Youth policy is basically the specific policies emanated from African states or regional policy-making bodies (including the Regional Economic Communities and the African Union) that address youth issues, ranging from education, employment, health and so on.. However, there is a thinking that we should consider all policies that talk to issues that youth are facing but which are taken into account in broader policies. A simple example include a policy on Economic Governance (which is meant to address how wealth is created and maintained in the state or region to help youth employment generation, etc...)..
