i asked questions on here fairly consistently for over five years. people would send me messages or like a post to opt in for my "question spams", as we were calling them. i would then send out a block of 3-10 questions once a week, every week (on average).

most of the time, these questions had a theme, whether they were all connected to each other (e.g. questions about music taste) or came from a greater category i thought up creative questions for. as an example, i once sent out a solar system themed spam, and though i don't remember the specific questions i asked, it would have gone something like this: "(saturn) how many rings do you own? do you enjoy wearing rings, or do prefer to keep your fingers free?"

i would usually type these questions up in advance so they could be sent out within a certain timeframe. at other times, i sent out "question of the day" type questions, which were often impromptu.

i haven't sent out questions on here in over two years because the culture on the site has changed dramatically. most of the users who enjoyed my questions are now gone, so when i came back to using the site more regularly again, i adapted to the shoutout function. despite not sending out nearly as many questions as i had before, i started getting anonymous harassment for being "annoying" and asking "dumb" questions. this completely ruined my interest in being curious about other people on this site, so i decided to hang up my metaphorical hat and just... retire. lmao.

I prefer to absorb knowledge like a sponge. Scrupulous, wise, a little economical, prudent, realistic, responsible and disciplined. I would prefer creative work, for example, a film director or clothing designer, architect, sculptor. I don’t really like being a director or boss. Because in our family it is customary that children do not give commands.

Per avvicinarmi a una descrizione cito il classico Pulp Fiction, la caratteristica principale di Tarantino come regista è la sua capacità di mescolare elementi di crimine, commedia, azione e dramma in un modo innovativo e stimolante, usando una narrazione non lineare e un lavoro creativo della telecamera. La violenza grafica e il dark humor sono altri elementi caratteristici dei suoi film, che hanno contribuito a renderlo una delle figure più influenti dell'industria. Insomma, è capace di miscelare generi, tematiche, stili, con grandi dialoghi e con una narrazione avvincente, questa sua capacità di creare una storia interessante e avvincente abbinata al suo stile unico, è sicuramente una delle sue caratteristiche più riconoscibili. In generale Pulp Fiction è un film che ho molto apprezzato per la sua trama avvincente, per i personaggi complessi e per la qualità della recitazione. Considerando che è un film che ha più di 30 anni, è ancora particolarmente attuale e di grande influenza, personalmente anche per questo considero che Tarantino sia una delle menti creative e innovative del cinema, non per questo il suo stile è spesso imitato e viene messo in luce in molte altre opere di successo.

Astronomy. I really wanted to work at Nasa one day. I was looking into university courses back when I was deciding what to study, and there were a couple that I wanted to apply to, as they also had a years work experience in Houston texas, so you could work alongside Nasa in your final year.

However to do the course, you needed top A levels in physics and maths I think, which I didn't have. So would have had to try and get those A levels as an adult which would have been awkward. And I was also aware, due to adhd, I'm really terrible at focusing on some things for long periods. Like for me I struggle staying focused on academic stuff. But am better staying focused with creative stuff.

So I realised even though it was a massive passion of mine, I knew it would end up stressing me out more because I wouldn't have the capacity to focus fully enough to do it unfortunately. And so I went the creative route instead, to work with another passion, but that one I'm able to get more engrossed with. And thus less stressed with.

So I just appreciate space from a distance now. If I didn't have adhd etc issues and was less hindered, you bet your ass I would be doing something in the astronomy field right now.

Probably anything that most people would find too depressing, too angry, too old, too weird or too sad. I'm not really into just naming it all off. I think I really enjoy extremes in music. I like for music, movies or any other kind of creative outlet to challenge me and push my buttons little bit. I think I really like stuff that makes you want to kill yourself at first but then kind of live. I try to keep an open mind about music and I'm into this weird thing where I listen to stuff and I judge it by how it sounds to me and how it makes me feel not by how many cool brownie points I'm going to get for liking this and that. When it comes to music I don't care how old or new something is, what genre it is, how many people listen to or like it, how popular or relevant the music is or how many people I'm going to impress by liking this and that. I do not care about all that social side of music listening whatsoever. I like what I like and I try not to shit on stuff that I don't get. Anyway, here's a song that I been looking for for more than 15 years and I recently found.
