I have two dogs one male chihuahua, and one female Beagle/basset hound. Both are from local shelters found as strays so we have no idea on their age. Sheldon is an old grumpy man though and Millie Mae seems to be pretty young and funny still.
I have 1 dog named Podo (Poe-dough)! He’s an 8 year old pitbull, rescued him when he was 1.5 years. We had two cats Lenny & Otis for some time but Otis got feline leukemia & passed away & Lenny ran away :( Since then Podo has been any only child.
It's not hard, he gets to bathe under his lamps or run around the garden when the weather is nice. I wouldn't know how much on average but it's not cheap. He's still growing and becoming a big boy fast so he eats alot and his tank does use up some power! The cats are alot cheaper heh.
2 dogs. Molly is a little, fluffy, white, useless dog that my mum and sister found on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere up in the Yukon. Basil is a massive black bear of a dog we got to prevent Molly from being eaten by bears. He is the dumbest animal I've ever met. I love them both so much.
I'd be curious to know what he thought of her before he found out she had 3 cats. If he was feeling it (and he's on a second date, so I'm assuming he was) and then suddenly decided she was weird because she has 3 cats with long names, then maybe the issue is with him. At the end of the day though, you like what you like. If he can't get past the cat thing, it doesn't make him a bad person. Lots of people have dealbreakers that other people would consider weird.
I might get killed by cat owners, but I think so. There are always issues that can change this. But cats tend to be smaller and eat less and can basically be left alone for an entire day because of the litter box. As long as the litter box is cleaned and you have scratching under control, I would argue cats are less maintenance and less of a burden on your life day to day. If you have enough food left for them a cat could be just fine left in an empty house for more than a day.
That's not to say I'd consider this an instant deal breaker, but I'd consider more than a couple cats, or a cat and a dog somewhat concerning.
I have three dogs. The first one chose our house, it was winter he liked us and started to sleep in our garage, some time pass and one day he had a big fight with another dog, after that we kept him inside or in the backyard. That was like 6 years ago, the second one is a hyperactive dog, I met her one year ago in a adoptive event and after falling in love with her I brought her to our house, the first one and she had a bit hard time but a couple of week and some training classes improved their relationship. The last one and the little one, we met him in a park, my first dog doesn’t like other males so it was a big surprise seeing him not attacking one dog in the park, we saw him in that park for one week until one rainy day, we took a decision and went for him.

One of my aunt's made me a "pound puppy" back when they were really popular (youngsters look it up). She made 3, one for me and my 2 brothers. They were all unique so to a little kid this was way cool. I still have it 35 years later. The plastic nose broke off but other than that it still in good shape. It's an antique now in storage.
My parents used to give me a stuffed animal for every holiday. When I was 2 they gave me a stuffed dog for Valentine’s Day. I carried it everywhere and slept with it till I was 9. His name was Bosko-Sepia (Bosko from the old cartoon, Sepia from a Crayola crayon, I just liked the word sepia lol). My mom secretly packed him in my things when I went to college. Almost 36 years later, Bosko-Sepia lives on my bed, next to my pillow. His head flops around, one of his ears is almost torn off and he’s been sewed up a couple of times. If my house burned down, he is one of the things I would grab.
Kept the panda plush that his family bought for him on Christmas back when he was 2 years old. 42 years later and he still has it, even when he moved out of his dad's place. Now it just sits at the very corner of his drawer/desk behind a non-functioning desk computer. Surprisingly still intact after all those years. But I find it adorable and slightly amusing when guys still keep their childhood stuffed animals, even if only a few years or decades has gone by. Cuz in most cases I've seen, they would usually hide them away or get embarrassed over it being visible when someone comes over. The small stuffed bear my best friend gave me when I moved from the US. The bunny from when I first got into anime. The miny beanie stuffed whale from when my family visited a zoo. The bigger teddy bear from when I graduated high school.(My class went to a mall together and I bought it at a toy store) The oldest is the mini whale, which I've had since I was 8.
I have some family in Australia (don't personally know them, my late grandfather did but we live in Brazil so I guess I'll never know) and they sent my mom a kangaroo which was passed down to me, still in great condition and will be passed down to my children too. I don’t get very sentimental with childhood stuff but it felt very wrong to just throw them away. They spent many years protecting me from getting my foot grabbed by the monster under the bed, the least I owe them is a dignified retirement.
I had a collection of beautiful teddy bears my dad used to get me when he went on business trips. These days they belong to my kids. The first one I got, which I used to sleep with, is the least appealing to them because the fur is somewhat matted, but they enjoy cuddling with all of the teddy bears.

I got a Disney Pluto doll for Christmas one year when I was 2. I do not remember getting it but there are pictures. I still have him but he is in really rough shape. His tail is gone, his eyes are also missing and his fur is now faded. I gave it to my wife to repair him as she can repair him. I found another one in the early 2000s that I was planning on using for parts but it is too good so I keep that one. That one is currently next to my bed. I physically can’t sleep with him (can’t fall asleep if I am touching something) but he does stay with me.
Not a stuffed animal. A blanket. Apparently I've had it my whole life. There's pictures of 2 month old me wrapped up in it. It used to be red with bears on it. Now it's lost all its color, the teddy bears are gone and it's just a white rag. I used to get upset and cry to days when I lost it, so to keep me quiet, my parents cut it in two. I lost the other half but I still have my half. I still sleep with it every night. I'm 20 so I guess that's not all that long
I'm 21 now and I gave most of my stuffed animals away when we moved to our new house a few years ago, i had like 2 large plastic containers full of them. When we were getting ready to load everything in a trailer to drop it off at the dump and thrift store there was this one cheetah that i just couldn't get myself to throw away so i took that one out. I think I've had it since I was 6 or 7 when we went to the zoo, i don't really have any special memories attached to it something but it just felt wrong to let go off it. It had been sitting in a bag on the attic for the last 2.5 years and for a few more years in a box in my old house so it's not quite as soft as it once was but it's in good condition overall. I've taken him out of storage a cot months ago in a mental break down as i just needed something to hold on too and since then i fall asleep with it in my arms for most of the nights. There's a bunny that I've had since I was a baby. I only know this because there's a picture of me holding her as a baby. She's still in pretty good condition too. Her fur's a little more faded than it was when I was a baby but no major damage. She's been my sister's bunny for far longer than she's been mine at this point though I went to an amusement park when I was 4, and my parents got me a blue dog plushie. He's still in good condition too minus some missing fur and I named him Blue/Bloo after Blue's Clues. I also have a giraffe that my brother brought home and gave to my sister and I during the summer after freshman year of high school. I kept him around and he got me through some tough moments in high school. He hasn't been around nearly as long as the other 2 so he's in almost the exact same condition as when I got him. Again, he's with my sister now but there have been times where I just wanted to take him and hug him when things get tough.

I've been stared down by black bears a few times. I once almost stepped on a rattlesnake in Arizona. Yikes! I've come across bears a few times, mostly black, one grizzly, though it's never seemed all that frightening. We clearly wanted nothing to do with each other. The only time I was more than a little uneasy was seeing a young black bear cub wander into our campsite. Never saw mom, though. Fortunately. I don't know how "dangerous" it was, but a bighorn sheep did try to butt me off a trail once. Yes years ago on a secluded bike path a very big female deer with her young ones in tow was ready to charge me til I put my bike in front of me and it ran off. Was scary. I was eight years old and I was scared out of my wits. Scared the wits out of me. It scared the hell out of me. It scared the daylights out of me. I've come across black bear, but like most animals they want to be left alone and run off. I suppose it may be different if it was a den of cubs though. That I've not experienced personally. Almost bumped into a bear.
Saw it walking ahead of us on a trail.
He looked back at us then climbed up a hill.

I went on a cruise in April to the Bahamas and it was the best time of my life. We went on a carnival cruise line. Don’t use room service too often because your bill will skyrocket. But if money’s not a problem then just enjoy all the free food and relax while on the ocean. The stops are best part though. Some islands are owned by the cruise line so they’ll upcharge you on purchases on the island because they can. But they usually have a lot of activities going on throughout the day like karokee, trivia, and shows. I snuck some weed on the boat and that made the time 10x better 😂
Carnival is my favorite - food is reasonable, accomodations are fine, people are super nice and friendly and they have outdoor movies at night and also (typically) a separate adults only pool area which was AWESOME. Tons of activities and everything was pretty easy going. Upcharge for drinks and fancy dining, though, which is to be expected, but Norweigen had free drinks. Lines at the buffet can get LONG but there's always specialty dining if you're willing to pay and frankly it's not that much money. We bought a bottle of gin for the room and it was like $100.00 but it was more than enough to keep my friend and I happy without spending too much money additional on booze. You are only supposed to drink it in your room, but what are water bottles for if not for sneaking gin and tonics for your outdoor movie experiences? Norweigen was my second favorite. Food was somewhate better than Carnival, staff and other guests were fairly friendly and the rooms were fine. No outdoor movies, though and only one pool and hot tub area which meant I didn't get to use the hot tubs or pools because too many kids, plus fewer activities and it was hard to figure out how you were supposed to sign up for them. Bonus for this one: "all inclusive" is free booze AND the cruise I went on went to Cuba, which made going to Cuba extremely easy.
I have a massive phobia about falling out of the sky, as such I don't fly (yes, I know it's irrational). That's fine to get to anywhere in Europe, but beyond that, virtually impossible. As such cruises are fantastic for me to see places that I normally would either have to spend a few hours crying my eyes out over and stressing about for weeks beforehand, or, just not doing it. I've been on a couple of cruises, one up to Svalbard via Norway and Faroe Islands which was great to head into the actual polar bears will eat you Arctic. The demographiscs on that one weren't great, I (23ish at the time) was one of about five younger than retirement age. But also, Svalbard. I went on one when I was 16. I think it was Carnival, to Mexico, Jamaica, and someplace else. Western Caribbean, basically. For me it was a lot of fun. I got to try seafood for the first time, guilt free. I could have ice cream whenever I please. I really enjoyed being on the boat in general. My mother got seasick when the water got a little rough lol. The ports I was mixed about.
