I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked. One fig was a husband and a happy home and children, and another fig was a famous poet and another fig was a brilliant professor, and another fig was Ee Gee, the amazing editor, and another fig was Europe and Africa and South America, and another fig was Constantin and Socrates and Attila and a pack of other lovers with queer names and offbeat professions, and another fig was an Olympic lady crew champion, and beyond and above these figs were many more figs I couldn't quite make out. I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind, which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet.

Działa na Ciebie kofeina? Pobudza Cię? Pijasz kawę? Jeśli tak to jaka jest Twoja ulubiona?

Does caffeine work for you? Does it energize you? Do you drink coffee? If so, what's your favorite?
Caffeine works on me, but where can you find caffeine these days, when coffee tastes like coffee but there is no caffeine in it. To say how caffeine in coffee should work, you have to remember how coffee worked 20 years ago, then a glass of coffee put you on your feet. Nowadays, coffee works like a coffee drink, but it does not give you energy to live. Real caffeine can only be found in some energy drinks

Luciano corp being this big organization and all, it got me wondering if you guys have other corp related rivals!

Mikhail: -I'm at the very top of the building, taking in the sun and lying back on my beach chair while some others are in the pool right now- Oh yeah, there's plenty competition out there trying to be a multi-universal company like ours....
But I would be dishonest if I didn't mention ONE in particular that has been very, very increasingly annoying over the course of the years. We lost to them 3 years back, not so long ago.
Taking away our title as the best multi-company of all time. To be honest, our duel has been ongoing and I THOUGHT ALL would be over once the original CEO passed away but his BRAT OF A CHILD TOOK OVER.
A blow I didn't expect nor see. -I stop relaxing and bite my thumb now in anger. I growl-
And is that blood brat GOOD at what they do. Making even the devil himself quite jealous e_e... -My eye twitches-
??????:Ah, what an unexpected turn of events we seem to be encountering here! Indeed, how fortuitous it is to come face to face with the erstwhile individual who, for nearly a decade, found himself rather consistently outperformed by my esteemed self, only to experience a fleeting moment of triumph due to the profoundly unfortunate timing of my father's demise.
-A voice speaks from above-
Azazel: -Recognizes that annoying way of speech- I-ITS...
Asmodeus: -Growls and looks up-
Astaroth: AHHHHH! O////O -moans-
Baal: -Notices the private jet with a very all to familiar company symbol on it- The blue angel is here..
Mikhail: YOU!!!!!....
??????: -I laughs- However, I must inquire, are you not once again experiencing the bitter taste of defeat? How fares your livestock in these unfortunate circumstances? Declining precipitously, I presume? Permit me to extend a hand of assistance, should you be amenable to engaging in negotiations whereby you might relinquish your title and allow me to preside over your affairs henceforth.
-I jump down and gracefully land on my two feet. I spin my diamond cane and rest myself again it-
Pray tell, did you find yourself longing for my esteemed presence during my absence? I was under the impression that I had explicitly conveyed the anticipation of my imminent arrival.
Mikhail: -Growls- CANTERBURY!!!! HOW DARE YOU SET FOOT UPON MY GROUNDS!!!!
Cecil: Ha!!! I must regretfully inform you that you did not respond to my earlier entreaty regarding our proposed meeting; thus, I have taken the liberty of presenting myself here in person to convey my intentions.
Mikhail: That's because I never intended to accept your ridiculous request in the first place!!! I am to busy running things to perfection to be dealing with a little gnat like you!!! -I approach the rather small statured individual. I our faces come close to one another. I look annoyed but then smirk- But fine, I'll indulge you in absolutely humiliation if you want it so badly :)
Cecil: Oh, don't act so tough little man. Must I remind you where you are right now? You seem to be struggling :)

Have you ever watched anyone die?

Twice.
Sat with both of my grandparents on their death beds until they passed - sat with grandad for 12 hours in '21 (we weren't allowed to see him until the Very End because of pos Covid restrictions), gran for the better part of 3-4 days in '23. Grandad had a long illness and watching him deteriorate and then really struggle over his last month or so was maybe actually worse than his actual passing. Gran was more sudden - thought she was going to get back on her feet - she was doing fine then all of a sudden she wasnt...
They were my people, more like parents than my actual parents. Glued to grandad's hip literally since birth lol. For me, there's no getting over the loss of either one of them, and certainly not the complete loss of both of them 🤍

Idk if poor Nugget would appreciate two people she likes fighting like this though QAQ

Berith: Well, that doesn't matter right now!
Melech: -Growls-
-The fight continues-
Lestat: -After dispersing Baal's attack, I get ready to attack him but he is nowhere to be seen. My ichor eyes moving fast, looking in all directions. Their movement creates this lingering glow effect that follow my vampiric eyes. Suddenly, I see twisted spires rising from the ground, I move fast-
Baal: -Used a simple distraction as I appear next to him and slam my staff across his face, making his entire form twist. He bounces several feet away from me. I smirk and go after him to finish the attack but to my surprise I see all i hit was just some sort of blood puppet. Now, I'm the one looking for him-
Lestat: -I attack from above, screaming in rage as i come at full force, scythe blade first to the face- YOU'RE MINE!!!!!
Baal: -My glowing blue eyes dart upwards and I lift my staff. Scythe and blade colliding and making friction yet again-
Lestat: -I let out almost a dragonic like roar and my muscles boom with force, causing for more strong pressure upon baal-
Baal: -I feel my anatomy be press down against the ground, my form breaking through the floor as Lestat adds more raw power-
Lestat: -My muscles tighten and the friction made, eventually ends with my own raw strength, sending him several feet underground where you hear a loud boom from how far below I sent him-
-however, it doesn't take long for the entire floor to crack and break, as thousands of demon flies come flying out and surround me-
Lestat: -I think nothing of them until I begin to burn them all with my scythes' blade, cutting through until it causes for each fly to explode with miasma. The explosion so strong it sends me flying back, to a vacant building which I break in half due to the impact-
-Horde of flies they go after him, piling on top of where Lestat is-
Lestat: -I let out yet another dragonic like roar, spitting fire from my mouth, burning away each fly-
Baal: -Both of my hands, rise from the ground and I grab Lestat by his long legs, I drag him underneath and begin to drag him with force-
Lestat: -My active attack explodes in my own mouth, causing for yet another rumble to happen, as a huge explosion, wipes out the entire area-
Sasi: HOLY SH1T!!! GUYS!!! WE ARE LIVE, WATCHING A DEVIL VS DEVIL FIGHT!!!
Melech: -My eyes shake as this is getting worse and worse-

What's the most important lesson you learned in life?

When the soul leaves the body of a person, it starts from the feet and ends at the eyes. A man lying on the bed becomes the witness of his own departure. One can not run away from the situation, and still, the sight follows it through the skies. Now, imagine the level of helplessness of the one who strayed from the right path. We can relate this helplessness in a worldly context as when somebody leaves you, they take away the right to go after them. Your sight follows them through the road of their departure until they are out of sight.

I want to remember every cute and bright moment of my life, so that it does not fade and is not lost in time. I want to remember what I felt. My laughter in a cafe, the smell of the sea, flowers in my hair, sand under my feet. The laughter of children, my mother's hand on my cheek. The warmth of meetings and the melancholy of parting. I want to keep such moments inside myself, so that they make me stronger, at a time when it seems that nothing is left.

Anybody got remedies for migraine?

asKholeReturnsXD’s Profile PhotoPrincess Consuela Bananahamock
A few days ago someone told me that if you soak your feet, for a few minutes, to the ankles, in hot water, slightly a little warmer than warm (of course not too hot that could burn the skin) it gradually lessens the migraine pain effect.
PS: i do not have migraine so whatever I am saying is irrelevant and unproven information for me, still I'm dispensing it so that someone may try it and i hope it works for them.

One time, I was sitting on the floor, massaging my mum's feet, and we were gossiping about people we hate. I told her that we should use medieval tactics to torture them, then described one of them. She laughed the loudest laughter I have ever heard from her. That is my favourite sound.

anywhere on your body you wouldn't get pierced or tattooed

Face, feet, palms, I’d say probably not neck/throat. Wouldn’t get any intimate area tattoos either. As for piercings, I think they look lovely on other people but I think nostril is probably the only facial one I’ll have.

Learn from love and not from hate. This is how… Rise above. Have you ever heard the story of the eagle and the crow? When an eagle is attacked by a crow, they do not rid themselves of the annoyance by fighting. They ignore them, and look up, aiming their flight higher and higher. While an eagle can soar up to 10,000 feet comfortably, a crow cannot rise above 7,000. Instead it grows faint and falls away. We can be the victor by learning about flight and positivity, refusing to give in to the behaviour of the crows.

Barbering school. I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but I truly want to get my barbering license and get a fresh start in my career ambitions. It’d be so nice to get back on my feet! 😌
Recently, I discovered that there is also a Cosmetology/Barbing program (basically a mix of the two in one program) that I’m interested in. I feel I need a refresh on various Cosmetology skills that I haven’t really kept up with, so that’s been in my sights for a little bit! I just hope my health can be stable enough that I can go for it fairly soon. I miss being able to consistently do what I love most. 🥺🥹

how did you meet your partner if cool to ask

zactc’s Profile Photozack vaughan
It's perfect okay to ask! I'm actually glad you did since it's a pretty cute story. Or at least I think so, but I'm biased. 😉
We technically met through a mutual friend on Facebook, but we'd been in the background of each other's lives for a while before then. We had a lot of friends in common and went to a lot of the same places. There are literally photographs from 2016 where we're in the same room, standing a few feet away from each other, yet completely oblivious to one another's presence.
It wasn't until he sent me a random friend request sometime in the Spring of 2017 that we really started talking to each other. Normally I don't accept random adds on social media, but one of our close friends had messaged me to let me know that he had been asking her about me-- apparently he'd seen me comment on a bunch of her posts and he thought I was funny and cute and he wanted to talk to me but was nervous.
At that point I pretty much went, "you know what, why not?" and accepted the friend request. I thought it was sweet that he was nervous (especially since I'm about as intimidating as a bunny rabbit 🤣) and I was single at the time, and open to meeting new people.
We chatted for a few months on and off, and eventually wound up going on our first date during the July of that year. The rest is history. ✨🤭

Do you remember any of the stories your grandparents used to tell you?

My great grandma told me stories when I was little. I don't mind sharing this one. She remembered when she was a little girl. She was born in 1921 and lived to 95 btw. They grew up on a farm. Her father was a kind man, but a heavy drinker. Her mother was a strong stern woman who didn't even stand 5 feet. She remembers them harvesting the corn and her father was to take it to town to have it processed with molasses for sweet feed. To feed the milk cows. Apparently once my great great grandfather came back with a big bunch of corn liquor instead. Great great grandma apparently laid into him and wouldn't let him back in the house until he traded if back for the cow food 😅. This was during the height US prohibition on alcohol too

Recently, have you been liking shorter or longer hair more?

Froyh’s Profile PhotoMerve
Longer is always better. Short hair is cute too though. I donate mine when it gets long enough to charities that make wigs for sick kids. Longest I've had it was lower middle of my back. I'm going back to that before I will consider donating again. The woman said they needed longer for girls. Minimum is 10 inches to donate. Last time they were really happy with my donation so I'm going for a couple feet this time 👍

According to research, the heart produces an electromagnetic field that exists about 3 feet outside our body. It allows us to read emotional energy within proximity. Have you ever experienced this? Is it more so with certain people than others for you?

tristanandiseult3’s Profile PhotoΣΩ
Yes, it's true. It's why sometimes we feel uneasy standing next to someone. And sometimes we feel very good standing next to someone when their energy is giving positivity and good vibes.
Once, my teacher told me that it happens with rooms and objects as well. Sometimes when you sit in a random chair, you can never get comfortable enough. It's like it has some sort of energy that you just don't like. Same with rooms. Some rooms are beautifully decorated but you will never feel good in it, nothing will feel comfortable or good for you. It's weird how everything works. Everything has its own place in nature.

Twice, once in my infancy, my maa told me that some medicine reacted in my body and i got high temperatures. Paramedical staff was bathing my body in ice cold water to cool down my body temperature at time when the temperature outside was around -2 to -6. but it was not getting in control and doctor left the hope and asked my maa to pray to Allah that i survive through the night. And Alhumdulillah Allah listened to my maa’s pray. (Fun fact my aba didn’t get to know this since my ama was at her home until i got healthy.)
Then in my teenage i had many accidents and every time Allah Almighty saved me from not only dying but from disability as well.
The last accident was a wake up call for me to slow down a little in life. I was severely hit by car that dragged me to 10 feet on the road. My left elbow (i am left handed) got severely wounded that the bone was visible but Alhumdulillah Allah saved me and my bone wasn’t damaged at all. Would you believe nothing happened to the bone only the skin and tissues beneath were damaged. My skin took a month to recover completely, but a year even a little touch to that area, gave a shock of some hefty watts.

The idea that the heart produces an electromagnetic field that extends outside the body and influences emotions is a fascinating topic, often discussed in the context of the Heart Math Institute's research.
While scientific consensus on this is still evolving, many people report feeling a certain "energy" or vibe from others, which could be related to body language, facial expressions, or subtle physiological cues.
Personally, I have experienced moments where I felt an immediate sense of calm or tension around certain individuals.
This could be due to various factors like their demeanor, tone of voice, or even subconscious cues.
It seems to happen more strongly with people who are very emotionally expressive or with whom I share a strong connection.
How about you?
Have you noticed this with some people more than others?

I think it's called a person's aura. In fact, sometimes I intuitively felt whether someone should be trusted or not, what kind of energy a person had.
Usually my intuition did not lie to me, but because of self-distrust, I sometimes ignored it's signals, which I now really regret.

The electrical activity of the heart and brain generating electromagnetic waves is certainly a proven fact, from what I've read. However, I believe that perceiving another person's energy or emotions through these waves is still a hypothesis. I can perceive these things, for example, from a person's eyes, especially their facial expressions. For instance, if someone is depressed, I immediately notice a dark shadow in their eyes.

I’m usually too anxious in public to be able to sense how another person is feeling but there was a time when I was sitting in a classroom and a female classmate that was always nice to me was going through hard times and when we made eye contact, her eyes started watering. I can usually sense this with people I feel comfortable around and I tend to close myself off to those who make me feel uncomfortable. With guys, it’s harder to tell how they’re feeling but with women, it’s easier to read them but maybe that’s just me. There was also another time when this female acquaintance was looking at me from across the cafeteria and she wasn’t too far away from me either but it was clear that she wasn’t having fun. We were on a road trip to Chicago at the time and on the way back, she talked about how upset she was after hearing about a certain news but tbh, I didn’t think she was upset enough to cry but she did. It might be because I myself am almost always unhappy in public so when I see someone else who isn’t having a fun time in public like me, I assume they are anxious like me or that they’re just observing their surroundings like I am. I’m not the best at reading people and usually am not concerned until they break down or shed tears, which I realize doesn’t make me come across as someone that’s good at sensing others feelings. Even when people outwardly display their feelings, I have a hard time putting my guard down and connecting with them on an emotional level.

That is quite interesting. I have heard before about the idea of emotional energy and how it can affect us - but I didn't know that there is scientific research behind it. I have definitely experienced it. There have been times when I have walked into a room and just felt an overwhelming sense of negativity or tension in the air like you just get that negative vibe from someone and - even if nobody was speaking or doing anything overtly negative. On the other hand, some people radiate positivity and warmth no matter where they go - you just feel better being around them. I think that some people might be more attuned to reading these emotional energies than others - maybe cause of their own sensitivity or intuition. But regardless of whether we consciously recognize it or not, I believe that these fields do exist and affect us on a deeper level than we may realize. 🌻

Open minded, yes. However, that does not mean I am willing to indulge f*tish questions. That's not what I'm here for. I also don't appreciate being spammed. Over the last hour you have sent me multiple messages saying the same thing, over and over.
Now, I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt since you have sent me a couple of genuine questions in the past (and a few earlier today which I will get round to answering). But I am going to make my boundaries very clear to you, right now:
If you continue to spam me with multiple "hi/hey/hello" messages, or if you send me anything related to feet or shoes or tickling-- then I won't reply, I will just block you.

What genres of books do you like to read (or listen to if you prefer audio books)?

Emmagine_This’s Profile PhotoEmmagine_This
I’m a huge fan of mystery and thriller books! I tend to prefer stories that keep me on my feet. Or even those that make me wonder or throw me into the story and let me put the pieces of the puzzle together myself. I am honestly rather picky about books, and often get bored of them quickly. 😬 So yeah, I usually stick to those couple genres. Even though, I am truly trying to venture outside of that and explore other genres! ☺️

I turned to my friends and started asking them, "yar, ye sahi se banaiga? Chicken kachi tou nahi chorega na?" They all laughed.
So, the pastas are done and the cook is serving it to us. Then he looks at me, dead in the eye, and goes, “haan jee madam aur kuch chahye?” My jaw? Yeah, dropped. On the floor. He grinned at my expression and continued, “mein dikhta Chinese hoon lekin hoon nahi, mein Nepali hoon aur mujhe Urdu aati hai.”
The pasta was so heavy, I had like seven bites before going to get it packed. The dude looked at me when I was ten feet away and started laughing.
I have never been racist after that ❤️❤️
