Ask @jess_girlgerms:

Who had the most positive influence on you?

Corny as it sounds? My parents. My Dad was the reason I got into IT. He was never a "follow in my footsteps" kind of person, but when I picked up an interest in it, he was incredibly supportive.
My mother is a different story - she's the reason I'm as staunchly feminist as I am. She was the one who said that I can do whatever I wanted and to not let anything hold me back. She's where I get my stubbornness from - though I'd like to think it's slightly diluting a little through the generations! I don't think I'd be the kind of person I am - strong-willed, forthright, open - if it wasn't for her.

What is the scientific name of the germs you are infected with? Are you trying to steal Typhoid Mary's thunder?

Colin Scott
There isn't a scientific name for it. I refer to it as "The purpleness". Being near me for extended periods of time means you will slowly develop a craving for purple things...or purple things will just start appearing near you.
Typhoid Mary can keep her thunder. Mine's not infectious in quite the same way. Also, I'd like to think I don't cause *death*. At least not involuntarily...

If we could convert rage into electricity how many houses could we power by plugging you into the grid. And are you renewable?

Colin Scott
Would depend on rage level at the time. I would think at least 3-4 houses, easily. I am renewable - just need to get me worked up about something. Saying women belong in the kitchen, using the incorrect plural of Lego, having religious bias when it comes to operating systems, trying to install Windows Server 2003 (or earlier!) in my environment...there are *many* ways.
