What do you think about Toonami losing an hour?

Pretty concerning, but hopefully nothing to completely lose our minds over. I'm hoping that all the changes they made to the Saturday schedule for 8-11 will help the block a little. I don't know if DBZ or KlK will get the illustrious 11:30 timeslot, but either way, I expect them to hold Family Guy's viewers better than AoT reruns and hopefully that will spread through the rest of the block.

What are some qualities you look for in a friend? Both online and irl.

Someone I can relate to, have in-depth discussions with and generally just enjoy being around.

why do u hate naruto shippuden??

I've hated these last 52 or so episodes because the pacing is awful, the animation leaves a lot to be desired, and it suffers from Kishimoto's already weak writing. I don't think I'm in the wrong for disliking it.

What's your favorite show on the toonami block?

dunno, man. There are a lot of shows I like on it. One Piece, Gurren Lagann, Cowboy Bebop, and Space Dandy are among my favorites that are currently on the block, if I had to choose.

Is anime your favorite kind of entertainment?

I'm a media junkie. I don't really have a "favorite kind of entertainment." I watch a lot of it, though.

Worst death in Evangelion?

Alright, spoilers, so don't go complaining to me, jack brother.

I think either Misato or Kaji had the worst deaths in Eva. Not in terms of gruesomeness, but just the affect it had on other characters or just the fact that it presented what was truly wrong with them as a person. Kaji dying was one of several things that lead to the tonal shift in Eva. He wasn't the greatest guy in the world, but he was one of the saner people on the cast and served as an anchor for several of the characters. Especially Misato. Take away someone's anchor and shit is gonna hit the fan pretty fast. So in that regard, Kaji's death was very tragic, because you want to see these characters overcome their mental trauma and become better people and him dying is one of the things that caused that to come to a grinding halt.
Misato's death in the End of Evangelion is a different story. At that point, there wasn't really any hope for her. Kaji was dead and she ended up throwing herself into her work, much like her father. She almost became obsessed with stopping SEELE. This was her way of grieving, and because her and Shinji are so similar—they have trouble connecting with people—she grieved alone. The only way Misato had ever really been able to connect with anyone was through being sexual, and because of that, Kaji was one of the few people she ever truly connected with, and ultimately that was her downfall. Right before she died, she kissed Shinji and said "We'll do the rest later" in an attempt to not only encourage him to save the world but as one last failed attempt to connect with another person, meaning that she never worked through her problem and died just as broken as she always was.
