🌷 No, I don't find social media to be difficult at all. Because I only use them whenever I want to unwind, do some photos or video editing, share or look for inspirations or funny posts, and to keep in touch with a few of my friends and relatives who lives overseas. But most of the time, my accounts are either deactivated / inactive or uninstalled anyway.

Besides, I rarely socialise online. I am picky with who I add. Though I have put the link of my personal social media accounts on my Bio here, it doesn't mean I want to have more people. I only put it there to show which accounts are genuinely mine. Because sadly, there are some copycats and imposters who got nothing better to do with their life.

My accounts my choice. I decide who I interact with or block. I don't need to unnecessary put myself in unpleasant situations which would just cause trouble in my life.

Even here on ASKfm, I've blocked so many Anonymous and Pseudonymous accounts already. I don't need to deal with their pettiness.

You find out where you belong through trial and error. I myself haven’t found exactly where I belong just yet but I do know what I’m passionate about (art, writing, and music) so I spend my days listening to music, sometimes drawing as well and have decided to major in English because I wanted to improve my writing and writing is something I want to focus on for the rest of my life. It didn’t happen overnight tho and I still have dreams of becoming a teacher one day but after failing statistics and not being able to get a degree in the field of health sciences unless I passed statistics made me give up on pursuing a career in the field of health sciences and I switched to studio arts instead. Then, I failed the beginning stages of drawing class and decided that maybe it’s best to make a switch again and found English to be convenient, since I knew I was an introvert and could see myself writing and/or editing works for the rest of my life. All I have to do now is to find more likeminded individuals to continue my passion while being surrounded by those who can motivate me to work harder and to not give up on my dreams.

Ich finde es lächerlich, wenn Leute es so darstellen, als sei Content Creation keine harte Arbeit und hätte nicht auch ihre Nachteile. Ich will dich mal sehen wie du dir alle Skills selbst beibringst (Fotografie, Social Media Management, Marketing, evtl Videographie und Editing, Make Up und vieles mehr), in der Öffentlichkeit und damit unter ständiger Beurteilung von etlichen Menschen stehst, und auf mehreren Plattformen parallel ein großes Publikum entertaint hältst, während du deine Zeit und Kapazitäten komplett selbst managst, anfangs keinerlei Garantie auf ein stetiges Einkommen hast hast, konstant ein bestimmtes Image aufrecht erhalten und deiner Brand entsprechen musst, usw.

Will nicht sagen, es sei fair, dass andere Leute sich abschuften müssen, um über die Runden zu kommen -- ist es nicht, niemand sollte über seine Kapazitäten hinaus arbeiten müssen nur um überleben zu dürfen. Aber dieses ständige gegeneinander aufwiegen und andere Berufe abwerten/unterschätzen geht mir so auf den Sack.

I do edit pictures, yes! What I do, in terms of editing, very much depends on what I feel the picture needs, to be honest. But generally speaking, I don’t do a whole lot. Mostly because… I don’t know how. 😂

For example, I don’t edit pictures of myself too much. I mostly fix any lighting issues, and maybe do some minor touch ups. I also slightly blur out the background, a lot of times, if I’m just taking a picture in my bedroom, or if the background is uninteresting to look at.

When it comes to landscapes, or just scenery in general, I simply try to enhance what is already there. I’d say I mess around most with the saturation and exposure, maybe again, tweak it a bit here and there, but that’s usually as far as I go.

I use an app called Lightleap. I do pay for the premium version to get more out of it, and it’s honestly been worth the money, in my opinion. It’s incredibly simple to use, as I’m a total amateur when it comes to editing. And I can usually achieve what I’m looking for pretty quickly, as long as the photo I took was relatively decent. 😄🤳🏼

I sort of achieved my biggest dream. I just wanted my parents to be happy and proud of me. I grew up feeling bad that I wasn’t pretty, smart, well mannered, or talented enough. But since I moved out and stopped forcing myself to exist for them, I realized that they’re content with me anyway. My dream right now is to get my parents to stop working and retire so they can work on their garden and go on vacation.
Make my parents proud. They've given up a lot over the course of their lives for me and my little brother - they're first gen immigrants, and the first couple of years here were really tough, but they tried to make sacrifices in a way that I never felt the pinch. I just want to give that back to them in tenfold.
Honestly, I've got a car, a house, a wife and a child, so 90% of my dreams have already come true. However, I want to get a book published, write and direct a film, star in a film (not written by me, I'm not that self indulgent) and watch my baby girl grow up into a successful woman.
In my writing classes at college (creative writing major), some authors gave advice saying that you know your piece is done when you're no longer editing and just making changes. Changes that mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of the story. Every artist in the world looks at their own pieces (art, writing, animation, etc.) and only sees its flaws. It's just how our brains work. I look at my piece and then I look at professional books and see the mistakes in their pieces. I read a book that skipped a whole half of a sentence. Your readers will never imagine exactly what you pictured while writing it because everyone is different. It will take a lot of practice to silence that self doubt, and I'm still not completely over it, but I am happy with my book, so yeah. As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters in the end.
Definitely. I had several beta testers for my book. My very first one was not a good reviewer, though. She was extremely critical, but her criticism wasn't constructive in any way. When picking a friend, family member, or someone else to review your piece, you have to trust this person to be brutally honest but still be constructive. If you want a professional to look it over, I would look on Reedsy. It's a free service that helps self-publishing authors to get into contact with professional editors and reviewers, and even cover artists, though you have to afford those professionals.
To make a difference. This "dream" is actually fueled by my fear of dying and not being remembered. So I want to make an impact on the world so I will never be forgotten, but in a good way not the Hitler kind of way. Selfish I know.
And if ever age caught up to me, or I got bored of travel, then I would buy a simple farm and spend the rest of my days telling my grand kids and anyone else that would listen about my world travels and the things in my Tuff Box and my new second Tuff Box from my travels.

I haven't purchased a computer in over a decade. I build my own systems and occasionally, I also build and maintain them for a few clients. With laptops, I usually buy used and refurbish or upgrade them myself. As far as how powerful it has to be, it depends on my needs. For example, I have a legacy box for older games / software and it's never used for online: Win 7 Pro + Linux in dual-boot, i7-4790K (slight overclock), GTX 1660, 32GB DDR3, two 1TB SSDs, etc. The hardware is overkill (for legacy tasks) but some of the components were scavenged from other systems. Another box is a multi-boot with Win 10 Enterprise LTSC + a few Linux distros, i9-12900K, RTX 3080 Ti, 64GB DDR4, one 2TB SSD, several external HDDs for storage, etc. As far as specs go, all of my other systems are Intel-based too but the components and operating systems vary (most are running on Arch Linux or Manjaro and I test other distros when my schedule permits).

Fair. Aku aja lulusan SMA diundang kerja di Bidang Animasi sebagai Manager Team lalu diundang juga masuk ke perusahaan suatu Aplikasi sebagai UX Design. Tapi aku g ambil keduanya dan skrng menikmati pekerjaan sebagai pebisnis.

Sebenarnya banyak pekerjaan diluar kantor dan jabatan yang lebih baik. Tpi itu tergantung kemauan dan keinginan berusaha. Tapi ya rata² Orang tuh mikirnya sempit, antara kerja di kantor atau jadi Konten Kreator. Padahal pekerjaan itu banyak apalagi Freelancer tuh sangat dibutuhin oleh Orang² di berbagai Negara.

Kalau hobi Foto dan punya kamera bagus, bisa dapat penghasilan dari foto itu dengan memajangnya di web² Microstok. Kalau punya bakat di bidang desain, ngejual jasa pembuatan Desain di Fiverr bisa menjadi pekerjaan yang sangat menguntungkan. Punya bakat Video Graph bisa ngebuka jasa Editing Video dan masih banyak lagi.

Sehr schwer, außer ich habe starke Beteiligung. Mir fehlt zu allen drei Dingen die Expertise. Gut, ich hab drei Romane geschrieben und Drehbücher lassen sich fünfmal so schnell verfassen - dafür muss man sie deutlich wirtschaftlicher angehen. Na ja, "muss".

Aber das Drehbuch ist die Anleitung, nicht das Produkt. Die Seele kommt so sehr durch die Ingredienzen und Darbietung, dass ich als Nur-Drehbuchautor höchstens in an Theater anmutenden Werken wie Der Gott des Gemetzels oder dem jüngst veröffentlichten Mass damit glücklich wäre.

Zum Üben gern, aber wenn ich mal drin sein sollte.... hm. Schwierig. Ich bin so komisch isoliert in meinem Geist, dass da schon ein Lars von Trier vorbeimarschieren müsste, der das ja genauso ist. Einen perfekten Cinematographen zu finden und dann Regie führen, das wäre schon ein Traum. Editing gebe ich ab, solange ich dann noch ein Wort mitzureden habe.

Aber das sind ja Luftschlösser. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich je mehr mache als, äh, Editing meiner kleinen Videos. Mal sehen. Ich überlege mir ein kleines Skript, aber ist alles Neuland. Bis dahin schreibe ich meine Bücher. :)
