Would you rather be royalty or a reality TV star?
Neither! Don't watch reality TV and I'm not a fan of the Royals! I'm a Yankees fan!
What do you like best about your hometown?
Brooklyn used to be tough, brutal, ghetto. Now it's hip, cool, urban. The place to be. I like that!
What was the last song you sang out loud to?
Louie, Louie! And that's because I read an article about how the writer of the song sold the rights to it for $750 dollars back in the late 50's. Could have been a millionaire!
What was your first paid job?
I worked for a neighborhood supermarket in Uniondale, Long Island. Really cool job.
Who is your biggest mentor?
23 years ago, I attended Toastmaster for public speaking. I was appointed a mentor, Joan Clout Kruse. In addition to being a great coach for my speeches, she was also influential in guiding me in my broadcasting career. Though I don't see her as often as I used to, I couldn't thank her more for the help she has given me over the years.
How jealous are you, on a scale of 0 (not) to 10 (extremely)?
Very, very jealous! 10, and I know I'm wrong for it!
Do you want to get the Apple Watch?
It looks like something from Dick Tracy! Pretty cool!
Post a picture of your favorite sci-fi character!
Captain James T. KIrk of the starship, Enterprise.
What was the last movie you watched?
American Sniper - And to be honest, the movie really pissed me off. I saw it as right-wing propaganda. But it's a very good movie, though.
Post a picture of your favorite movie actor!
Natalie Wood - I've been a fan of hers since I first saw her in 'Rebel Without a Cause'. When she walked on the screen, my heart just melted. Probably because she had those beautiful Brown eyes and Eastern European (Russian) facial features. She was also a wonderful actress. If a movie with Natalie Wood is on TCM, I will stop channel surfing and just watch. I won't pay attention to the movie. I'll just watch and be at awe of her beauty. May she rest in peace. ❤️
What is better the truth even if it hurts, or a lie?
Always tell the truth. A lie will destroy friendships, marriages and even start world wars. Always tell the truth, even if it hurts the other person.
