no. I've talked to someone before and I have come to realise that confessing is sometimes a selfish act because it only gives you an outlet for emotional catharsis at the expense of someone else having to deal with a surprising piece of news that could compromise their own relationships, in addition to having to protect your feelings. it's just a transfer of burden honestly and If you really liked someone you would make their life as carefree as possible
