OMG TOTES
kay Hunger Games duh
-"Maximum Ride" is a sassy teen book with cool fight scenes. not so much of a classic-y-book. but awesome. The rest of the series (at least the 1st five books) is gr8 too :)
-OMG "13 Reasons Why" is a great book. Overall kinda dark theme, but not in individual scenes. It has a hope-invoking ending.
-I like "In 27 Days" on wattpad. It's online, if you don't know what wattpad is.
www.wattpad.com . go.
-Unlike many others in chem honors, I actually like my chem project book: "A Red Herring Without Mustard"
It's a really fun and interesting read with bits of chemistry thrown in. MURDER MYSTERY :) I'm not even through half of it, but i SO want to go back and finish it, cause it's goooood :) SUSPENSEFUL.
-If you like classics, "Pride and Prejudice" is a go-to...I liked it. Not LOVED, but that's just cause I'm not that classic-y. It was good, though, and a lot of my friends fangirl about it, so...
-Despite my un-classic-y-ness, for lack of a better phrase, I really liked the classic "Of Mice and Men" that I read last year in English class.
-For quirky, cute, interesting stories, I suggest the author "thenifoundfivedollars" on fictionpress.
Here's a link. go.
http://www.fictionpress.com/u/586077/thenifoundfivedollars (^Most have romantic themes or sub-themes, though. Of course, the romance doesn't take up much of the actual story or detract from the other cool themes, like adventure and humor).
-If for some reason, you're already really sad about life and feel like making yourself more sad and wallowing in self-pity (I DON'T KNOW WHY I DO THIS), here's a story that made me cry:
http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2922904/1/Go-FigureIDK WHY BUT IT'S A GREAT WALLOWING STORY. READ IT MULTIPLE TIMES AND WEEP. but you must already be sad to a certain degree. And preferably be a girl so you can turn feminist.
-"Confessions of a Murder Suspect" by James Patterson. I haven't read it, but I read the 10 or something chapter preview online and it was TOTALLY interesting. It also has great ratings online and I really want to read it soon.
-Hmmmm...I can't stop, LOOOOL. When I was a kid- CORRECTION, when I was a YOUNGER kid than I am now, like 7 yrs old, I used to read a lot of Enid Blyton. And even now, her books about British schoolgirls are fun and quirky, though I don't read them much (lack of time). Except when she ALWAYS makes the occasional American transfer student a totally vain airhead. EVERY TIME. I don't think she likes Americans, lol.
But, yeah. and feel free to ask again if you've read some or all of these :)
Hope I helped!
