"Was that enough to help you work out some of the stir-crazies you were feeling?" *The reminder that the only reason she had even sparred with him was to help lift his spirits*

⠀⠀He waved the tanto in an amusing way.⠀❝Heh, more than enough I'd say! Thanks, Nova-ᴄʜᴀɴ.❞ ⠀Majima offered a long and pleasant grin remarking the good result had on him.
The stress released a bit from his muscles, that satiation of getting a serving of adrenaline finally got under control... he felt relaxed... and a winner, of course.
⠀❝—If yer dyin' for a rematch, y'know where find me! I'll be lookin' forward to it.❞
He picked up his jacket from the floor aswell, forced to make a face— sure, he had completely forgotten about the shoulder injury; he was going to have to work on it. It wasn't a big deal, but, couldn't just leave it like that.
The one-eyed man nodded his head and wave a gloved hand in a farewell gesture. Majima supposed there would be nothing more to talk about.
Turning his back on her, headed back to his headquarters.

Was that enough to help you work out some of the stircrazies you were feeling

Some decisions are easy on paper but difficult in real life due to mental stress, emotions, and just the reality of the circumstances. What gives you the drive to push through and succeed?

I’m an adrenaline junkie and I get a massive boost with job satisfaction, between the two I thrive on pushing on 🤷🏻‍♂️

Adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers of Reddit, what's the closest you've ever gotten to dying?

Jumped of a 30ft cliff after my buddy. Since he went first the Rock was wet at the point of the jump. Fell about 6 inches away from the wall thought I was going to smack into some rocks at the bottom. While I missed the rocks at the bottom I hit the water on my side. Air immediately left my lungs. It was one of those moments where I was swimming for the top of the water and wasn’t sure if I’d make it before I passed out. Obviously I made it, but I really though for a moment that was it! Jumped out of a helicopter when skiing. My skis were stuck in my parachute so I dropped them 4000 feet in the air. This was in backcountry Switzerland so I had to make my way 40 miles to the rendezvous in 3 days hiking. Not a fun trip. Almost fell 4000 feet without a parachute, was frost bitten, almost died of infection, and got sent back to Canada without my personal belongings.
Oh, quite a few times. Surfing big waves blitzed had a few wipeouts where I didn't know where up was... Warzones, for sure, several times... Trying to jump onto a trampoline from the roof to catapult into the lake... Actually trying the stuff with the wagon from Calvin and Hobbes near my parents' house as a kid... Locking us in the camper, starting a fire in the kitchen while I tried to make coffee, and getting stuck on a bunk when the table fell apart when my cousin and I were 4... Waking up on a deserted island after losing a boat after a tequila misadventure... Waking up in a body bag after mixing alcohol and heroin.

For instance, the importance of consumption of fats for brain activity. The fog that comes over otherwise. How you can ACTUALLY regulate your hormones and emotions via food. For instance, consumption of chocolate giving way to oxytocin. What about micros tho? What's their importance in your opinion

There are many food that can help in regulating hormones , for example:
Broccoli: Apart from all the health benefits and nutrients, broccoli can also help in maintaining estrogen balance. Due to it's high possession of calcium, it also relieves women from premenstrual syndrome (PMS), which can trigger symptoms such as mood swings, tender breasts, food cravings, fatigue, irritability and depression
Pomegranate: Rich in antioxidant components, pomegranates help in controlling excessive production of estrogen in the body. In addition to that, it also prevents forms of breast cancers associated with estrogen
Quinoa: Packed with vitamins, fiber and protein, it helps keep uncertain blood sugar levels at bay, which in turn keeps a check on insulin and androgen levels. It's anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory components help reduce risks of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
Assuming your diet has no deficiencies to start with, your body is constantly making hormones. If it needs to wait for some nutrient to show up, there's no guarantee that it will show up when needed.
The various organs that are making hormones are running 24/7. They may slow down at times, but they work to ensure that there's a steady supply and a small reserve if needed. Not all hormones are always free floating in your body. Some, like adrenaline, are produced on demand; others like oxytocin are produced following specific things your brain or body does.
Coming to micronutrient (vitamins and minerals)
Metabolic pathways could not run without vitamins and minerals that are co-enzymes to the enzymes in reactions. Your metabolism cease to function and you would die. Some control your fluid levels and blood pressure, heart rhythm, skeletal mass, and some keep your immune system functional. Your red blood cells would not be produced or they’d be deformed and non-functional.
You'd be a mess a lifeless blob without vitamins and minerals.

✨ Jesteś w stanie pokonać swoje lęki? Boisz się czegoś? ✨

Gab_riela_09’s Profile Photo✨ ɢᴀʙʀɪᴇʟᴀ ✨
To zejdziesz. I tak konsekwentnie do konca.
Parę lat temu byłem na odkrytym basenie w Bukownie. Rampa do skoku w wodę z 4 metrów nad ziemią, wtedy również padło stwierdzenie. Wyszedles skoczyc? To skocz.
Powtórzylem to kilkukrotnie.
I to rzeczy niezależnych ode mnie i innych ludzi..

Jestem też dość zagubiona, niepewna miłości i świata. A więcej o mnie dowiedzcie się sami;)

⠀⠀He was simply a curious spectator of all her gestures, acting as if he was not very satisfied with the result of the provocations, he saw it as insufficient. He needed to find that "spark" to exploit the matter, wanting to create a bit of fun along with the adrenaline rush. Goro's face looked somewhat dissatisfied and thoughtful at the same time, during the direct threats with which she attacked him, the one-eyed man set out to find something to test her wild animal instinct.
He brought out his cherished traditional weapon, a tantö that had accompanied him since his early days as part of the yakuza lifestyle. An emblematic symbol of that famous title... "Mad Dog," and a bloodthirsty purpose that followed him from the beginning of his history.
A swift movement would take place, as if he cut something with that dangerous steel edge. He didn't do anything to her, but suddenly there was blood dripping on the floor.
⠀⠀❝You talk too much, girl.❞ ⠀He said as a complaint. He completely showed the origin of that blood in full view of the wolf's eyes: his own left hand with an open wound resulting from a deep cut where the vital liquid would fall all over his arm. For any human it would be crazy and the pain could be hellish, but here he was...smirking. Giving himself the pleasure of becoming a prey in front of a predator. Playing with his fragile human life.
All to give Lexi a good reason to be hostile. That wasn't just crazy. HE was REALLY crazy.
⠀⠀❝Ya wanna eat me? Look! Yer next breakfast.❞ ⠀ As much as he goaded her into losing control, he profited from the thrill of danger. A personal taste since... his sanity was no longer the same.
⠀⠀❝All that booorin' ass chatter you've made…c'mere. Prove it to me with actions. Make me see that I should fear ya.❞ ⠀

What's important for you respect or attention?

Iquratulainb’s Profile PhotoQurat Ul Ain
Attention is very purpose driven and every other random stranger, cheapo, red flag and a douchebag, is very much capable of giving it.
Respect however is sacred. Everyone does not afford to give it ‘especially in situations that aren’t befitting or pleasing to them. You’d be surprised at how many people are willing to give you their attention or short lived affection but can’t respect you, regardless.
I certainly don’t fall in the category of the women, who get adrenaline rush with attention.

⠀⠀Seeing the approach of one of the beasts to attack him, he used the last resort of throwing the shotgun directly at what was supposed to be the anomalous face in order to stun them for a few seconds. A fanged smile played across his lips as he was consumed by the adrenaline of a fight that was almost impossible and exciting. He wanted to play a little evasiveness against the attacks, though Ripley was ahead of him.
She interrupted his suicidal act hearing her cry of despair and how she began to force him to run.
⠀⠀❝Oh- HAHA, no no, don't blame me. You always had the option of sayin' no- but this- shit, this gets good!❞ ⠀He exclaimed with emotion, an attitude that made it difficult for her to move him .
However, an unforeseen event would leave him completely stiff, erasing all traces of happiness or madness in his mind. Goro's gaze stared back.
That familiar power... that feminine figure...
He used great force to break Ripley's hands from his own, breaking free of her resolve to escape. Instead, at a certain distance, he stood still, clearly observing that he was not wrong with what he saw in the background. That /angel/ again...
⠀⠀❝Wh-what— why is she…❞ He muttered to himself, frowning.

czy zło naprawdę ma taki urok?

Fruubus’s Profile Photozya

bungee jumping or snorkeling?

prefer snorkeling bcs i not a fan of adrenaline rush activities. Snorkeling boleh nmpk underwater creatures, which for me, itu menarik hehe. But, if u r trying to let go ur stress and you don't fear with height, then try bungee jumping.

Too complicated in English for me 😅 so I write funny story from today :
I met one boy from my place here on Ask. I was anonymous so he did not know my face and we agreed that we will meet in busstop A. I was waiting for bus which was pointing to reach busstop A and suddenly HE came to my busstop too 😂 but he did not see me before so I just was knowing him 😅. We together got in the bus, I was sitting in front of him 😁, he got off at busstop A, me not and then I was writing him that we were traveling together and he did not know about it.😋 He was trying to remember who was sitting in the bus but he remembered after I sent him my pic only 😂. It was so cute adrenaline for me 👍😁

*Even lost as she was, she recognized her name, and looked up to see who called out to her, seeing someone else injured causes adrenaline to kick in, she's not sure how she knows, but she knows removing the shrapnel won't kill her so she rips it out, and blood gushes from the opening like a crimson waterfall, though as the blood pools on the ground it begins to glow golden and rise in little droplets, these celestial droplets fall on the injured man like soft rain, pure vitality from them filling his form, and though you'd expect him to now be covered in blood, he isn't. Nova stares down at the pool of blood as the golden glow fades, returning the pooling liquid to a sinister scarlet. How did she know how to do that? She got the feeling she had performed miracles like that one before, but couldn't for the life of her remember right now. She was alive when she shouldn't be, her blood may have just brought someone back from the brink and the trauma of the vehicular expl0sion seems to have blocked a fair amount of her memories*

hmm, if you think about it, yes, my friend and I arranged it and it’s very scary ... we also tried it with my brother and sister, oh gods, this is not self-hypnosis, since three people cannot imagine the same thing, because "when it seems that it seems , then it’s not imagining "^^ here I am writing and remember these feelings, oh, it excites😝😁💫🔥🔥🔥
when I was in college, my friends came to me, yes, we didn’t arrange a seance, but we shared our impressions about them, who tried what, and it’s adrenaline and heartbreaking😈🔥💫👍
you know about the Ouija board) everything is in the process ^^

Why do you enjoy travelling?

But in all seriousness, in our modern society, especially in a city, there is very little outlet for that primal urge in most people for adventure, danger, pitting yourself against nature etc. Travelling gives you that sense of adrenaline the first time you see Kilimanjaro appear in the distance or that time that pretty Colombian woman smiles at you from across the bar in Cali. At least those are my reasons to travel. There is nothing quite like the rush you get from finally summiting a big peak, or dropping into the spectacular depths of a coral reef. Traveling takes away everything you are comfortable with, and lets you expand into your surroundings. I've travel all over the US and parts of Canada and when I first ventured out of the US to Western Europe I was hit by so many simple differences. All over the US our electrical plugs are the same, our toilets flush the same way, you use the same money, etc. In Europe, I would travel to a country that was an hour away and need different money (prior to the Euro), the plug might be different (UK to France), etc. I came back from first trip with a new perspective....just because you did it differently doesn't mean its wrong...its just different. I love that feeling and I love finding it again when I travel along with the wonder sights, sounds and tastes. For me, it's a fascination of how people of other cultures live their lives, what they talk about, what they see on a daily basis. I also love seeing history up close and personal. For example being in the Colosseum in Rome, a couple of thousand year old building, still standing. That, to me, is breathtaking.
I've been traveling domestically since I was 6 weeks and internationally from 9 months. It's honestly how I grew up. Even if we always went to the same places to see family. It's what I know. Plus I love discovering things about history/Archeology.
I enjoy traveling for the ultimate sense of freedom. I have less things with me so I need to worry about less things too. The constant new things that happen and unfold around you make you feel like a child... everything is new and interesting. And by constantly meeting new people and making new friends you are always the person you are right at that moment.. It makes one grow so much! By seeing the same people over and over again (colleagues, friends,...) you don't grow as much... you have unconsciously created a role with those people that you keep following. I also love how travel makes you read between the lines.
When I travel it's always in conjunction with going on holiday, so my primary reason to travel is to relax, get a change of scenery, break my usual routine; I also enjoy seeing, doing, eating and drinking things that I can't see/do/eat/drink at home.

Do you think online friendships are substantial enough to entirely replace those in the physical world? Why or why not?

AisyahIsHere2’s Profile PhotoAisyahpotated
To replace? No.
Online friendships, i consider , are an extension to "finding friends" domain on friendship, where earlier we were only limited to classrooms, people whom we encounter in our day to day life, now we can scour so many digital places also called groups which amare sometimes great places to know people who share similar interests. But these online encounters replacing the real thing? I think not. Once you find someone online who's good and you want to take your friendship to next level, you can meet them in real life , from where it can take interesting turns. Although this also comes with a word of caution that online people can very easily hide their real self. And they might have malicious intent, so you must give a good thought in meeting your online friends, whether you know them to convince yourself to meet them? Or is it just the adrenaline speaking. There are caveats to this but if you take care, you will find some very beautiful people, where your chances of meeting them without digital services was pretty bleak.
Consider online friendship as an extension of "friend searching mechanism" , which offers new ways, but definitely cannot replace the real thing.

The disconsolate madman's laughter has led him to make movements that would express entirely the definition of madness and the pleasure of the emotion that would travel through all the veins of him, filling with that adrenaline that lit all the outbreaks of him by the can.
It seemed that even he was his own distraction having locked himself in his own fantasy world that left him at a disadvantage to having the opportunity to dodge that soon counterattack leaving him still prostrate on the pavement. He had hit his head, a consequence that left a temporary dizziness... which simply looked too happy to feel it. As if he was under the effects of a strong drug.

Do you believe that life is fair?

waheedahmad123’s Profile PhotoWaheed Ahmad
Life isn't fair and that's the beauty of it, isn't it? Life's more like a roller coaster – it has its ups, downs, loops, and dangerous drops. We experience different emotions during the climb and during the fall. We experience different things, we lose touch with reality, sometimes we even feel as if we're flying, when really you're going to plummet head first to the ground. The fear, the saddness, the excitement, and the adrenaline makes it beautiful. Life is definitely not fair, you don't get everything you want and compromising and adjusting with what you have is what makes life beautiful.
