There is no on real good question. Ask any questions where the response cannot be answered with yes or no. Listen and respond to their answer with another question or statement that will open the door for them to respond For example... me-“where are you from?” Her-“Chicago” me-“I’ve never been there, what’s it like?”...and the conversation continues.
Be careful to avoid asking questions that can be answered with one word. Also avoid saying anything that the person cannot relate to. Have a conversation, listen and respond.
