Soccer!! I used to play soccer SOOO much when I was younger. I have stopped for a really long time though, I almost never play it and it makes me kinda sad. I'm planning on doing something about that once winter ends though. I'm really good at goaltending but I'm sure I'm going to need a lot of practice to regain my skills. I've only recently started getting into watching soccer. I used to watch basketball and have watched hockey all my life though. Love those sports too.
I grew up in Alabama, which has no professional team. The university teams (especially Auburn University & University of Alabama) are the highest level, and I actually like watching them better. Going to a game live is really fun. The cheerleaders actually lead cheers with signs and the "mic man" (male cheerleader who uses a PA so the student section can hear and cheer along). Also, I like the halftime shows better (which they don't show on TV because of music copyrights issues) because I'm a former marching band geek.
Play: Basketball. It's basically the only thing I know how to play at a high enough level. (Too skinny to play football most of my life, hate soccer, too weak to actually play baseball, and chose track & field over playing volleyball.) Plus getting a neat little dopamine rush when scoring a lot or doing really impressive things like defensive stops or pinning someone's layup on the backboard, that's also nice.
It's a sport that's still in it's infancy. We're still figuring out how the hell it's all going to work in the long term. I like following along with a sport as it goes through it's "wild west" phase. It can be a complete shit show sometimes, but it's also a mad crucible where we're figuring what actually works in combat sports.
It's a draw between AFL and basketball. Both to play and watch on tv - I don't really like going to either of the games though. AFL has too much of the crowd screaming at the umpires about what call to make whenever there is a tackle and it's always miraculously the call that will give the home team possession of the ball. Basketball is kind of spoiled by the announcer constantly trying to hype up the crowd. I think tennis is my favourite sport to watch live.
I don't like playing sports or watching them, but if I have to, I'll watch hockey or basketball because they move quickly. Hockey in particular. Watching a full football, soccer, or baseball game is like torture to me. I mean, if we're talking less-conventional sports, I used to be good at archery and skeet shooting. And I'd rather watch some kind of auto racing than any ball-based sport. And there's nothing like taking a nap to a game of golf on a lazy sunday.

Nope. Heard we won a silver in women's weightlifting today tho. Great start tbh, but I still don't have much hope.

I'll be watching it on all the NBC channels because that's what I have access to. I'll look at finding ways to download some events and games that go on while I'm asleep. I could go with Peacock. I have been planning on a short subscription with them but haven't started yet.
NBC Sports Network, and my cable service comes with a DVR to record events that come on at inconvenient times. If the channel isn't covering an event I want, I'll check the sports app or youtube but this has never been an issue for me. The free NBC channel is outright worthless. You're more likely to get a fluff story about some athlete's third cousin twice removed having a dog that died of cancer while giving birth to a litter of puppies than get coverage on non-US athletes. I’ll get to watch a bit. I’m starting a new job and am in central time so from 6 PM to 9 PM I can watch anything that comes on live if it’s an event I care about like archery or some of the prime time coverage if it’s not. London and Rio were great since the time difference was lower I just had it up in a small window on my second monitor at work all day. I’ll just get whatever YouTube package or whatever I need to get access for the month. Try to overlap a couple free trials then cancel.
Tape as much as possible and don't wander into any results. I'm great at avoiding results. But I know I'll have to watch the high profile stuff on the same day. The more obscure sports nobody is going to blab about the results anyway so I can save those tapes and watch much later, including after the Games are finished.
Let's face it, only gymnastics and figure skating are worthy of prime time network coverage during the trials. Those two sports have huge popularity among women and therefore good ratings. It is the reason NBC cut away from a sudden death playoff in the US Women's Open golf tournament to show the gymnastics trials. They never would have done that for swimming or track and field. NBC will still show swimming and track and field trials during prime time but in increasingly reluctant fashion, because the ratings do not justify it. They do it as a loss leader to build up anticipation for the Olympics themselves.
NBC shows the trials every night... there has been 1-3 hours of air time every night for like 2 weeks now except for Tues/Wed this week where track was off. All finals have been on NBC, just like they do for the actual olympics. You don't usually see the first few rounds of the swimming and track on NBC, it's almost all on another channel or online.

Tại vì là trường bé nên student community khá gắn bó. Kiểu chỗ chị có khoảng 200 câu lạc bộ, và một số student wellness centers. Vì chỗ này không có gì để làm ngoại trừ với người khác nên nếu em không muốn cô đơn thì em không cần phải cô đơn. Kiểu chị thì không socialize bằng small talk được nên là chị tham gia clb :3 Bây giờ chị đang trong Soul Scribe (clb slam poetry), Dartmouth Archery club (bắn cung), và chị vừa được nhận vào làm thêm ở Dartmouth Theater's costume shop. Nên là tuy không hẳn là có bạn nhưng mà chị vẫn có khá nhiều thứ để làm.
Với cả là vì ở đây ít người (population chỉ có học sinh và người già) nên chị thấy khá an toàn. Bình thường trong tuần chị hay ở studio để vẽ đến tầm 11-12 giờ đêm, nên là hay đi bộ về một mình. Đường xá khá vắng nhưng mà kiểu cũng không có gì xảy ra ở đây bao giờ ý :)) (knock on woods)
Và vì ít học sinh (tầm 4,000, bé bằng một nửa so với hầu hết các ivy khác) nên frat culture ở đây khá nổi. 49% học sinh ở đây trong frat (dữ liệu thật đó, một nửa trường luôn). Nhưng mà nếu em không muốn tham gia thì không ai gây áp lực để em phải tham gia, nên it's chill.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Itu jaman gua kelas berapa, aku lupa. Tapi yang jelas, genre-genre yang sama gua dah makin jago, tapi entah kenapa gak pernah tamat itu game, karena ya, dah lama gak pegang. Setidaknya, gara-gara itu game, aku tertarik sama sejarah PD2 ama persenjataan.

Rise of Nations. Ini game paling lama yang masih aku mainkan sampai sekarang (setidaknya dalam jangka waktu yang lama). Kadang aku iseng, LAN sama adek ku (ya, rada-rada cheating karena mintanya offline, tapi gapapa lah), karena adek ku waktu kecil liat cara main gua di game strategi, dia akhirnya punya kecenderungan taktik yang mirip. Tukang ngebut artileri, nunggu mid game baru gebuk habis-habisan, tapi ya, kalau dia mau main cara itu, baru 10 menit dah gua kelarin dia. Oya, biarpun aku main offline game ini lama banget, aku baru coba online nya baru-baru ini, dan, ya, sepi banget.

Battle Realms. Hal yang unik dari game ini, mereka secara reguler produksi peasant. Begitu punya peasant, kamu harus cari punya peasant untuk manen padi, tapi ladang padi ini beda dengan farm-farm di game strategi klasik lainnya, yaitu kamu harus cari, kamu harus nyiram, baru kamu panen. Terus, untuk dapat militer, kamu harus latih peasant itu biar jadi tentara. Katakanlah, Dragon, ngelatih peasant di dojo jadi spearman, latih di archery range jadi archer, latih di alchemist hut jadi chemist. Itu tier 1, untuk tier dua, kombinasi. Dojo+Range jadi Dragon Warrior, Dojo+Hut jadi Kabuki Warrior, Hut+Range jadi Cannoneer, tier tiga, jadi Samurai Dojo+Range+Hut. Mau kavaleri? Cari kuda dulu, bawa ke stable, terserah siapa yang mau naik. Jadi, kavaleri itu di game cuma versi berkuda dari infantri. Simplistik, secara gameplay, tapi, begitu masuk battle, gak segampang yang kamu kira. Archery di game strategi biasanya tetep kena, tapi di game ini, jarak dan kecepatan berpengaruh. Jadi ya, good luck.

• What was your favorite vacation you went on as a child? → I loved each of them, I have so many good memories and lived so many incredible things... when I was around 5, Mom and I used to go to Ajaccio in Corsica each summer, it was so beautifully amazing, we had so many good times... the beach, the walks among the hills, the ocean, the hot sand under the sun and the blue skies with those beautiful clouds... • What tea/ice cream flavor do you enjoy? → I enjoy pretty much almost every type of tea.. mostly I drink herbal ones such as green tea, chamomille, mint, cinammon and this type of flavors - and for ice cream, I love flavors as walnut, peanut, fruits and natural stuff - I'm not a fan of superficial flavors.

• Do you do anything else than vidding? → I do dance, acting, singing, gymnastic and I practice archery - I do a lot of lil' things here and there too when I have the time to or at school during sports classes but these are my favourite and the ones I practice the most besides vidding.

• Are you at school/work? → I'm a student in an acting school but I also have an odd job in a motorcycle shop during weekends, wednesday afternoons and sometimes after school on evening if I don't start early on the next morning.

• Can you do stunts or splits this type of things? → Yes! I'm a gymnast, I have a very flexible body - I can do some pretty cool things with it and splits/stunts included.
