Aslam Alikum, Is it strong or weak hadith? Many non-muslims say if you love someone at first sight or if you are friendly with someone like relatives or other people, you were in good souls in Aalame Arawah. Source: sunnah.com Reference : Sahih Muslim 2638a In-book reference : Book 45, Hadith 204

there are some commentaries done on this hadith.
Imām al Qurṭubī, commented on the ḥadīth:
“Although they are all souls, they differ in different ways, so a person will feel an affinity with souls of one kind, and will get along with them because of the special quality that they have in common. So we notice that people of all types will get along with those with whom they share an affinity, and will keep away from those who are of other types. We may also note that within any given group or type, people may get along with some and dislike others, and this is in accordance with issues or qualities that form the basis of love or hate.”
One way to look at it is, When we say about getting along with another person, this may happen because of something in common between them that Allāh has created. Probably there are similar characteristics or attributes that Allāh has created in us, or that they were created in a group in the world of the souls and then dispersed in their bodies, so people who have similar characteristics will like one another.
Also there are many more narrations which are similar to this and explain the subject further. I am sharing some narrations which will help.

Can we send our fitrana overseas or give to poor or we need to give in jamaat?

we need to give through the system which is established for us. Try to understand through the life of holy prophet and khulafa rashideen, could any muslim at that time refuse to follow the system. Their zakat and sadaqat al fitr were collected through the nizam in place. However, if you would like to help more people also around you or in different countries, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. You will find that many companions of the holy prophet were taking care of poor families and orphans along with the contribution of sacrifices established through their system of zakat and khilafat.

What exactly are responsibilities of children towards their parents?

the holy quran speaks of our responsibilities towards parents. Most emphasis is in their elderly age when they need support. We should not consider them a burden but a blessing and grace from Allah, that he has given us the opportunity to return the favours which they bestowed upon us in our childhood.

an ahmadi can become a politician, president, or prime minister based on the criteria of their country and place. They can serve humanity through any position they achieve in this world. There are many who serve in different positions and can seek guidance from huzur e anwar on their personal and individual level.

How many Ahmadies are there globally in 2024? As per some searches on Internet, there is no exact no. rather it's approximation. Can you elaborate?

We will always have approximation only, because there is no compulsion in faith. Infact if you were to search the the population for any religion or sect, you will only get an estimation or probability.

Assalamualaikum, What is the rulings for Lailatul Qadr? Do we have to sleep and then wake up in the middle of night and then pray tahajjud... That's how we can make dua in Lailatul Qadr or let's say, we pray all night of a part of night without sleeping and sleep after Fajar, can this work as well?

Laylatul Qadr also has a significant meaning to each and every believer as it is a night in which a believer can benefit from great blessings. In a reported hadith the Holy Prophet(sa) said:
‘’Whoever establishes the prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards (not to show off) then all his past sins will be forgiven.’’ (al-Bukhari, Vol.1, Bk.2, No. 34)
In another hadith the Holy Prophet(sa) advises as to when one should seek Laylatul Qadr saying:
‘’Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan’’ (Al-Bukhari, Vol.3, Bk.32, No. 234)
The Promised Messiah(as) is known to have said that should the 27th night of Ramadan fall upon a Friday then through Allah’s (swt) Grace this will often be Laylatul Qadr.
In light of the above blessed narrations it is incumbent on each believer to increase his or her worship (Ibaada) during the last ten days of Ramadan and pray sincerely that they may benefit from the fruits of Laylatul Qadr and have all their previous sins forgiven, Insha-Allah [God Willing]. Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V(aba) delivered a Khutbah on the subject of Laylatul Qadr (14 Nov, 2003) where he emphasised the need for each believer to pay special attention to not only the last ten nights of Ramadan but indeed to every night. Huzoor(aba) indicated that one reason behind the ambiguity of which night Lailatul Qadr falls upon is to ensure that believers spend all of the last ten nights in Ibaada and do not simply ritualise one appointed night.
In further explanation of this subject Huzoor(aba) added that the Holy Prophet(sa) said whoever offers all their prayers during the month of Ramadan in congregation gleans a large portion of Laylatul Qadr. Therein is the significance that in order to experience this night one must maintain the highest standard of righteousness through out the month, paying the dues of Allah(swt) and the dues of mankind.
Huzoor(aba) explained that although certain ahadith signify the appearance of signs (like flashes of light) to verify that one has experienced Laylatul Qadr, these signs are not obligatory to Laylatul Qadr. Indeed the Holy Prophet(sa) would gather immense resolve and determination at the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, spending these days in worship of God of the highest and most excellent eminence. He enjoined us to profusely engage in remembrance of Allah during these days, to glorify Him and to exalt His greatness.

Aslam Alikum Brother, During Sehri, I sometime cook everything by myself for myself, and it sometimes gets late, I heard we can fast in easy and if possible can extend a bit of time as well, for how much time is it possible or maybe it's not permissible in the first place, please let me know.

it is ok if you were a bit late in preparation of your meal, you can finish your meal and keep the fast. However it’s important to remember that this is permitted in exceptional cases. That one day you were a bit late getting up and had to make preparations yourself. We cannot be doing this every day, or else we won’t benefit from attaining spiritual discipline, which is also a purpose of this holy month. Try to wake up a bit earlier so you are able to complete your meal in time.

It is very common to see couples falling out of love and then decided to split and divorce. What does islam say? Is it better to stay in marriage and remain miserable for the rest of your life?

every couple have their obstacles and difficulties that they face at different times. Both have to communicate and learn to understand the other. Understanding your partner will help you in becoming more selfless and caring towards her. Smallest of gestures of kindness will help you both. If going through a rough patch, go out together for a weekend or perhaps just a nice dinner. Make her feel important in your life, while appreciating her. We should think about it from the perspective of our parents, like all parents they must have made selfless sacrifices for our upbringing and happiness. If they hadn’t, then perhaps our lives would have been different also. We need to try to understand the sanctity of marriage, its much more than just phisical attraction or falling in and out of love. For a better understanding you should speak to someone and acquire guidance in marriage life. You are very welcome to approach me or anyone else you feel comfortable talking to.

Is it okay to read Quran on mobile phones as it seems very convenient.

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ
You should try your best to recite quran in its actual book form when stationed or at home. However if you are traveling or you are not home then its ok to recite from phone also.

When i am in the office, i go to the meeting room and pray on a chair. Or pray on a bench when outside. Doing this for a long time now. It just feels not right when i am praying on a chair as it is not like we normally do. Is it ok to continue this and not request for special prayer arrangement?

Answer by Murabi Ahmad Nadeem:
You should definitely do your best to pray in the proper manner as taught by our beloved Prophet. Only in some situations there are exceptions. ie; if sick, or injured, or travelling, etc. we should always make a proper arrangement for prayers. Try to find any place of seclusion and offer your prayer there.

What are your thoughts on Self inquiry Meditation (please google if you don't know). Personally, I don't find it contradicting with Islam and Ahmadiyyat. I find it helpful in keeping me relaxed and aware of my own self at a much deeper level. Helps me when i pray 2. Anything to be concerned about?

It is forbidden to permanently remove the ability to produce offspring for a man or a woman, which is what is known as sterilization

Assalamualaikum. If a child at the age of his that he doesn't have the sense of religion regardless if he is 15 and he is not muslim and just follows what his parents teach him about other religion but not islam. If he passes away, are we allowed to pray for him?

yes you can pray for him

its best to approach local secretary rishta nata who will then get help through national secretary and provide particulars from any place or country .

Love of country or nation is part of faith. Therefore Any sacrifice for or towards ones country is an admirable act and the reward is with God as He pleases.

Whilst growing up, our emotions pass through different stages of development, and sometimes we may experience feelings of infatuation or attraction towards the other gender or other things. Such feelings should not be mistaken for true love.

as the tradition of the holy prophet, there is truth in the concept of NAZR. however, it should not be exaggerated as we see today especially in the subcontinent. In short, one meaning is that jealousy and envy of other people which we should always seek protection from Allah. And the other meaning is the art of manipulation of mind through illusion or hypnotism or mesmerism.

How to balance Itaat (obedience) vs speaking up for something that is wrong?

If by wrong you are referring to something against the Quranic commandments or immortalities then it is incumbent to speak up and rectify. However, if by wrong you are referring to a difference in opinion where you think that your notions are more correct. Then you can only mention them as counsel and advise. Without the expectation that they must be applied. Obedience is not easy, the promised messiah mentions that, true obedience is as if a living person’s skin is being torn off. What this means is that we have to slaughter our ego and humble ourselves.

t has to be determined what is your reference towards, when saying incorrect. In short, if it is something administrative related then difference of opinions will always be there. Those in authority should do their best. However, if you are referring to something immoral and/or against shariat (quranic injunctions) then first make sure that your source is not hearsay. If you yourself are a first hand witness to this, then you should first confront that person and advise him. Perhaps you may find a valid justification, or that he may repent. If it continues, then you can give it in writing to your president. Hopefully you have been praying for the person, as for the objective is reformation. We should not spread his faults to other ordinary people, and indeed Allah will cover ours. If the scenario is totally different as mentioned here, then you may contact me and I shall try to help.

try your best to first fulfill all conditions. Such as; Wuzu, intention, purety of mind and place where you are praying. Secondly, reflect upon the words of salat as if you are conversing with Allah. Lastly, keep trying to establish focus even if you keep loosing it.

Why don't we take flowers to people's graves or place on caskets?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
Islam teaches us the essence of every practice in religion. Anything that will take you away from religion and towards the shackles of social norms is forbidden. For example- if instead of flowers the norm today was to put coconuts as sign for respect, then the answer would still be the same from islamic perspective. It is forbidden.

What is Islamic stance on surrogacy?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
if the process involves an individual outside the married couple ( to carry the baby) then it is forbidden. Islam rather promotes the adoption of children especially orphans. IVF is also permissible because the parents would still be biological.

What does Islam say about Intelligence quotient ?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
Islam doesn’t speak specifically on this terminology. However the Islam, holy quran and the books of the promised messiah do effect a person’s intellectual status and abilities.

Can you please elaborate this hadees 'a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity'?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
the hadith is pointing out that when giving in charity, the best way is to be subtle. This will safeguard us from boastfulness and pride. Another explanation is that when you help someone through their financial difficulties, you should not boast about your favours nor should you disclose their afflictions.

After you gym or do any form of physical exercise should one must do wuzu even though that person hasn’t broken the wuzu condition by taking a leak or farting ?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
yes for salat you should do wuzu after exercise. In fact you should shower after such a workout. Because of excessive sweat the body is not clean.

Is any level of alcohol allowed in Islam? Certain ingredients contain minor amounts that would evaporate during cooking, can we use such ingredients?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
Within ingredients for cooking is permissible, however its better to use other ingredients.

Are cats allowed in mosques?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
no animal is permitted in the mosque. Mosques are to be kept clean and pure. This means that you should not deliberately bring any pets or animals in the mosque. But if an animal does enter, just take it outside without harming it.

Should we treat transgender men as men and transgender females as females? Would women do pardah in front of transgender women? Or transgender men? What would be the pardah guidelines for men and women.

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
yes we should treat transgender men as men and women as women. Therefore, the normal pardah guidelines would apply for them also.

Is it permissible to live independently (without partner) after marriage?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
it is not permitted , unless there is a justifiable reason for TEMPORARY separation. For instance, overseas jobs or military/ work postings, etc. however, it is against the sanctity of marriage to not fulfill the rights towards each other as husband and wife. These rights cannot be fulfilled by living independently or separately.

Why is it necessary for a woman to do hajj with a mehram?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
the main reason is guardianship and protection of every women. Hajj is a very difficult process with all its steps which includes the extensive journey towards mecca.

we believe in and follow every hadith which is not contradictory to the holy quran or the sunnah. This is the method explained by the promised Messiah regarding authenticity of any hadith.

How is this phrase pronounced ‎حُسن التّبعُّل And what does it mean, exactly (regarding taking care of one’s husband).

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
it is an expression mentioned by Hazrat Ali (ra) in kalamat e ghesar. It is جهاد المراة حسن التبعل
(Jihad Al mar’atul husn uttaba’ul)
Striving achievement of a woman is to take care of her husband.
Hazrat Ali is emphasizing on the prosperity in family life. For a woman it is to take care of her husband, children, and household. If conduct towards husband is virtuous then the upbringing of children and family will be fruitful.

Is it permissible to touch or kiss your partner while fasting?

Murabi Nadeem sb answer:
yes it is permissible with a married partner

What if your gifted alcohol from your co worker as a muslim are you allowed to accept that as a gift. But are you allow to gift your co workers with alcohol too or is that haram?

no you should not accept alcohol as gift nor should you gift it to others.

Is it true that if one falsely swears on someone's life that person dies soon after?

It is not true.

Are woman allowed to breast feed a child while they are fasting or do they have to break their fast and then breast feed the child?

women who are pregnant or weaning are exempted from fasting.
