Surah Fatah teaches that any situation that feels like a failure or loss at first can yield the real success later.
[Treaty of Hudaibiyah turned out to be a clear victory]
"تا کہ اللّٰہ تمہاری اگلی پچھلی ہر کوتاہی سے در گزر فرمائے۔" (2)
Allah ta'ala makes us go through some difficult situations so that we can be refined and polished. He washes away our previous flaws and makes us stronger and resilient than before.
[The number of Muslims increased and their army became powerful after the treaty]
"اور تم پر اپنی نعمت کی تکمیل کر دے۔ اور تمہیں سیدھا راستہ دکھائے۔" (2)
Then our Rab shows His plan for us. He blesses us in the ways that we don't even come to know how the difficulty has been distanced from us. All those tests and trials take us towards the road to eternal success and bliss.
[Eventually, the Muslims became strong enough to conquer Makkah] 🖤
