She couldn't see the beauty within her
that i saw everytime i saw her lovely face
she hated every inch of herself
and her mind was darker than fresh asphalt
she always thought nobody cared
but i did and repeated it everyday
i tried to get her to put down the blade
and i always filled up her plate
everyday i told her the truth
that she was beautiful all the way through
when she'd breakdown and cry
i'd take her in my arms and hold her tight ❤
But one time i had to go far away and she couldn't come with me
"i'll be alright" she pinky promised me but i didn't knew her fingers were crossed
awhile later i got a phone call
"she's gone"
