I know you have a lot of beautiful designer clothes but do you have any fave cheap places to buy basics? People trash fast fashion but I can’t really afford much atm. I’ve got some good quality 2nd hand stuff tho. What do you think of Top Shop and H&M etc?

I love raiding ebay and depop! A lot of the highstore brands (Superdry, Jack Wills, Joules) have outlets on ebay where they sell off their surplus at 50%/70% off, and as it's all surplus your carbon footprint can rest easy.
But I'm honestly not so much about labels - if it's pretty, I want it, so a couple of my favourite shirts are Topshop and I used to love browsing H&M. The only places I avoided were the Primark/Newlook side of things because there stuff is totally unethical and falls apart so quickly.
But honestly, you do you lovely. I really would recommend the outlet side of things though because you can get seriously good quality stuff at the same price as the much cheaper brands x

Last time you slammed a door? On purpose or otherwise

I slammed my car door a load the other day? The widow motor gave out, and I was all ???!!!!??? because I had three hours to drive on the motorway in a thunderstorm on a bank holiday. And my car is specialist so getting parts is just the worst thing ever.
But it turns out that if you slam the door SUPER hard whilst pulling the window switch, it gives it enough oomph to get the window up. You are so welcome. Follow me for more classic car hacks ✌

Does your name have any specific meaning?

Born at Christmastime! (I was born in mid-July)
But it also means Good Luck, so I tend to gravitate towards that 😂

Where are you going for studying??

I'm done for the time being, haha! I got offered a masters earlier this year, but I'm working 7 days a week as it's right now. I don't think I could fit anything weeks in if I tried 😂

The covid vaccine will have a virus in it that will sterilize humans making it impossible to have children it will be on a genetic level it's so they can stop the population growth if you want to stop it we must find Utopia🤓

Righto. Hey where did you get your tinfoil hat, by the way? I just love it!

What's your secret for always having a positive attitude?

Enough caffeine to raise the dead. And being super grateful for where you are right now.
And if you feel like the world is going absolutely mad, go for a run. It'll chill you out 😂

Are you planning on going black Friday/bank holiday shopping?

I just went to the Gymshark Black Friday (which I swear isn't something that I'd normally do) and sorted myself for gym kit for the next six months. And they have some veeeery nice swimming costumes so if anyone is after workout gear, go grab it 👌

What makes you ignore some questions and answer others?

How quickly I can think of an answer, to be honest. I've got the shortest attention span so if it doesn't happen in five seconds, it ain't happening (is what she said) (Badminton tsCHHH)

You're one of the few people that has endured on here for years. So many others have left. What has kept you here, and what has enabled your page to thrive for so long?

Hahah, I've deleted sO many times 😂 I think it's because I love company - I'm a massive extrovert, and having had my friend group essentially shut down thanks to lockdown its been so nice to stay in touch with people. It's a great place for making you think about things you normally wouldn't, yknow?

I guess so, although I was extremely frustrated that people assumed I backed Hillary Clinton when she was running just because she is a woman. That’s not feminism, but you’re right politics is a nightmare like the old joke “How do you know when a politician is lying? There lips are moving”

We had something really similar over here with Theresa May as PM (for all of, say, ten minutes.)
I mean, she was still getting more headlines for "showing her legs" than anything else, but it was assumed that as a woman fighting for women you should be blindly behind her, 100%.
And that's just not how equality works 🤷‍♀️

No, you can’t be expected to up to date with American politics! But I’m a feminist and not a white one, so seeing Kamala lauded disappoints me tbh. Sure, other PoC may see her and think “that can be me!” but I hope they have better politics!

I guess it's a stepping stone, isn't it? Politics is just a nightmare - I can see why people would go into it and try and create positive change, but it seems that everyone at the top is massively removed from reality.

Kamala Harris fought the release of Daniel Larsen, after courts declared him innocent. Her office fought against the early release of prisoners because "prisons would lose an important labor pool." And opposed a bill that required her office to investigate police shootings :)

I'm very sorry that I'm not 10000% clued up on the background of a vice president that I didn't vote for on account of being English, and that my views are swayed by the media.
