5 songs you recommend everyone listen to
LOOK AT ME, CLEARLY NOT CHECKING MY ASK.FM 8D A month late, but here we go.
In no particular order, 5 songs I would recommend everyone listen to:
♪ Out of the Blue - Hips Don't Lie: This was the song that introduced me to Out of the Blue, an a capella group made up of boys from Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, and I maintain it is one of the most glorious things to ever have existed.
♪ FictionJunction - Parallel Hearts: If you couldn't tell from my first recommendation, I'm a massive fan of anything that involves harmonies, and FictionJunction's Parallel Hearts hits all of my sweet spots. It also doubled as the opening of one of my most favourite anime/manga series ever, Pandora Hearts.
♪ Younha - My Song and...: Younha sang two versions of this song, in two different languages on two different albums (one of which I own, the other I shall never own /sadfaces forever), and hands down, I think this is one of the most precious songs in existence in a long list of precious Younha songs.
♪ VIXX - Error: This was the song that got me into VIXX, and really, for me, this song ticked all the boxes for me. Harmonies, check. Musical sense, check. Cinematic MV, check. What more could I have asked for as my gateway into St☆rlight-dom?
♪ Mayday - Cheers: This song has a very special place in my heart, it's a song that my father and I shared, but beyond the sentimental value of this song, it's just a /very good song/. Mayday has created some of the most iconic songs in the Chinese music industry, and this is one of very many.
