Some say that online friendships/relationships tend to be not so deep and superficial for the most part, what do you think?

Before I had much irl friends I had my online best friend, which is still one of the closest friendships I have to this day. People are just judgy

Could you be friends/partner to someone who has stigmatised mental illnesses, Or has a complex history relating to their struggles? Could you look past their previous episodes and still continue to get to know them or is it a deal-breaker something you cannot handle?

Idk if the gifts I get are common, they just get me stuff I like. Like stuffed animals, makeup, decor pieces, books etc
