palm grip (at low dpi) or claw grip (at high dpi)? which one favors speed and which one favors accuracy and with enough practice, can one of those style favor both?
The trend is certainly to use claw grip for higher dpi which really makes sense considering how a claw grip and 450 dpi would get me practically nowhere on the screen, unless I move my arm like I always do.Palm grip is typically a grip for speed, but it's not necessary to have a low dpi in order for it to work well enough. Not having playing with a clawed grip for years, I still believe low dpi palm grip (400-1000 dpi) is better than claw (800+ dpi) with enough practice.
How do you click on your mouse when playing osu without losing accuracy? Did you spend the same amount of time practicing clicks as Z,X?
To avoid losing accuracy you need a grip that allows you to move index/middle finger freely without affecting movement aka palm grip. This involves using only arm to move vertically. Add hundreds of hours of practice and that gives you the sufficient control.I probably have spent more time practicing z,x because I'm so bad at it. Clicking just came naturally to me.
Do you think there are better mouses and mouse pads out there better than the one that you are using that will help you improve in osu? even if improvements are minuscule.
I think that the old fragged edition of the one I'm using was much better, but maybe that's because I used it for nearly 2 years.Maybe I should try out the new pads from Mionix.
Why not the razer goliathus speed edition?
it makes my aim worse
Hey,
I was wondering. What mouse dpi do you use? What screen resolution do you use when playing osu? The mouse sensitivity in osu? What kind of mouse and mouse pad are you using?
How can you improve on mouse skills vs tablets from an accuracy point of view. (for example scoring 100% on airman)
450 dpi and all other settings are default. Using 1366x768 widescreen windowed. My mouse is Mionix Naos 5000 - been using that for 1,5 years and it has worked really great for me. My current mouse pad is a razer goliathus control extended edition. I found tablet way easier to improve my skills with and from that I learned jumps before I went back to mouse. If you want to do well on airman, don't use a mouse. Getting 100% is irrelevant because only 1 player can do that. Tbh I don't really care about those super hard maps. Most tablet users can't do them either.
Why did you closed your ask.fm ?
because too much bullshit and tildes
How do you feel about your owc team's performance against China, and how do you think you're going to dø later in the tournament?
I'm hoping not to dø later in the tournament xD We did well, especially CXu and GN. I've got lots to prove, though :(
So new mouse or pad or what~~~??
well yeah 1 month ago
Even with years of playing ? like 5-6 or more
it doesn't matter how many years you play. Either you are genetically fit to play like cookiezi, or you're like the rest of us and can still become good players but not necessarily cookiezi level.
Do you think there's a skill limit for everyone ?
Yes, absolutely. Would be pretty foolish to think we could all become the next Cookiezi given X amount of time.

Best Gumi map. Manten's version is the best one.
