how many hours of sleep do you get?
The # of hours aaaaaaaalways changes
What time do you usually sleep? I aim for 12 but that never happens...
Sadly...I almost never come close to this bed time. Between freelance work, producing music, etc, sometimes 7 am. The general spot is anywhere between 2-5 am. Then I need to finally "fall asleep", which takes another good half hour.
How tall are you? My guess is 5'10
No idea, been many years since I've measured my height!
How do I learn how to play complicated Periphery songs if I'm not that good at guitar? should i go through the song really slow or should i practice general exercises first?
Definitely do both. Start off with exercises, get warmed up, then slow down songs, even if its a lot. I would slow down AAL songs by like 40 bpm when learning them to be sure I hear notes clearly seeing as Tosin obviously plays fast. Trains your ear pretty well ;)
hey Mike can you rate my facial physique? Pic: http://i2.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/003/047/omg.jpg
Man you're so far ahead of me
WTH 10 classes at the same time? You are a god
College can be brutal =/
Do you do any coding?
I've done a tiny bit, don't remember much! I would basically consider myself a complete beginner at this point.
Do you ever not play guitar for a few weeks when you're busy?
Yup, especially in college. Had to be done, I mean I had 10 classes going at the same time on top of personal life stuff, while training and trying to do some freelance.
don't worry brah i already sent plini your resumé he should contact you in no time
Hahaha well thanks then! I look forward to talking to him when the time comes.
How many selfies of your pecs are on your phone?
Absolutely none, like I said in my other answer, I don't even enjoy seeing myself lmao.
Were you born in the 90's?
Early 90s yep
you're my guitar hero and hero in general
Thanks ;) very appreciated it. Hopefully I'll be able to only keep up that positivity!
psst! now is a good time to make friends! http://ask.fm/plinimusic/answer/120465918701
haha very appreciated, but I'll let his and my world meet naturally ;) I had a chance to listen to some more of his songs though, very cool indeed!
Would you rather change gender every time you sneeze, or not be able to tell the difference between a muffin and a baby?
Number 2 I guess...or else training would be very odd if I went with number 1 haha
Are you more introvert or extrovert?
I'd say ambivert, I used to be very shy and "contained", wasn't really "good" for me. Then again, I can't stand it sometimes when people are too "out there". I think a balance between the two is good ;)
don't be afraid, it's just communication
<3 so good
Whut projects are you currently working on?
So many, some I can say, some I can't ;) SO, to sum up and sadly give a boring answer, you'll see in time!
i haven't been to the gym in years and forgot how all of the machines work. who do i ask?
Oh very simple, the people that look over the gym explain everything you need. There should be at the very least one person at a desk or walking around the gym to make sure everything is up and running. Feel free to ask that person, there's no shame in doing this at all. Or sometimes when I want to try something new I simply look at the machine, or look it up online, and try it out haha. Exploring is actually really fun, makes you want to incorporate more in your training routine.
Interested in maybe collaborating with a random person from a random place in the world, perhaps someone who might wanna work on some drum tracks for some of your original songs? :D
I'm definitely not against meeting "random" people, hence one end of my job as a designer ;) But as much as I'd like to, now's really not the best time, a lot of things happening for me right now that I'm just not/ cannot say. So I'm keeping super busy. A big thank you for offering your skill though, even though I can't take it right now I do appreciate it!
whats your greatest fear?
Not being able to accomplish my very specific goals in life. I have some veeeery specific ones that I need to get to before this life is over!
THIS IS EVOLUTION http://www.evolutionfresh.com
Can't be true, it needs some skyharbor on it! haha
how do u get all the girls lol
Just focus on one girl man!
How many weeks of working out did you do before you noticed any significant difference?
I hate to give the boring answer, but seeing as I've always been physically active, I never really thought of it. Especially with workout I'd be going on and off because of school, work, etc. But finally the past few months I've been going constantly, and if anything I do feel like there's been a more significant change lately. So to try to answer you, give it at the very least several months, not 2-3, like at least half a year or something. That is...if you go often, not much will change if you only go once or twice per week or become lazy at the gym. Gotta go all in! Hope that helps.
Do you use Elixir strings? They last forever
Not usually, I've been using d'addarios most of the time. But I've always thought of eventually going with both, I've tried Elixirs before. I'm someone who really doesn't care the for specifics in guitars, guitar playing, etc. But even I could admit those strings can last through a friggin' apocalypse!
How often do you change strings on the 8?
Rarely as of late, I haven't been using my 8 string too much lately. Nothing against it at all, but with freelance work, side projects for music, I now even have Native Instruments' new keyboard which I've been using a lot, etc. I just haven't been on it too much. But that will change once I get back to full-on writing mode for my main album.
Or else, even when I play it a lot, I don't change the strings too often (same goes for my 6 strings) cause 1, I'm not endorsed by a company for strings, it would honestly be a waste of money for me to keep changing the strings. When you write music, regardless of whether the strings are new or old, at least you can still write. Which is why I don't change them too often, once in a while for fun or if I'm doing final tracking for a song.
Hope that helps ;) I USED to change my strings so much, I wanted to cause I'd play 10 hours a day, but it came out to a waste of money.
