Is there a documentary or book that really changed the way you thought about something?
In 2004, PBS' Frontline premiered a documentary called The 'Dark Side'. It was about the events leading up to the Iraq War. Up until that time I was a staunch supporter of George W. Bush. I was a former military man. I wanted war and more importantly get rid of Saddam Hussein. But after watching the scheming and downright lies of Dick Cheney, I was disgustingly embarrassed and felt used by the premise to get into war. I vowed to never again support any Republican candidates for any purpose, ever! If you haven't seen it, I suggest you watch. It's a shocking and disgusting tale of what happens when people grab power. Watch at your own peril.
