It happens often in UK, really? I thought it was like some sub culture. Would you wear one, for halloween or with your friends?

Okay maybe not often, but I've seen it enough to not be freaked out. No, I wouldn't. I'd rather be a princess for halloween :-)

I see okay thanks for the advice! I just have to find the right underwear to go with the dress so its doesnt spoil the look. Do you think black or white heels are better?

No prob. Black heels would be playing it safe but white would be really nice if your bag/jewellery don't clash with it

Did you have other reasons for choosing Cambridge? If you dont mind sharing?

To be honest I didn't think I would stand a chance and initially applied only cause more than half my year did and my tutor encouraged me to. Chose Cambridge because I'd done a law taster course there and really liked the place. It's a fantastic school, especially for law.

Is that one of the reasons why you chose to go overseas for uni instead of staying in SG?

Definitely. And I was already studying in the UK so it wouldn't make sense to go home for uni

You are ok with the bare back and slits at the side? How would you accessorize that dress? I'm thinking of wearing that for prom!

Sure why not! It's prom anyway, time to let your hair down (literally maybe). I'd get a colourful chunky necklace to add some colour and maybe carry an outstanding clutch as well.

Whats the main difference between SG and Cambridge in terms of school culture?

Cambridge is a lot more like Singapore than other UK schools, or at least that's what I think. It can get really stressful in both, but the main difference is that I don't think people in cbg are competing with each other and trying to stress each other out. The stress just comes from themselves, wanting to do better. Plus it's not a bell curve which really helps - people are willing to help each other out.

for what occassion would you wear skin colour stockings?

when i've got a nice dress that would look weird with black tights but it's too cold

i meant in cambridge. do you prefer skin colour stockings or black ones?

yes because it's cold then. usually black.

do you wear them because it is cold or because it is part of an attire?

stockings for work, you mean? cold and also so my legs don't look as gross

Do you prefer a one piece monokini or bikini

I've never actually tried a monokini before but I heard it gives you pretty weird tan lines

surely getting into relationships other than for the purpose of something permanent makes it kinda pointless though ? because theyre not exactly easy

hmm sure though I think some people get into them even though they can see an end in sight, just cause they really wanna give it a shot.

do you wear a lot of stockings in cambridge? compared to sg

stockings and tights yup. I only wear stockings (really thin ones) in Singapore when I'm working e.g. internships

what sort of future do you mean? and surely those couples that you mentioned are more exceptions than the rule ?

Future as in it's not a short term fling? And yeah, they are the exception but it's nice to know they exist anyway.

have you ever thought of the perhaps fleeting nature of young love? just what i think of course, but it also seems to be the case that the vast majority dont work out. do you get into a relationship with the ultimate intention of marrying ?

of course I have, and I personally think that the younger you are, the higher the probability that its just infatuation. That being said I have heard of couples who met when they were like 14/15 and are still together. I only get into relationships if I see a future, but I don't usually think about marriage, not immediately anyway.

Have you ever been secretly jealous of someone despite being quite financially well off yourself?

Good question. I'd say yes, I've been envious of people better off than me. But it's usually just a momentary thing like "wow I wish I had that", it has never affected me.
