When you wait for someone for a few minutes, it's out of necessity, for a few hours, it's a sign of trust, for a few weeks, it reflects friendship, but to wait even when you know they won't come shows your love .
Yeah, people often say you shouldn't expect anything in return from others .
Yet the sad reality is, when we truly love someone, we naturally hope for a little care, even just a tiny bit.
Every person you encounter is part of your journey, but not all are meant to stay, the majority are merely passing by, offering gifts, whether blessings or lessons, and along this path, it's essential to embrace the fleeting nature of relationships, recognizing that each interaction serves a higher purpose intended by the creator himself .
These experiences mold your character, shaping you for the better or worse, they build your resilience, and prepare you for the future whether it's bright or dark .

What do you think life is?

I came across this recently and I saved it in my notes I think it sums it up ✨it’s long 😅😂
Drive carefully on this road called "life", because people will switch lanes on you without a signal. You never know what's around the next bend or who will suddenly cut you off. But don't let that stop you from enjoying the journey! Take in the sights, appreciate the scenic views, and make the most of every mile. Remember to buckle up, be patient, and always keep a safe distance.
Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and you'll encounter all sorts of drivers along the way. Some will speed past you, while others will crawl along. Some will be courteous and let you merge, while others will honk and gesture. But don't let their behavior dictate your journey. Stay focused on your own path, and keep moving forward.
And when someone does inevitably switch lanes without a signal, just take a deep breath, smile, and keep on driving. Don't let their recklessness ruin your trip. Instead, use it as an opportunity to practice patience, empathy, and understanding.
After all, life is a journey, not a destination. The road may be long and winding, but with the right attitude, you'll arrive at your destination feeling fulfilled, grateful, and ready for whatever comes next. So drive carefully, drive kindly, and enjoy the ride!✨🥂🍀😍

Ask your self this??

Between you and me something is growing. Is a love that can be like a miracle happening. From far away the stars are aligning to put us both in front of each other. In the middle of this lonely chapter our pages are turning and writing our future. Look at me. Look at you. We are both here to encounter this meeting. We have a story to live. Our hearts will awaken, and that's destiny 😍🙏

Are u scared of Ghosts lambuù?

avi1985’s Profile Photoabhinav
Well it depends on the intensity of scariness... i get involved in certain situation where I've encountered such entities not in a very direct way...like knocking at the door, shadow seeing etc etc.. this doesnt scare me that much.. but sometimes make me laugh (idk why)...However, if I were to encounter something directly terrifying, it might actually be capable of killing me.

Do you think growing up was a trap

For me, it's like an upgrade each time. You're never quite prepared for the changes you'll encounter, but they're worth it for the new experiences. Yet, when you look back at the simpler past, you can't help but admire the simplicity of situations that time.

Stoicviolet’s Profile PhotoVio
Venturing out into the depths of Bowser's Castle, this place was typically a place of whimsical intensity, reserved for a final encounter to save the princess .
However, to Vio, this place was utterly foreign, whimsy replaced with dread and suspense of what lurked around the corner .
To make matters worse, the abundance of lava was alarming, the need for parkouring to get across ever so strange, but march on he must into the bowels ...

*Vio refuses to admit it, though the fact he's shaking where he stands is a pretty good indicator that this whole encounter took a toll on him. He'll be sure to compose himself before he faces any of the others, but for just a moment, he allows himself to be disturbed by what happened*

Why do some people want to bring others down on here?

FreshICYGirl’s Profile PhotoBe Yourself Always
I think that people online tend to disassociate the consequences or the impact of their words more than they would in person. They can’t see someone’s emotional state prior to a conversation and they don’t read an emotional response through facial recognition or body language online unless you’re FaceTiming or using Zoom. Unfortunately, you are more likely to encounter ugliness over the phone or online, than you would in person. People are more cruel when they can hide their face.

Why do some people bring out the best in us while others bring out the worst in us?

Froyh’s Profile PhotoMerve
This is a strange way to answer but this is what comes to mind. Why does the Earth have valleys, plains, and hills? We can’t always choose the terrain of our path, but you strengthen different muscles when walking each terrain, and to train your body to be a master of all exercise will only benefit you in the long run. In this way… you can’t always choose the people that you encounter, the ones that impact you emotionally, whether positively or negatively; However, you can enjoy the time without conflict when around positive people and practice self control and kindness around those who may tire us emotionally. You can’t control circumstances or them, but you can be the best you.
Why do some people bring out the best in us while others bring out the worst in

Why god is selective

God is never selective. We get everything as per our intentions. Allah has clearly mentioned in Quran
"acts depends on intentions"
The way you think you become, the amount you want you will get. It's all the matter of tawakul. Tawakul is between a man and God no matter what religion you are from. If a man has a connection with the Divine, he will ultimately be rewarded. We as Muslims have an edge obviously to be patient and wait for the right moment. Remember, everyone is a hero of its own story, and heroes never fail. They encounter a good end either in this world or here after. If you have any doubt regarding your future or you are hopeless, build a connection with the divine who loves you more than you even imagine.

Why is it that when your personality is starkly different from someone in the room, their presence alone can make you feel uncomfortable sometimes (at least that’s the case with me)?

Froyh’s Profile PhotoMerve
Feeling uncomfortable or uneasy when you have a starkly different personality from someone else in the room is a common experience. Several factors could contribute to this feeling:
1. Lack of familiarity: When you encounter someone with a significantly different personality, it can be challenging to relate or find common ground. This lack of familiarity can create a sense of discomfort as you may not know how to navigate the interaction or connect with the person.
2. Differences in communication styles: Variances in communication styles can lead to misunderstandings or difficulties in effective communication. If you and the other person have contrasting ways of expressing yourselves or communicating, it can create tension and discomfort in the room.
3. Fear of judgment or rejection: Depending on the situation, being around people with a different personality may trigger feelings of inadequacy or a fear of being judged for being different. This fear of rejection or not fitting in can contribute to discomfort and a sense of unease.
4. Cognitive dissonance: When confronted with someone who holds contrasting views or values, it can create cognitive dissonance, which is the psychological discomfort that arises from holding conflicting beliefs or attitudes. This dissonance can be uncomfortable and may lead to tension in social interactions.
It's important to remember that everyone has their own unique personality, and differences can be an opportunity for growth and learning. It can be helpful to maintain an open mind, practice empathy, and focus on finding common ground or understanding each other's perspectives to alleviate some of the discomfort.

Does the notable replacement of in-person friends with online friends leave individuals with diminished community support when they encounter adversity? 🤔

Who says online friends can’t offer support? Mental support exists if the friend is genuine. However, I believe in balance. Have friends that you can go out with, talk to, hug. 8 seconds of a hug is scientifically proven to make a difference to the mood of the recipient.

What kind of books do you read? 📚🤓

Well, despite growing up in a somewhat middle-sized town which was the equivalent to an American county seat, we lived in a rather secluded neighborhood nestled in the heart of the so-called Teutoburg Forest. It was one of those locations where you wouldn't be surprised to encounter characters as lovely and philanthropic as Ed Gein or Dr. Heiter – the perfect setting for movies like 'Wrong Turn'. Within a radius of approximately 1.5 miles, there was literally nothing – no other kids, no pets, just a fair number of neighbors who seemed to be competing in their own leisurely 'race to the casket'.
What was even worse was German TV at the time. German TV is quite different from American TV; it's more akin to British TV. We have two very big public service broadcasters, and for all other types of TV, you would either need cable or a satellite antenna. We had neither. So, whenever I switched on the TV, I could have found myself watching either a Hitler documentary or Volksmusik. German Volksmusik. And no, this is not akin to Irish folk or country music – it's literally this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5ySLcU8vwQnormanz9761’s Video 174092261915 x5ySLcU8vwQnormanz9761’s Video 174092261915 x5ySLcU8vwQ.
So the only entertainment available was either video games or reading. My father was and is an avid reader, but he mostly reads suspense novels, something I didn't really get into as a child. My mother is not much of a reader, but she was an English teacher and had a lot of literature from her college days, including a copy of the Communist Manifesto, which happened to become the first book I read, amusingly enough (my parents weren't from the GDR and the copy of the manifesto was filled with anti-communist annotations).
Among my first fiction reads were mostly Victorian literature, 'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Brontë, 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens. At some point, I encountered my mother's dystopian books from college, 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley and 'Fahrenheit 451', which I understood pretty well because of all those Hitler documentaries on TV. And this pretty much shaped my reading experience for life. I enjoy reading a lot (often juggling 4-5 books at once). Among my favorite English authors are Joan Didion (she was an absolute genius), J.M. Coetzee, Kazuo Ishiguro, Paul Auster, Virginia Woolf, Hemingway (of course), Hunter S. Thompson, Theodore Dreiser, Kurt Vonnegut, Emily Dickinson, Philip K. Dick, Stephen King (especially '11/22/63') – and many more, but those are the ones that come to mind immediately. A lesser-known non-fiction book that I like to recommend to everyone is 'The Sense of Beauty' by George Santayana.
Even if my spectrum of beloved fiction leans less towards suspense, I quite enjoy Raymond Chandler (despite his evident misogyny) simply for the way he writes and the atmosphere of 1930s/40s Los Angeles he manages to evoke.

Today at my work I came across a new worker who's only 12 years old so like usual when I meet a small kid I keep asking them questions about themselves so I asked the little girl about her name, age & school...Surprisingly, she has never attended school throughout her past years & it ached my heart to see such a cute little fellow who didn't get to spend a normal childhood, make school friends & would grow up to be called an "ignorant individual".
I usually don't write about/share the things that I encounter but this time I had to, to remind myself before anyone else that the school/college we keep nagging about is a privilege others get deprived from & yes, education is a blessing.

I’ve had a few readings. A couple of tarot readers and a few psychics/mediums. I do not think I’ve had a bad encounter but I’d say one or two were more vague, definitely reading my energy at the time, rather than just knowing things they wouldn’t have known. I’ve had three readings from three different psychics that have all confirmed the same thing, in similar detail, about the future :)

Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?

Not everything maybe, but most things. Major life events perhaps could be predetermined, but small incidental, everyday decisions I don’t believe happen for a reason.
Similarly, anything that could be classified as “chaos” in terms of energy (violence, wars, injustice of any kind, etc), I don’t believe happens for a reason, and it is purely that, ‘chaos’ happening. I’m labelling this as purely ‘order vs chaos’ energy, if that makes any sense.
On a personal scale, I think we have a blueprint of our life path; people we may encounter, events that may occur, a general timeline, etc. There is also the element of free will however, which could lead to different paths branching off/being taken or altering the time of which things may happen. Who knows, really. Long story short, I think it’s 50/50 :)

What a random encounter. But she took it personally... because this 'human' was actually the daughter of an ex-Patriarch, who was in prison.
It has been a year since she became a matriarch, taking her father’s place.
They’ve been watching her for a year. Every move, every hour, every day.
Of course, sometimes she managed to lay low.
But Richard found new ways to do it. That’s why she thought Ramattra was another one of these attempts.
The girl didn’t get too far away and listened at the distance... Trouble.
Started to hear some whispers echoing in the alley. She stood there, with a loose pose, hands in her pockets, listening...
"Yo, dude, look ! an Omnic scum... "
She flinched with anger and looked over her shoulder, her deduction was correct, it was a group of omnic-hating thugs stalking Ramattra...
Without thinking twice the matriarch began to walk towards where they were, who were planning to attack the omnic from behind.
The heavy rain camouflaged the steps of Kaitlyn down the alley, taking the group by surprise from the rear.
— Pssst... — The girl interrupted, smiling sideways. The thugs shuddered at the sudden appearance and before they could react, Kaitlyn struck them with precision.
Another fight, great... fortunately, she came out victorious and the group ended up unconscious on the floor.

Dan_Yal’s Profile PhotoDanyal ツ
No one knows the real them themselves except the creator I guess because the gist is that the person you think of "YOURSELF" exists only for you, & even you don't really know who that is. Every person you encounter with creates a version of "YOU" in their heads. You ain't the same person to everyone, there are a thousand different versions of yourself out there in people's minds, A "YOU" exists in each version and yet your "YOU" & "YOURSELF" isn't really a someone at all.

I’ve been really struggling with my mental health recently. I need to make change and challenge myself, I’m considering studying a Level 3 Diploma online but I’m unsure what subject to choose. What course would you choose and why?

Perhaps start with 'CAB'
They probs can't help , but will direct you to options . . .
Do you have contact with nhs mental health care ?

Or go direct to local college , start enquiries . . . . but with some form of case-worker ; you can have face to face , no-pressure discuss , to help also find suitable subjects to consider/investigate . . . .
You could ask your gp to refer , but stick to your guns that you want to do something positive & stimulating . But having someone to refer to if/when you encounter difficultiesalong the way . . . .
ALSO . . . . I'M SUGGESTING COMMUNITY COLLEGE (eg) , rather than isolating yourself further . I know how strong the longing to 'hide away' can be - but that won't help . INTERNET/online is generally so very bad for mental health . . . . resist isolation ; so long as it is with the right people - understanding . . .
Starting with CAB , I'd recommend starting with phoning national rather than local, particularly if your in a smaller town, eg .
They will research ideas & leads, and call you back - but the important thing is they will say to let them know if their recommendation(s) don't help and they will take it further . . .
