((I also have the Umbra Lovecraft au, which is just food for thought and something to play around with unless it turns out Jest and co are SUPER interested in it, and another project for kicks and giggles which is where I attempt to translate mythological characters into Umbra form))

((I'll try that, and AJ inspired me to make an Umbra au that features the Chaos King as one of the main antagonists, which will hopefully drain me of a lot of OC ideas in the process by incorporating them into it))

((Oh I'm fine with the fandom accounts like Error. I just need the right mindset and interest in him to do that. My biggest challenge on Ask is that I'm distracted easily and eventually get bored with doing the same character all the time, which causes me to seek new characters to keep busy))
(Ah I see. But maybe have a "team" of a few that you can switch between so you don't get bored with each one too quickly. I don't use my Rexbirbs often, but they're there if I need them or am bored of the main 4. Same with the kids)

((I suppose the best thing for me to do is for me to write all of my OCs down on another site and work on them all in private until I'm 100% satisfied with the current version...))
(Write them down, occasionally talk about them and get feedback. The problem is when people, and not just you, lots do this, they take a character they've just invented, use it for a month than it's gone and never mentioned again. That can get confusing and frustrating to other RPers. You have some amazing accounts, I love the Lovecraftian ones, and Undertale ones. Work on those ones for awhile and continue to build them)

((My main problem here and in real life is that I'm not good at explaining myself or my frustrations properly because I never know what to say or how to describe certain things... I'm only human ;-;))

((I flesh out all of my characters eventually, it's just a slow process because I need the right inspiration for each one as well as the correct mindset, etc. Like in my horror OCs for example: I have plenty of them, I just don't want them on Ask because I want them to be part of my videogame career
(And that's fine. I've been working on Opal since I started on ask in 2016sh. She's still changing and evolving. All characters change and evolve. That's why you can't have too many, because they need to grow like people. Opal in 2016 was a completely different person. She's still not a perfect character and never will be, but that's ok. Keep working and building on wht you already have. Many of Jest's characters have been around longer than Opal and they were very very different.)

((Well in Melkor's case, I just came up with him so I only have the character design done... but this is why I'm considering keeping the ones I can portray best while giving the rights to the others away... though like Umbra, ALL of the characters are going to be on the group account))

(I'm not saying that these ideas are bad, I like them, but you need to focus on the ones you've already developed. There's nothing wrong with sharing ideas. There are a lot of similarities to Mikhail, but it doesn't mean there isn't potential. It's just that if you don't focus on that potential, it'll never get off the ground. *hug*)
