❅░░ ever since eros engaged in a conversation with lucifer, he simply couldn't get the encounter out of his now memory. in a way, eros had felt greatly amazed, to think he met satan, the once great fallen angel ── the one who sharply illuminated his self-generated pride whenever he went. and lucifer was dangerous indeed yet not so aggressive as eros had thought, as he had imagined him to be, lucifer was moderately secret and a calm spirit not grasping in his complexes.

to some extent, eros liked to be around lucifer, and to blame was lucifer's unpredictability, even if it frightened him, eros did savor the unknown that lucifer succeeded to give. once in a while we admire the danger despite hurdle of fear that we may maintain. moving forward. eros was actually quite intrigued with where was lucifer going with all the soulmate situation, was he devoted enough to do as eros told or was he going to resist, he absolutely did not know yet whatever lucifer would do it would do some kind of impact.

❛. . . we should get going too. ❜ eros sighs softly, sharing a rather intimate glance with lucifer as the waiter steps closer to the table. not like eros had anything to do, but he clearly could find something more entertaining than sitting here and blabbering with the fallen angel. eros slightly lower his arm from the table, down on his lap, just to pinch namjoon to signal him to start moving. as lucifer engages in conversation with the mortal, eros slowly moves to the side, almost scooting from the chair he sat on but in midway, he stops.

he stops in his track the moment lucifer decides to carelessly stab the man with a fork ── astonished and panic-stricken is how eros felt. his eyelids widening as his eyes are glued to the hand, where the fork straight up pierced the skin. his hand automatically squeezes, his mind makes up the pain that was never actually there on his hand in the first place. his nails straight up pierce the skin as he curls his hand in a tight ball of a fist. his alerted eyes flickers from the hand to lucifer who suddenly pulls the man to sit beside him.

❛ please stop, you can do that another time. have some dignity ❜ eros quietly murmurs, his voice softly resonating, lucifer did not have to hurt a poor being but then again, it is lucifer so what did eros expected? the man is unpredictable. and just when lucifer makes a comment about namjoon and gives him ᴛʜᴀᴛ glance, eros immediately feels protective, quickly jerking his head to signal namjoon to get the hell out and he does so, quickly executing himself for his own sake.

❛ i hope we understood each other . . . find the mortal, show me it and then do whatever you want with it. ❜ eros announces quickly, not wanting to waste any more time on lucifer, moreover watching him kill a soul that did not do anything. eros vigorously stand up, quickly pulling out the jeans cash to pay for a drink, giving more than needed even in a rush. with a worried look, he looks at the waiter who tries to minimize his rapid breathing, feeling bad for him, but eros knows damn well he can't do any help, it is not his business.❛ you know where to find me. let's see how much time you will need before you find what i need. ❜ eros looks over at lucifer, a small discomfort is written all over eros's face. but that is not with what eros walks out, before disappearing he pulls out of his pocket necklace with an angel figure, the radiating energy is very weak yet it still is there. it's small and silver ── a wonderful clue he gets, but eros doubts he will need it. ❛ cliché ❜ he snorts quietly, before throwing it on the table and gracefully with a hand motion reassures for lucifer to take it. the odor of blood leaking from the hand makes its way into his airways and almost makes eros gag, the metallic smell is very strengthened to his senses and it does not make him feel well. ❛ well then, now i should be going. see you around. ❜ and with that he left, letting lucifer be on his own.

eros is hoping that the brunette locked her eyes with the handsome man, that her right now staring at him is not her actually linking with him. god's companion that sits next to him stares at the female in disbelief, clearly understanding the situation in what both of them are in. as katherine stands up, jungkook's heart starts pounding extremely fast.

eros is calm, he is trained that way, he takes a deep breath as he continues to stare at katherine that comes close to the side where eros and jungkook sits. it is clear to see that katherine has a question to ask and eros hopes that his ass is not busted. i mean, if she saw him pulling out the cupid arrow he still has a medicinal potion that makes you forget things. he will need that quickly, god knows how fast rumors can go around and nab his ass for doing what he does.

accidents like that happen rarely, eros has been caught only once in his lifetime and being caught is not a nice feeling if you have been trying to do it secretly. she comes and stands in front of him, he can see that all of her attention is on him, and he doesn't like it, he wants her to go past him but he knows that will not happen, so he chooses to be polite.

jungkook, the thought of being busted and her knowing that they are not mortal humans scare him, he does not like having close contact with humans, especially female mortals, the thoughts of being this close to a woman makes him uncomfortable. so you get the idea how he was feeling at the moment, and her asking question like that makes him want to stand up and just go away and leave, but he can't.

heartless? eros was never a heartless person.he cared deeply for those who peeked his interest, for those who were close to his heart. eros did not guide people toward death, life events were those who took twists and turns. eros is not responsible for one person's death neither is he for other thousands living on earth.

death can be avoidable if you are lucky and clever enough, but at some point, death comes back around. the situation with lucifer and his soulmate, after eros connects them, what they do to each other is left for themselves to solve. eros has no saying in it and he doesn't really care what happens to them next since it doesn't revolve around him and he has better things to do than watch two love-birds.

' wonderful then, i knew it wouldn't be huge of a problem ' he comments quickly after he hears that lucifer is okay with that, even though he doesn't state it himself. his mood lightening up immediately which you could see in those child-like big eyes of his, he is more than glad to watch lucifer go through the process of searching and doing something.

of course, there is something that eros is not telling lucifer about this, but the less the devil knows the better. lucifer will make a favor for himself without anybody's help, it is satisfying doing the job by yourself and at the end getting the feeling of satisfaction. back to lucifer. eros being in his bubble of thoughts didn't even notice that a glimpse of discomfort is written over lucifer's face until he fell out of it.

what spoke to eros the most was lucifer's eyes and for some unknown reason soon, from god's side came out a faint grin, was he enjoying the way the morning star showed psychological emotions? oh, how he did. something was wrong with lucifer and both namjoon and eros can sense it, but they both won't be able to tell what is wrong with him. lucifer's question about angel blade is left unanswered by both men.

in a moment, lucifer pays no mind to eros, so their dialogue is left somewhere wandering. he's quite and is looking somewhere, making eros follow his gaze just to see a waiter doing something uninteresting to eros and it confuses him. what was lucifer seeing that eros couldn't? lucifer's voice draws eros' attention back to him. ah, right he had to get going. ' indeed. i like your spirit already, so quick to put your hands on something. ' he praises lucifer, although he doubts that lucifer would start to look out for the person in this instant. was the statement about his hands getting dirty a pitfall, some kind of threat? did eros hear right under that utterly small voice of lucifers, at the very moment of lucifer's last intake of breath? ── of course he did, it didn't go completely ignored. although everything was heard, it was acted as if nothing was audible. eros took the statement as a warning.
