Hey man so I'm also doing someproducing on the side when I'm not doing homework. I make some music for my buddies who like to rap over them. My question is how do you make that kick drum so recognizable and clear in your songs? The drum track doesn't clash with the sample which is always amazing.
i usually compress the kicks or just use a low pass filter to make it stand out more

its basically having a meeting with God and once you're face to face to him/her, he/she tells you that you are him/her and your soul is one with him/her and everything is gonna be alright. after that he/she then teaches you how much of a beautiful being you are & how fucking graceful nature is (most people would then proceed to go and kiss the earth after the trip). he/she showers you with this waterfall of pure love & happiness and this is something only a few of us experience. :)
