I know this isn't a question but I just wanna say thank you for being a smash player. You're one of the players that really inspire me to play smash! :D
Sooo I've seen you multiple times at events and even played once against you. I was thinking of approaching you later for friendlies/autograph/MM but I had no idea how to approach you and what to say. Generally when one wants to ask you for friendlies/MM/Hangouts how should one do it?
You kick ass at Apex man. You have been practicing really hard, and I'll know you will kill it at beast. You try to be honest and real, but it sometimes blows up in your face. Just remember that constructive criticism is not just what you say but how you say it. It shouldn't matter, but it does.
I get if you want to leave the community due to the nature of your position, it can't be too nice. But honestly as a spectator, having someone that isn't nice for the sake of being nice and says exactly what they're thinking, especially when they back it up, is super entertaining and I'll miss it
Thanks. It's just very rough to actually be the guy who says exactly what you're thinking, because it makes you extremely vulnerable and you lose A LOT off personal gain on it. A lot of people think I'm childish, mean, toxic, even people close to you as well as sponsors. I don't know if I can bother being that guy anymore, because while I often overextend, my efforts/sacrifices are largely dismissed as "just creating drama".
But are you EVER going to catch up in experience and playtime? Like you said they play Smash for a living.
Eh, just look at my improvment already. I'm not even trying to be biased, but look at my past records, lack of experience/playtime wasn't enough to keep me from jumping to top 5 in 2014. I don't even think I NEED to catch up in playtime or experience, I'll be the best soon anyway, it'd just be the cherry on top :>
I agree that maybe you could be top 3, but it's silly to say Mango and M2k wouldn't take a game off of you, they're very naturally talented while others worked really hard to compensate for that, if they played the same amount as you it wouldn't be as much of a slaughter as you would think :P
Well, let's see. Armada/M2K/Mango all started playing competitively in 05, 5 years before I even started. Then add the fact that they've attended far more tournaments and put in more hours even after I started, and they all play Smash for a living aswell. Then add the fact that I was banned for an entire year, and then close it out with how low level my practice partners are/have been.In my honest opinion, taking all that and then comparing our results, I think it's clear that it's going to be a god damn slaughter once I catch up in experience and playtime.
What do you think is what makes the five gods better than you. Experience? Talent? Practice? Mindgames? Tech Skill? A combination of everything?
A combination of a few small thing as the result of my severe lack of experience and time spent playing made 4 of them place better in 2014. If I had played half as much as any of the gods they wouldn't take a game. You'll see in 2015.
3 months ago you said black was your favorite color. 1 month ago you said Grey. Does I t change often? Which is the truth?
Both were true at the time. I just get bored easy, and colors don't evolve or change, so it becomes less interesting with time. I don't understand why this is seen as weird, I never put a ring on black ;]
How often do you need to redye your hair? Do you just do it at home? I just want to know because I might want to have a hairstyle like yours and I'm worrying about how hard it would be to maintain.
