which one is you and which one is ed

Ed usually gets to play the role of "the guy who knows little about the game". Unless the review is about a fighting game, since he's way stronger than me at those. Unfortunately, everyone says our voices sound the same! I can easily identify my voice in our videos, though...

Play any eushully game before?

No, not yet. I don't have much patience to play Galges with RPG elements. that's also the reason why I stopped playing Evenicle. I always stop playing half-way through or even sooner. Maybe some day in the future!

What do you look forward to most this year?

Since Silent Hills is no more, Metal Gear Solid 5 - The Phantom Pain goes back to be my number one candidate for best game of 2015!

What are your favorite ships/OTPs?

I just love Jacqli/Mir and her whole romance in Croix. There's also Ban and Elaine which is too cute of a relationship. However, my favorite love-story of all time goes to the Meruem x Komugi couple. Their romance is so beautiful and pure!

best marriage game

Are you asking about a Visual Novel that is all about marriage? Or a Galge where everybody talks about marriage all the time? Or just a Dating Sim where the protagonist gets married with one of the heroines at the end? Is it even necessarily a Dating Sim or can I choose from any game genre?
I love Jacqli's (Mir) marriage in Ar Tonelico II. Even though it isn't real, it is still really beautiful!

Out of Xblaze, Liberation Maiden: Sin and Robotics;notes, which game would you say has the "easiest" Japanese? Also, which one is the shortest of the 3 (or are they all about the same length)? Any advice for good VNs/games that aren't TOO taxing on the vocabulary?

Xblaze is pretty easy to understand since, for most part, it is a slice-of-life and the scientific parts are taken directly from Blazblue, so if you're familiar with the elements of this series, it's a pretty easy read (I believe it is also the shortest among those 3).
Both Robotics;Notes and Liberation Maiden Sin have lots of military terms and technobabble so I can't recommend those two games for those who aren't used with the Japanese language yet. Any Visual Novel that is a light-novel/anime to game adaptation should be easy to read. I recommend those made by Guyzware, because they have skilled writters who (usually) capture the spirit of the original story and its characters! http://www.guyzware.jp/

Does it have to be an "Eroge", or it can also be an all-ages title? Does it need to be "good" too? Such a difficult request!
The interactions between Frau and Kai in Robotics;Notes are...different, but it's also pretty much a (one-sided) ichaicha of high-quality!
The latest Bishoujo Mangekyo is filled with ichaichas with two cute robots once you reach a certain point in the story. Totally worth it! (And it has Ero too!)
But if it's ichaicha you want, look no further. You only need to play LovePlus! It reigns supreme at this category!

I usually have a Visual Novel playing on Auto while I play another non-VN game in another console. Which means I essentially play two games at the same time (Although one could argue that a Visual Novel is not a real "game")

Favorite character from the Marvel Universe and favorite character from the DC Universe and why?

My favorite Marvel hero is Wolverine, not only for how badass he is, but because of his long ass backstory that got lots of compelling elements. DC universe has Nightwing, which represented a interesting character development for Robin and it also proved to me that anyone can become badass with good writing.

What is your favorite otome VN?

I've never played one. Probably, the closest thing to a Otome game that I've played was Princess Maker 4, where you can choose who will become your daughter's boyfriend. I also played Summon Night 2 as the female protagonist and made the romantic ending with her male childhood friend, which was pretty nice! But I never played an official Otomege...

Do you consider yourself a Pokemon Master or at least want to be one?

I have plans to play my first Pokemon game soon enough, so it would be pretty cool if I could reach Master level

This is not a fair question, as I'm yet to play a Pokemon game. I don't mean to say I have anything against the series, it just happens that I've never played any of these games. I also stopped watching the anime after the 1st season, but at the time, my favorite Pokemon was Bulbasaur

I've recently read through many of your reviews, and you're a real inspiration to me. I've been learning Japanese for 2 years and can play VNs with a text hooker, but have difficulty with console/hand held games, or any game with writing that is too difficult. How many years have you been studying?

It's great that I can make you even more interested in learning about Japanese culture and its language, but you shouldn't get too inspired by me, because I'm studying for over 10 years! Yes! But don't worry! I'm kinda dumb, so you should be able to learn much faster than me if you study hard everyday! My recommendations are to NEVER use games and such as your main method of practicing. The good and old Japanese class can feel boring, but it was still the best method for me, specially when you have someone who you can have a Japanese conversation with. My teacher is also an Otaku, so we spend hours after class just talking about anime and stuff. It helps a lot!
Please! Never give up! I'm sure you will be able to easily master this language much faster than me! After all, you are able to use text hooker! When I started playing VNs many years ago, I spent hours trying to make that thing work, to no avail!

That's a great question! It's good to see you're taking your healthy daily dose of Refrain! By The way: What do you think about To Heart 3 being developed on the Fox Engine? And how about ATLUS localizing Sanoba Witch? Nah! I think Yuzusoft should have accepted BioWare's offer! BTW: It seems Sekai Project will finally become the most powerful company in the game industry after they buy Microsoft later this year! Crazy, huh?!
