yourself that you always follow up with "I'm weird, I know" when talking about it?

I feel I say that a lot, but in a variety of situations. Particularly when I describe to people some of my decisions or habit. Mostly people question my limited range of foods I consume, which I can only answer with "I'm weird, I know".

What is something you used to not think of twice, but now can never go back to?

Story time: Long ago (Chrismas '04?) when I got my first Game Boy Advance SP, I was very reckless with it. I'd literally flip it on and off repeatedly for no reason I can recall. Eventually doing that broke the screen, so I got a new GBA SP. Wish I didn't break my original one but it is what it is. Now I am very conscious when I turn on or off a GBA.

Region locked GCN with region locked DVD playback, or Laserdisc player with awful composite video only. As much as I love the GCN, I'd go with the laser active.

Frick, I forgot about the Hyperscan and its infinite suckage. (thanks @J2xp) So, rather be stuck with a Game Com or Hyperscan?

Hyperscan has 5 games broken scanner, and week long load times. Where as Game Com has more, but they all suck because the screen. I'd say Game Com purely for number of games, and the ability to save phone numbers.

I'd plug the Hyperscan into the Game Com which causes reality to collapse in on itself due to the shear consecration of suckage in one place.
