I guess, memories during my college years never fail to bring a smile to my face. I’d remember the times when my group of friends and myself would laze about in an empty classroom, during breaks and after school. We’d either study like crazy or fool around. I still have video recordings of us doing Korean Pop dance covers and arm wrestling matches. We’d plan birthday surprises and share food amongst ourselves. We’d fangirl over hot celebrities and watch drama episodes together. We’d blast music and sing along to the lyrics. We’d unhook our skirts to ease the tension in our fat stomachs after lunch, put up our legs on chairs and tables, sleep on benches, or in my case, placing three chairs side by side before laying down and using my sweater to either cover my face or roll it into a ball of pillow. We’d have takeaway food bought from the canteen and gossip about anything under the sun. We’d rant about our lecturers who always seem to target us and copy each other’s work if incomplete. We’d take a lot of random selfies with funny filters (Snapchat filters were popular back then). I swear, it was the most enjoyable time of my life.

Rein storytechnisch war das Herr der Ringe von Tolkien. Die Werke vereinen so viel Gutes und Schönes mit sich, dass man immer wieder in der Geschichte versinken möchte. Es ist eine qualitativ sehr hochwertige Reihe, in sich geschlossen und vermittelt wundersame Werte zu Freundschaft und zeigt, dass Gutes und Böses manchmal ineinander verwoben sein kann und nicht alles in einem Schwarz-Weiß-Muster vorherbestimmt sein muss.

Eine Reihe, die im Nachhinein jetzt nicht zwingend extrem "gut" ist, weil sie sich oft gewisser Klischees, vorhersehbarer Narrative und Plot-Holes bedient und eher an Jugendliche gerichtet ist, aber mich extrem geprägt hat, wäre die "The Iron Fey" - Saga von Julie Kagawa. Uff. Die deutschen Cover sind SO EXTREM kitschig und abschreckend, sogar bei der fragwürdigen Translation "Plötzlich Fee" sollte es einem grausen, aber ich bin lange über diese "Ich mag nur noch coole INTELLEKTUELLE Sachen, pffff" - Phase hinweg und auch, wenn es nicht mehr das Gleiche ist, liebe ich diese Geschichte. Natürlich überkommt mich beim Lesen manchmal ein leichtes Cringe-Gefühl, eben weil ich nicht mehr in meiner 14-jährigen Bubble stecke, aber mich hat keine Reihe so sehr geprägt wie diese. Ich erinnere mich noch an Zeiten, als ich weder Internet noch Computerspiele parat hatte und wirklich den ganzen Tag in dieser Geschichte versunken war. Stundenlang. Ich tat nichts anderes als diese Romane zu lesen und war emotional sehr schnell mit den jeweiligen Charakteren verbunden. Irgendwann war die Story zu Ende und mich überkam so ein furchtbares Gefühl der Leere, bis die Geschichte dann doch in einer neuen Reihe fortgeführt wurde, mit der ich mich thematisch aber nicht wirklich anfreunden wollte. Das erste Buch dieser Reihe habe ich nie zu Ende gelesen und vieles vergessen. Vor ein paar Tagen erfuhr ich, dass die Autorin einfach eine komplett neue Reihe zu meinem absoluten Lieblingscharakter geschaffen hatte und ich war sofort 10 Jahre jünger und ein kleines Fangirl, das einfach nur wieder mit Romantasy-Schnulz berieselt werden wollte. UND ES IST MIR NICHT EINMAL PEINLICH DAS ZUZUGEBEN, HAH. Jedenfalls habe ich die ganzen alten Romane herausgekramt und möchte sie extra für diese neue Reihe meines liebsten Charakters von Neuem lesen. Es wird vermutlich wirklich schwierig an einigen Stellen weil mein Erwachsenen-Hirn daraus die ein oder andere Qual ziehen wird, aber es gab so lustige Dialoge und schöne Umschreibungen der Feenwelt, dass ich das über mich ergehen lassen werde. Und ich interessiere mich jetzt auch wieder für die anderen Werke der Autorin, die sogar auf mich ganz interessant wirken. Puh. Ich bin einfach so froh, dass ich nicht mehr auf Krampf hin versuche bestimmte "cringy" Interessen zu unterdrücken, nur um eine bestimmte Wirkung auf andere zu erzielen. Und manchmal ist es einfach schön, wieder ein bisschen in den vergangenen Interessen zu stöbern und sie sogar mit einem nostalgischen Gefühl zu genießen.

Egyébként ez egy nagyon régi számuk még a 90-es évekből, csak nem akartam idelinkelni az eredeti klipet, mert elég morbid (bár legalább átadja a mondanivalóját)
Azonkívül, hogy a hangja számomra maga a megnyugvás, egy furcsa, keserédes érzést kelt bennem, mert...
1.) Valahogy annyira a tömény szomorúságot kötöm ehhez az emberhez. Nem tudom, miért. Azt tudom, hogy az első felesége nagyon korán meghalt, a fiát is totál egyedül nevelte fel, meg valamiért a második gyerekét is, aki már egy másik nőtől született. Nem szokványos forgatókönyv. A Svoboda (szabadság) című száma volt az, ami először elgondolkoztatott az élet értelmetlenségén, meg valahogy az összes zenéje egyszerre megnyugtató és depressziós. Csomószor olyan témákat feszeget, amikhez akár agresszívan is lehetne viszonyulni, viszont az ő nyilatkozataiból és egyébként a dalaiból is inkább a minimális reménnyel fűszerezett beletörődő elfogadást szűröm ki.
2.) Túl jó ember, és az ilyenekhez hajlamos vagyok automatikus sajnálatot fűzni, mert sok (nem jellemzem őket sehogy, de mindenki találja meg a szerinte megfelelő szót) ember nem érti őket, és csak szapulni képes. Persze, hogy én neki adok igazat, megint csak az én véleményem, úgyhogy objektív szempontból elég irreleváns.
3.) Az is igaz, hogy főleg akkor hallgattam sokat, amikor nem voltam jó passzban.

@raniyela: It will always be in this list, whether you like it or not. She is a strong, independent woman and doesn't shove it in everyone's face. She shows that it is also okay to show weakness. It's just admirable what she has managed to do. (And if it was, it was a long time ago) However, she is a woman who speaks her mind, which I quite approve of. You shouldn't get so many favors - and she shows that. In addition, she also shows as much as she wants and remains with her blog also very similar to her character. There is a deepening of her character which I like.

Mavie ist definitiv Marvel/DC-Fan, schon seit sie ein Kind ist. Die Idee eines allmächtigen Superhelden, der die Welt vor dem Bösen bewahrt, hat sie schon immer fasziniert und irgendwie auch inspiriert, Aurorin zu werden. Ihr Zugang zu den Filmen ist in der Zaubererwelt ja eher eingeschränkt, aber seit sie lesen kann liebt sie die Comics. Ihr Favorit: Spiderman. Inzwischen schaut sie auch gerne die Filme, wenn sie sich nach Feierabend gemütlich mit einem Bier auf die Couch fallen lässt.

Eliza ist etwas schwierig, da ich kurz überlegen musste, was es 1940 für Fandoms gab... Aber sie liest extrem gerne, und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sie in Grossbritannien auf Jane Austen Bücher wie Stolz und Vorurteil gestossen ist und sie nur so verschlungen hat (und eine gewisse Lizzie steckt ja schon in ihr ;)). In Deutschland hat sie Werke von Theodor Fontane (z.B. Effie Briest) gelesen.

Neves Fandom (in ihrer Zeit) sind die Piraten- und Schauergeschichten, die alte Seefahrer in irgendwelchen Spelunken am Hafen erzählen. Sie gehört zu den Leuten, die das wirklich glaubt und ernst nimmt. In der heutigen Welt wäre sie Fan von True Crime Podcasts und Augenzeugenberichten von Leuten, die Geister gesehen haben oder von Aliens entführt wurden. Ausserdem wäre sie grosser Fan von Shane Madej.

Birdie würde man auf Anhieb nicht gerade als Fangirl einschätzen, und es ist ein gut gehütetes Geheimnis, aber tatsächlich liebt sie "Herr der Ringe". Vom Hobbit über post mortem veröffentlichte Tolkien-Schriften, sogar das Silmarillion hat sie gelesen und in ihrer Hochphase des Fan-Seins mit ungefähr 14 ein paar Worte elbisch gelernt. Das kann sie heute nicht mehr, aber ihre Liebe zu Mittelerde ist irgendwo tief in ihr versteckt geblieben.

Keira würde es natürlich niemals zugeben, sie ist eher herablassend gegenüber allem, was die Muggel sich so ausdenken und Zeit hat sie ja sowieso gar keine. Aber bei einem Antrittsbesuch bei der Familie ihres Dads hat sie sich das erste Twilight-Buch von ihrer 17jährigen Halbschwester Holly ausgeliehen, und seither die gesamte Reihe durchgesuchtet. Emmett macht sich lustig über sie, wenn sie abends in der Badewanne liest, aber das ist ihr egal (zumal sie niemals offiziell zugegeben hat, die Romane zu mögen. Im Gegenteil sogar. En mi búsqueda de bandas de thrash y Death metal nacionales "underground", encontré una banda muy buena que se llama 'PULVERIZADOR' (Esto fue hace unos 3, casi 4 años)
Me gustó muchísimo esa banda y como toda fangirl pendeja, necesitaba saber quién era el vocalista. Cuando encontré videos de ensayos de ellos y los busqué en una página que se llama Metallum, ahí supe cómo le decían al vocalista y curiosamente me lo topaba seguido en sugerencias de amistad en fb y comentarios de algunos contactos. (como toda una morra meca, me metía a ver de vez en cuando las fotos que tenía públicas y en algún momento llegué a tener alguna como fondo de pantalla jaksjajsjaja)
No fue hasta apenas casi 2 años que lo agregué xd y un año después nos empezamos a hablar (messenger nomás), solo que ya no era mi crush, porque tenia novio y estaba bien enqlada. Cuando tuve oportunidad de conocerle en persona, me cayó a toda madre y nos llevamos muy bien.
