I’m a lost cause
It feels that way sometimes. Not gonna tell you what I don't feel for myself. I won't lie or give you false hope. But there always is hope. It's not a guarantee. It's not certainty. It's the acknowledgement of simple logic and truth. Things "can" get better. There have been causes more lost than you who have made it to the other side. Not everyone makes it. They don't tell you that. They don't tell you that all the hope and love in the world might not matter in the end. They don't tell you that you might not make it no matter how much you believe. Hope is not a guarantee. It's the understanding that in all the possibilities in this life, no one is a 100% lost cause. No one. And I hope you're one of those ones who makes it to the other side of this. I hope, I don't know, but I hope.
What does it mean when you tell someone you like them and they say they think they don’t feel the same way?
It means they don't think they feel the same way. I don't understand the question.
