I'm currently away from home for 5 days and everything I need is in one small back pack. Five sets of underwear, five T shirts, pyjamas, washing kit, and that's about it. I wouldn't normally change my T shirt every day, but I'm going to three gigs which will probably be a bit hot and sweaty.
I *think* I saw you in a film the other day, Funny Cow, as an extra playing a nurse/orderly near the end of the film, but it was very brief, like half a second, so I could easily be wrong.
That depends how you define "end". It will never disappear completely, but if enough people get vaccinated and keep upto date with their boosters then it will fade into relative insignificance.
Do you prefer physical books, e-books, or audiobooks?
Most of the books I read have pictures, diagrams and tables in them, and e-books often don't work very well for those, especially if the user of colour is important.I did have an e-reader for a while, until it broke, and I was quite happy with that compared to normal books for reading fiction.I've never listened to an audio book .
Animals should never be killed for sport. However, sometimes it is necessary to cull them for purposes of conservation. For example, wild deer have no predators in the UK, so their numbers easily expand rapidly to the point where there's not enough food and they all starve, and culling is the only solution. As they are wild animals, not farmed, that can only be controlled through hunting.
Do you ever wish that askfm would bring back the option to disable shout-outs?
I wish it would just disable all shoutouts so that people actually had to work to establish relationships and friendships. Quality over quantity every time.
What's one of your favourite movies?
Everytime I get asked this I say "Life of Brian" and give a different quote from the film. I'm running out of quotes....(Do you want to buy some...) Stones, sir?Naah. They've got lots there (at the stoning), lying around on the ground.Oh, not like these, sir. Look at this. Feel the quality of that. That's craftsmanship. All right.... Two with points, two flats, and a packet of gravel.
My wrist when I tripped over a curb while flying a kite in the street, when I was about 9 or 10, and a rib or two a couple of years ago when I came off my bike on some slippery ground
🤔 Remember when: In you Ask inbox, you could press a button for random questions generated by Ask? Ah, those were the days… Shoutouts took over that too. :/
They were mostly rubbish questions, but at least it meant that new users had something to fill their page with before they started communicating with other people. They should bring that back.
As a chef and businessman I'm sure he's great. His whole attitude kinda sucks, but in that business it's necessary really. I think some of it is just put on for the cameras, but he cares a lot about his craft and understandably gets annoyed when others let him down. When you see him in other environments he's a much more normal human being.
Just to clarify. I’m not sure if I’m still vip or not but my questions today weren’t sent out as part of filling the weekly numbers. They just popped in my head while I was scrolling (I’m not presuming that that answer was aimed at me, I’m just letting you know that that’s not why I sent them) 😂
(this is NOT directed at you nurulhuda)Don't think I haven't noticed that many VIP's send out all their questions on a Monday because they are just fulfilling a quota. The same people rarely, if ever, click like or reward any of my answers because they simply don't even read them. I'm not going to play this game anymore and in future I will delete all spammed questions that are received from VIPs on Mondays.
Buenas noches.Thoughts....We don't get the life that we deserve, we get the life that we think we deserve. If you don't think that you deserve to succeed, then it is unlikely that you will. Lack of confidence in your own worth is the greatest barrier to achievement.
