Do you like to sing?

Yes I enjoy singing and I especially like singing background harmony whether it be 4 part harmony, 3 part or 2 part. I've always found 2 part harmony to have less constraints because you have more freedom to pick and choose harmonies without conflicting with other harmony lines being sung.
That was until I heard the following duet where their harmonies, in my opinion, are nicely arranged with complex counterpoint. The harmonies their two voices produce is a blessing and something that I will never get tired of listening to. Excellent work! /Alex

What are your thoughts on the concept of forgiveness?

Funkyali’s Profile PhotoMuhammad Zargham Ali
To me, forgiveness is wishing the person you are forgiving no ill will.
It does not mean the person occupies the same place in your life, nor does it imply that you carry on as if the transgression never happened.
You can, for example, forgive someone and resolve never to see them again. You don't distance yourself out of anger or spite but out of respect for yourself; out of a healthy need to set new boundaries.
Forgiving someone is not a gift to the person who hurt you but rather a gift to yourself.
The goal of forgiveness is freedom from resentment, bitterness, anger or hatred. Harboring these feelings cannot hurt another person but can cause you great harm. Better to let them go.

What do you do when you find no joy in anything?

AhmadBakheitMndo’s Profile Photo∆HMED
I look in the mirror and ask myself, "What the hell is wrong with you?" If it were possible, I would slap myself across the face too. Hopefully, I'd snap out of it. How could I possibly go through life and pretend that I can't find joy in anything when others are suffering, homeless, starving or in constant danger from a pointless war? There are children dying of cancer. People who have lost loved ones. Victims of crime, disease and totalitarian governments. I'm healthy. In good shape and fully functional. 👍 I have a place to sleep. A few shekels in my wallet. Enough food to feed an army. More books than I will ever have time to read. The dearest friends a person could hope to have and miraculously, they still tolerate my eccentricities. The freedom to pursue my interests and devote some time to worthy causes. This alone is enough to satisfy me. What could bring more joy than voluntarily helping others? If the day should come when I can't / won't find pleasure in anything, you have my permission to kick my a55. Twice.

Could someone tell me exactly how this app works? Are personal questions just for me or are personal questions just personal questions? I'm so confused. I only know it's for me if someone addresses me. Then I ask questions and they don't get posted...

Askfm can be confusing and take some time to get use to.
> Are personal questions just for me? Yes
Select the "Inbox" and you will discover two soft tabs labeled "All" and "Personal." General questions (shoutouts) destined for ALL askfm users within your country will appear here under the ALL tab. Personal questions designated for you will appear under "Personal." Personal questions defined by a predefined list, where you are a subscribed member of said list will also appear under Personal. An example of this would be a text message broadcast from a friend to multiple friends included in predefined list.
> I ask questions and they don't get posted...
Using the plus sign (+) in top right, you can ask questions using two methods:
1. Ask People - these are known as anonymous shoutout questions which are broadcast to all active members of askfm within your country as defined by your Network IP address. Shoutouts only get posted when a user receives and responds to your message.
2. Ask Friend allows you to select which "friends" you want to receive your queston.
You can also ask specific users questions by selecting your "Friends" tab located on Home menu and select "ask me anything." Whether or not these questions are anonymous or not depends upon if the "ask anonymously" soft button located under the "ask" window is selected or not.
History Lesson: When askfm was first introduced in June 2010 it was advertized as an anonymous text messaging application. This appealed to many people who wanted anonymity and wanted to roleplay where they could assume fake names, characters, etc. (note: most of these users left askfm between 2016 and 2018) because askfm was sold and implemented strict rules that prohibited "offending" people. So essentially conversations involving sex, politics, religion have been banned.
The other problem that occurred as a result of this attack on freedom of speech is that askfm users are afraid to ask controversial questions because they know their account will be suspended. Once in a blue moon I might receive a decent question worthy of a response, but most of the questions, in my opinion, are uninteresting (which is why many askfm users have abandoned their accounts).
To entertain myself, what I do is post my own questions and then I answer my own question. This allows me to challenge myself. In a way it is similar to playing chess with yourself or playing golf and competing against yourself or perhaps recording music where you play all instruments and record all tracks individually by yourself.
I hope you enjoy you askfm experience and are able to avoid receiving askfm warnings or suspensions that are mostly without merit and are a result of other "woke users" submitting fallacious reports to askfm administrators who NEVER take the time to review and determine whether or not these erroneous reports are valid or not. They simply send you a warning and then suspend your account. /A

"Globalist Tyrants" by Alex
This is a great question and it is a question that every human living on this planet should be asking themselves.
Please visit the World Economic Forum's and United Nation websites and educate yourself about "Agenda 2030" and what the WEF's plans are to take control of all human activity using Climate Control Regulation, Global Taxes, Health Regulation (pandemics/vaccines) and Food Supply (shortages).
There is no doubt that we are heading into the end times where governments will conspire against citizens and countries against countries and neighbors against neighbors and children against parents. And these dysfunctional and destructive behaviors will continue until such time as the sheep awaken in righteous indignation and acknowledge this evil and then fight with all of their collective might to eliminate the Gloablist's Tyranny to reclaim their Liberty and Freedom from these evil Globalist Tyrants.
> "The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people."

Edmund Burke
> Revelation 19:20
"And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

What do you like to do in the city and what do you like to do in the country?

I absolutely hate the city. The only nice thing about living in a "city" is the food options. Living close to shopping areas are dangerous for me because I have expensive taste whether that be decor or clothing.... 😬
I find the beaches very relaxing, too.
I grew up on a farm, so I love the freedom. I love the responsibility of caring for animals and keeping busy with chores or whatever needs to be done. I love being able to hop on my horses whenever I felt like it and ride for hours. I loved mudding and spending hours outside climbing trees. I miss swinging off the hay trolley and jumping into a pile of hay.

If you were given GodHood, what is the first thing you would change in this world?

PulkitSharma62’s Profile PhotoJustice
Can't change only one thing as it's all inter-related, i.e., ensuring social justice, equality and promoting self-preservation values.
When the basic freedom of an individual is snatched away then it affects their lifestyle, mental-well being. It could deeply impact their future. Right to go to parks, educational institutions, job access should never be barred for anyone. It's no one's privilege to take away such basic rights. So, it will be the first prime responsibility to ensure equality for all individuals.

What is something you feel proud of accomplishing this year? (It can be a big or small win!) :)

asgardarts’s Profile PhotoLivi;
Hmm it's easy to forget the things we achieved sometimes. Especially if they're maybe smaller things to other people. But I'm proud of how I've managed to end this year, compared to how it started and was just a mere few months ago even.
My health has been a big struggle this year, and was a bit of a touch and go situation. So the fact I'm home, and on track again, means a lot to me. To feel some freedom back.
I'm hopeful the new year will continue to improve 😊💖.

Why are you so impatient if I don’t answer right away? Why do you make assumptions?

It is not that you don't answer right away that bothers me, it is that you block me whenever I say anything that you disagree with or that "offends" you. Have you not heard of the concept of free speech or you one of those folks who believe free speech only applies to you?
"We look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms. The first is freedom of speech and expression. The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way. The third is freedom from want. The fourth is freedom from fear."

Yes, I believe that WWIII has begun.
America and it's EEU allies are attempting to impose their Globalist agenda upon the world and upon sovereign Nations who believe in culture, tradition, history, self-determination, Faith, Family, Freedom and national sovereignty. These nations are collectively resisting the WEF, the WHO, the United Nations and Western democracies attempts to create a New World Order. They are forming alliances with one another to sustain their economies, financial systems and their right to exist.
I believe that in the end, these Globalist tyrants will be defeated and the Globalist attempts to create a tyrannical One World Government will fail.

Do you believe people really care anymore? OR have the me and mine mentality?

In the United States I believe it is 50/50. I believe that those people willing to fight for Freedom of Speech care and those who fight for suppression of Free Speech and Cancel Culture, only care about themselves and their woke ideology.

Stop violence against women!

This is a repost from Alessio Cappellini (@AlessioCappellini962). The message is profound and beautifully written. Thank You Alessio for your words of wisdom.
Strength to women who fall and always find the strength to get back up, to women who are hurt but don't give up. Strength to the women who cry at night, in silence, but face each day with a smile, to those women who struggle and carry on alone, with courage and dignity. Strength to women who pick up the fragments of their heart and put the pieces of their existence back together, to women who know how to give love even when they receive slaps, to women who overcome fears and chase their dreams. Come on to all you women, who wear your dignity, your smile, your freedom every day. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Stop violence against women

In Islam you are not allowed to make friends, girls cant use perfumes, you are not allowed to smoke, you have to wear burqa all the time. no i dont want to be a muslim there is no freedom.

In jew, uh have to go through some steps to attain liberation, in hinduism uh need to reborn in multiple beings to attain liberation, in Buddhism uh need to go through a process of liberation, in christianity, zoroasterism, daoism, ancient Chinese religions, jainism, bahaism, and many more religions have specific terms to attain liberation.
But islam says’ your good manners are your way to jannah’.

MuhammadAli191’s Profile PhotoMohammed Ali Baloucch
Men got unlimited freedom they can live life their way how they wanna live .they can study good get good job make their life what they wanna make through their hard work and dedication towards your goals with such ease no restriction no limitation .
Women life is easy too but they have to take permission every step of life like going for shopping with friends in shopping mall or for hair colour etc

All we require is maintenance.. Which costs much more than .. A Jeans, a jacket and a hairbrush.. No?!?!?!

deeda_dahi’s Profile PhotoZalaam
We need Knowledge, political correctness of our standards and thoughts , spiritual nourishment and awareness , self-love and care, a helping hand and a listening ear would do some good ..
But above all i think we all we seek freedom , freedom in all contexts ..

What do you prefer - to love or be loved?

Being loved does not pay because it lacks freedom, because it becomes difficult to affirm oneself and avoid the inevitable compromises to make happy those who cannot live without us. Great effort especially if the feeling that surrounds us is not reciprocated in equal measure. Guilt, hypocrisy and a few lies become our daily lives. And this becomes even more terrible if, the one who loves us, loves us with a true, disinterested and generous love. There are times in life when we think that being loved is enough to make us happy. We rely on someone because we are fragile and we seek reassurance. But it is never enough. Soon we will feel unhappiness making its way. We’ll start looking around, looking for an escape route that we’ll inevitably find.
Loving, on the other hand, is always a wonderful experience. It is a wealth all yours and that no one can take away from you.❤️

"It is a pity that I did not live my life."

“Final Thoughts Before Death” by Psychological Journal
Before death, people do not regret the lack of sex or the unfulfilled dream of bungee jumping
Bronnie Ware, a palliative care nurse who cared for terminally ill people in their last days, told what people most often regret on their deathbed. People confessed to her that they had worked too hard in their lives. She wrote the book The Five Biggest Regrets of the Dying. Ware writes about the phenomenal clarity of consciousness that descends on people at the end of their lives, advising us to listen to their revelations and learn from them.
1. I wish I had the courage to stay true to myself and not live the way others expected me to. - “This is what people regret most often. When they realize that their life is about to end, and look back, they see how many plans and dreams remained unfulfilled. Most people in their lives failed to realize even half of their plans, and only on their deathbed did they realize that this was the result of their own choice. Health gives a freedom that few people think about until the moment when it suddenly disappears.
2. I wish I had not worked too hard - “I've heard this from just about every man I've courted. They regretted missing out on the youth of their children and not spending enough time with their spouses. Women also often admitted that they regretted this, however, since many of them belonged to the older generation, most of my patients did not need to take on the duties of the main breadwinner of the family. All the men I cared for sincerely regretted that they spent most of their lives working.
3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings frankly. - “Many people suppressed their feelings in order to maintain peace in relationships with others. As a result, they led a rather mediocre existence and never managed to become what they could become. Many of them developed illnesses, the causes of which were the bitterness and dissatisfaction they experienced.
4. It’s a pity that I didn’t communicate with friends so much - “Often people did not realize the true value of old friends until they were on their deathbed or when they were no longer to be found. Many of them were so preoccupied with the details and problems of their own lives that at some point they stopped maintaining relationships with their best friends. Dying people often felt deep regrets about not giving friendship the attention it deserved. On their deathbed, everyone feels longing for their friends.”
5. I wish I had allowed myself to be happy. - Many of them did not understand until the very end that happiness is a matter of choice. All their lives they adhered to the old foundations and habits. The so-called comfort of the familiar pervaded their emotions and physical lives. The fear of change forced them to pretend that they were satisfied with their lives.
All these points are united by one thing - "It is a pity that I did not live my life."

I need advice. Today my father was discussing with me that get nikkahfied. I said the girl will find me. I’ll do it on my own. He said: orat main haya hti hai nahe bol skti ye baat, you will do that. After 2 rejections in the past my heart is closed. What should I do? I do want a partner though

LaRki mEiN hAyA HoUti HaY, so now she can't confess her love openly huh? Tf? Mindsets like these are the reason why our society is fked beyond repair. Women are glorious and have been provided with far greater freedom and rights than our pseudo-religious society let's us in on. Idiots.
Stop using fake and wrong interpretations of Islam and our culture to suppress or objectify women.
Anyways...if you believe you are not in a place to take the first intimate initiative, I would advise you to have patience and wait. Marriage is your right. Don't let others control it for you.

In Islam you are not allowed to make friends, girls cant use perfumes, you are not allowed to smoke, you have to wear burqa all the time. no i dont want to be a muslim there is no freedom.

What do you want from us? I think you have sent this question to see how muslims react to this but girl you are born on fitra and you already know in your heart that these are the right things to do.

Are you having a good day?

This Remembrance Sunday I’m thinking about my visits to the@royalhospitalchelseato spend time with the incredible Chelsea Pensioners. I love listening to their stories and I’m always inspired by their spirit and resilience. Today we remember our Armed Forces lost in conflict around the world and their sacrifice for our freedom. Our gratitude will always be with those who spend their lives protecting us.. We owe you everything ..#LestWeForget
Are you having a good day

In Islam you are not allowed to make friends, girls cant use perfumes, you are not allowed to smoke, you have to wear burqa all the time. no i dont want to be a muslim there is no freedom.

Islam is about reality. When it comes to real life, man’s first need from a woman is about emotional and sexual needs, same as need for food, clothes, shelter and other necessities of life.Since marriage is the only institute in Islam to combine man and woman and since also marriage forming a family is the basis of a society while a society is a basis for a whole nation, marriage has got to made to last as long as possible, not like a one-night stand or a brief relation with too many switching options that ends up with mankind to a degraded animal loose life, there is no place for something like a boy’s girlfriend or a girl’s boyfriend. Islam views any relationship outside marriage as a waste of time and emotions, Islam sees it as a threat to virginity/loyalty and a gate leading to reckless acts that ends up with generations loosely attached to their roots . I mentioned it at the very beginning here, Islam is about reality, what lies in our minds and we see as human nature, not what scholars, liberal activists and other categories of protestors say in public, deep down inside their own minds and hearts they view the opposite sex as the ultimate wish and target , at least wars had proved it to be so, that sexual desires top all ambitions and goals and are the dominant feelings.
2-Women are allowed to wear perfume if its at home or with a gathering of other women. Wearing outside can cause undue attention from men and it is from the wisdom of Allah to ensure the safety of women.
3-Islam forbids everything that is harmful
Though tobacco or smoking in general is not explicitly mentioned in the Quran or hadith, contemporary scholars have condemned it as potentially harmful, and have at times prohibited smoking outright (declared it haram) as a result of the severe health damage that it causes.

They will face many problems in many aspects :-
-Like lack of communication skills because of improved technology of social media. Lack of social skills in face to face communication. Since a lot of communication is digital.
-They will not be rooted to their own traditional cultures.
-Lack of resources too, from my thinking because as citizens we are overusing resources.
-Their physical health n potential will be less as compared to our generation because as we see people use to remain in their own houses , no physical activity.
-They will be unknown of the history of their country n not be able to enjoy all those days with nature
-lack of patience or concept of waiting. Our kids have everything or almost everything Instantaneously. The concept of waiting for anything is almost physically painful for them
-lack of conflict resolution. In our society kids are encouraged to get rid of toxic friends and stand their ground whenever anyone offends them. Unforgiveness is fashionable and holding a grudge is praised. Not to say people who are abusive or toxic shouldn’t be walked away from at times, but I believe this generation is being taught that carrying grudges is healthy and okay. in my opinion it’s not and forgiveness is always an option because in forgiveness comes freedom for the soul and mind.

There's this thing of what Islam is & how we have taken it. We just focus on 'burqa', 'clothes', 'eating with right hand', etc. We skip a major part that's the morals like speaking truth, being honest, being sincere & kind, being helpful & selfless, respecting women & giving them their rights, etc.
You can't be a complete Muslim without these things.

They should be your number one person to count on, to confide in, no matter what. If you can’t tell your person (or your parents) after something goes wrong, it’s just not worth it. Any relation based on fear can never ever reach its full potential.
They should be there for you because they want to, not because you asked them to, they make your life a little easier, more bearable. They shouldn’t be the one adding into its miseries, in anyway. They should be a supporter not a critique. They should genuinely care about you but that care shouldn’t be suffocating. They should let you do what you wanna do. Freedom on your own never hits the way it does, when you know somebody got you. It’s okay to be concerned and it’s okay to be worried but it’s not okay to list things someone can or can not do in this one life that we all have. Even birds don’t like to be imprisoned.
Idk man, your person is suppose to feel like home not a place where you wanna run away from.

Recommend me some good books!!

1-The Paradox Of Choice: It shows hows you how today’s vast amount of choice makes you frustrated, less likely to choose, more likely to mess up, and less happy overall, before giving you concrete strategies and tips to ease the burden of decision-making.
2- The one Thing: (a) Not everything matters equally, (b) Multitasking is a lie. (c) Discipline is a result of habit. (d) Willpower is a finite resource. (e) Big is bad

3- Meet Your Happy Chemicals: Know what happiness is actually. A MUST READ.
4-Unlearn: Discard old beliefs or approaches that are no more working and replace them with new ones
5-Grit:Talent + effort = skill. And skill x effort = achievement. Effort counts twice — it builds skill and it makes skills productive
6- A Long Walk to freedom: An autobiography of Nelson Mandela, detailing his ascent from an anti-apartheid activist and Robben Island-jailed terrorist, to ANC leader and a cultural icon.
7-Atomic habits: In this book author explains how small small changes can give huge results over time and habits are not formed overnight but develops gradually
These are books i have read and found worth sharing.
